Objective The paper focused on teaching status of evening college among different ma-jors, and tried to provide data support and suggestion for teaching reform of evening college in medical university. Method Using methods of questionnaires and interviews, the investigators analyzed five aspects of students in Peking University Health Science Center, which were the influences on study from family and work, and the evaluation on teaching, etc. The investigators entered data with Epidata 3.1 software and de-scribed it with SPSS 20.0 statistical software, with which they also did chi-square and nonparametric rank sum test. Results 38.2% (63/165) of clinical medicine students, 45.8% (27/59) of laboratory medical sci-ence students and 43.0%(71/165) of nursing students regarded hard work and limited energy as their major difficulty from jobs. Limited time for study was treated as the biggest problem for students of clinical medicine (58.2%, 96/165), laboratory medical science (46.5%, 27/58) and nursing (66.5%, 105/158). 41.9%(70/167) of clinical medicine students tended to receive traditional face-to-face teaching; 39.0%(23/59) of laboratory medical science students preferred partial face-to-face teaching with partial network teaching; while 37.2% (68/183) of nursing students tended to partial face-to-face teaching with partial self-study. 58.4%(97/166) of clinical medicine students, 55.9%(33/59) of laboratory medical science students and 64 . 8% ( 118/182 ) of nursing students preferred examination of both memorization and application . Conclusion Results showed that students in different majors presented similar opinions on teaching status, but also with a few dif-ferences. There were the same characteristics between students of clinical medicine and nursing, both with high satisfaction. While students in the laboratory medical science showed the special characteristics, with low satisfaction.

Objective:To review and analyze the clinical experience of children with aortic valve stenosis and/or insufficiency treated with autologous pulmonary valve for aortic valve replacement procedure(Ross operation) with ePTFE artificial valve for right ventricular outflow tract reconstruction. Methods:From 2015 to 2020, 8 cases of aortic stenosis and/or aortic insufficiency treated by Ross operation in our center were collected, with an age of 0.5-13.2 years old. 4 cases of aortic stenosis were diagnosed preoperatively, 3 cases of aortic stenosis with aortic insufficiency, and 1 case of infective endocarditis involving the aortic valve. The operation was carried out in three steps: Harvest autologous pulmonary valve; the diseased aortic valve was resected and autologous pulmonary valve was transplanted to the aorta by aortic root transplantation; the right ventricular outflow tract was reconstructed by a handmade ePTFE artificial flap blood vessel. Results:In 6 cases, the right ventricular outflow tract was reconstructed by hand-sewn ePTFE trileaflets, and artificial univalve in 2 cases, no death occurred during operation; all patients were cured and discharged. The patients were followed up for 1 to 36 months, with mean of(12.63±12.19) months. There was no long-term death or valvular complications. During follow-up echocardiography indicated 1 case of moderate aortic regurgitation, 1 case of mild-moderate regurgitation, and moderate regurgitation was found in 2 patients with artificial single pulmonary valve. For the remaining patients, they were mild aortic regurgitation, and a trivial or mild pulmonary artery regurgitation with hand-sewn three-leaflets ePTFE artificial vessel; All patients were followed up at the last time with a peak pressure of(6.63±3.46) mmHg(1 mmHg=0.133 kPa) across the aortic valve. The left ventricular outflow tract and aortic annulus shrank slightly after surgery(the diameter of one patient with Ross-Konno operation increased), but the annulus diameter increased with age. There was no need for further intervention. Conclusion:The Ross operation is safe for the treatment of aortic valve disease, it has good hemodynamic effect, and the autologous pulmonary artery has growth potential, especially suitable for children and young patients. Hand-sewn ePTFE with trileaflet vessels for reconstruction of right ventricular outflow tract performs well in anti-regurgitation function in the short term or may be used as a replacement material for the homograft/heterograft vessel, but longer follow-up and more cases are needed.

Objective:To analyze the patterns of antibacterial agents in Chinese children surveyed by the China multi-center monitoring network for the application of antibacterial agents in children and neonates in 2019 by using World Health Organization (WHO) Access, Watch, Reserve and Not-recommended (AWaRe) and typical anatomical/therapeutic/chemical (ATC) in this study. Methods:The cross-sectional method was adopted.A multi-center cross-sectional survey was conducted on one day from September to December 2019.The information of all inpatients taking antibiotics was uploaded to the network-based data collection system (https: //garpec-31.mobilemd.cn/login.aspx? relogin=true). This study covered 13 hospitals from 10 provinces and cities in China. All hospitalized children in the Respiratory Department, Infectious Disease Department, General Surgery Department, Pediatric Intensive Care Units, Neonatal Intensive Care Units and Neonatology joined in this survey. The clinically used antibacterial agents were classified by AWaRe and ATC, and the AWaRe and ATC distributions of antibacterial agents prescribed for Chinese children and neonates were described. Results:Of the 2 644 antibiotic prescriptions included from 13 hospitals, 2 134 (80.71%) were for children and 510 (19.29%) were for neonates.Of all antibiotic prescriptions, there were 368 (13.92%) Access antibiotics prescriptions, 1 973 (74.62%) Watch prescriptions, 60 (2.27%) Reserve prescriptions and 243 (9.19%) Not-recommended prescriptions. The top-five antibiotics prescribed for children and neonates were third-generation cephalosporins (1 056, 39.94%), macrolides (492, 18.61%), carbapenems (275, 10.40%), beta lactam-beta lactamase inhibitors (246, 9.30%), and second-generation cephalosporins (136, 5.14%). The use ratios of Access, Watch, Reserve and Not-recommended antibiotics in each center ranged from 0 to 30.00%, 36.67% to 97.20%, 0 to 17.02% and 0 to 33.33%, respectively. In 1 360 antibiotic prescriptions for children and neonates with pneumonia, there were 152 (11.18%) Access antibiotics, 1 051 (77.28%) Watch antibiotics, 37 (2.72%) Reserve antibiotics, and 120 (8.82%) Not-recommended antibiotics. The top-five antibiotics prescribed for children with pneumonia were third-generation cephalosporins (522, 38.38%), macrolides (388, 28.53%), beta lactam-beta lactamase inhibitors (141, 10.37%), carbapenems (117, 8.6%) and penicillins (49, 3.60%).Conclusions:Watch antibiotics and broad spectrum antibiotics such as third-generation cephalosporins and macrolides prone to induce resistance are the main antibacterial agents used in Chinese children and neonates with pneumonia.Broad-spectrum antibiotics may be overused in Chinese children and neonates.
