Based on the digital and network environment, this paper analyzes the problems existing in the teaching of traditional orthopedics in medical colleges and universities, including single teaching form, neglecting the students' practical skills and the phenomenon of students' poor learning initiative. It points out that the orthopedics teaching under the digital and network environment should be integrated through interactive teaching, multimedia teaching, WeChat network teaching, simulation teaching, practice teaching and other teaching forms and should pay attention to the reasonable use of teaching methods, make clear teachers and students' subject status, pay attention to students' learning ability training, so as to improve the teaching quality of orthopedics in medical colleges.

BACKGROUND:There is a controversy in the clinical anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction using autologous hamstring tendon or tendon alograft. OBJECTIVE:To compare the clinical results of anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with tendon alograft and autograft. METHODS: Totaly 123 patients with injured anterior cruciate ligament received anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and they were divided into two groups: 63 cases in autograft group and 60 cases in alograft group. The postoperative effects were assessed by the Lysholm score and Lachman test. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Al the patients were folowed for more than 8 months. After anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, the stability of the knee joint, Lysholm scores and Lachman test results were al improved significantly in the two groups; while there was no difference between the two groups at the last folow-up (P > 0.05). The clinical outcomes of anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with alograft and autograft are almost similar; therefore, surgeons should select ideal graft according to the patient’s condition and surgeon’s experience.

BACKGROUND:Studies have shown that factors affecting the outcomes of anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction mainly depend on the position of bone tunnels. However, there stil exists certain controversy over the researches on the position of bone tunnels. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the clinical value of three-dimensional computed tomography on postoperative evaluation of bone tunnel after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction under arthroscopic assistance. METHODS:Fifty-eight patients with anterior cruciate ligament injury who received the treatment from January 2014 to August 2014 underwent anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction under arthroscopic assistance. The femoral end was fixed using an Endobutton, and tibial end was fixed using absorbable interference screws. 58 knees from patients were scanned respectively by means of a dual-source CT scanner. A three-dimensional model of knee was rebuilt on a CT image post-processing workstation to reproduce the medial wal of the lateral femoral condyle and reconstruct single-bundle anterior cruciate ligament, tibial plateau and bone tunnel. The cases that had a Lysholm score≥ 80 points were included in the excelent and good group and those who had a Lysholm score < 80 points in the poor group. The relative position of the center point of the femoral and tibial bone tunnels were marked and measured and the position relation between the two center points was estimated. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Three-dimensional computed tomography reconstruction method clearly reflected the situation of bone tunnel and its entrance, fixtures and grafts after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. There was significant difference in the center point of femoral tunnel of the knee on the operated side between excelent and good group and poor group (P < 0.05). There was significant difference in the center point of the tibial tunnel between these two groups (P > 0.05). These results confirm that three-dimensional computed tomography can help to clearly reconstruct the images of bone tunnel and anterior cruciate ligament grafts after operation, which can be used clinicaly to assess the relationship between bone tunnel location and graft misshaping.

Objective: In order to detect the effect of bcl-xs on camptothecin-induced apoptosis in human nasopharyngeal carcinoma CNE-2Z cells in vitro.Methods:bcl-xs gene-bearing mammalian expression vector(pcDNA3xs)was transfected into CNE-2Z cells using LipofectAmine.The expression of bcl-xs was determined with western blot.Cells which were transfected with native pcDNA3 vector were used as control.Apoptotic cells were detected with flow cytometry after exposure to camptothecin for 24h.Results:Cell clone(CNE-2Zxs)with stable expression of bcl-xs was obtained as confirmed with western blot.Results from flow cytometry analysis showed a significant increase of apoptotic cells in CNE-2Zxs as compared with CNE-2Zneo after treatment with the same dose of camptothecin.Conclusion:Exogenous bcl-xs expression sensitized nasopharyngeal carcinoma CNE-2Z cells to camptothecin-induced apoptosis.

Objective To further study the clinical efficacy and safety of salvianolate injection for the treatment of angina pectoris in coronary heart disease (CHD)with heart-blood stagnation syndrome. Methods A randomized imitative-blind mutli-center clinical trials with positive control and 3 parallel tests was carried out in 480 cases. The patients were divided into three groups: the control group received salviane injection 20 mL (n=120), the treatment group 1 (n=240) and treatment group 2 (n=120) received salvianolate injection in a dosage of 200 mg and 400mg respectively . After 14-daytreatment , the clinical efficacy and safety of salvianolate were observed. BACKGROUND:It is stil disputed about the treatment of subacromial impingement syndrome at present, arthroscopic subacromial decompression or open subacromial decompression. OBJECTIVE:To assess the clinical therapeutic effects of arthroscopic subacromial decompressionversus open subacromial decompression in the treatment of subacromial impingement syndrome. METHODS:Controled trials on arthroscopic subacromial decompressionversus open acromioplasty in the treatment of subacromial impingement syndrome were colected in different databases through computer search. There was no limitation for language, randomized controled trials or blinded studies. At last, the meta-analysis was conducted by using RevMan5.0 software. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Four randomized controled trials and six non-randomized controled trials were included in this study, involving 583 patients with subacromial impingement syndrome. The results of meta-analysis prompted that as to the hospital inpatient days and time until return to work, the group of arthroscopic subacromial decompression was shorter than open subacromial decompression. However, as to the postoperative shoulder functional scores, the operative time, patient’s satisfaction, and the rate of excelent and good results of postoperative UCLAs, there were no significant statistical differences between two groups. Due to the certain limitations and deficiencies of the quantity and quality in the included trials, there must stil need large-sample, multi-centered, high-quality randomized controled trials to confirm these results.

Objective: The present study aimed to isolate and characterize a cancer stem cell-like sphere-forming cell subpopula-tion. Methods: By using a spheroid culture stem cell-conditioned medium, we isolated a subgroup of cancer stem-like cells from naso-pharyngeal cancer cell lines. Chemotherapy resistance was analyzed by using methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium, and clone-forming capabili-ty was determined by using softer agar clone formation assay. Finally, we verified the expression of the stemness-specific gene andβ-catenin by using immunocytochemistry staining and RT-PCR. Results: The lower-differentiated nasopharyngeal cancer lines con-tained more sphere-forming cells, whereas sphere-forming cells were not observed in the high differentiated nasopharyngeal cancer line CNE-1. Compared with CNE-2, CNE-2S (sphere-forming cells derived from CNE-2) exhibited higher chemotherapy resistance and clone-forming ability. Interestingly, the stemness genes BMI-1, ABCG2, and ALDH1 exhibited higher expression in CNE-2S than in CNE-2. β-catenin, a vital transcription factor of the WNT pathway related to stem cells, exhibited higher expression in CNE-2s cellular nucleus and plasma than in CNE-2. Conclusion: We isolated a subgroup of stem-like nasopharyngeal cancer sphere-forming cells. This discovery paves the way for the development of therapeutic strategies aimed at eradicating tumorigenic subpopulations in nasopharyn-geal cancer.
