Objective To investigate the effects of pseudolaric acid B(PAB) on the invasiveness and metastatic activity of cervical cancer HeLa cells in vitro and the possible mechanism. Methods HeLa cells were divided into 5 groups: blank control group,DDP 3.125?g/ml group,20?mol/L PAB group,10?mol/L PAB group and 5?mol/L PAB group. The effect of PAB on invasive ability of HeLa cells was observed with a Transwell cell culture chamber. The mRNA expression of MMP22 and MMP29 in HeLa cells was detected by RT-PCR and the protein expression was detected by Western blotting. Results The average number of invaded HeLa cells was 15.60?2.45 in 20?mol/L PAB group and 20.14?2.48 in 10?mol/L PAB group, which was significantly lower than those in control group(46.50?4.70) and PAB 5?mol/L group(42.44?5.80,P

AIM: To determine whether overexpression of CLN3 is involved in the tumorigenesis of ovarian cacinoma. METHODS: 10 specimens of ovarian carcinoma were screened for CLN3 gene expression level by semiquantitative RT-PCR and Western blotting. RESULTS: Overexpression of CLN3 mRNA and protein was found in all ovarian tumor tissues as compared with normal tissues. CONCLUSION: The overexpression of CLN3 may contribute to tumor development of ovarian cancer.

Objective To investigate the methyenetetrahydrofolate (MTHFR) gene and angiotensin convertion enzyme (ACE) gene polymorphisms in pregnancy induced hypertension(PIH). Methods The MTHFR and ACE gene genotypes were determined in 62 pregnancy induced hypertension patients and 120 normal pregnant women by PCR RFLP. Results The frequencies of T allele(0.52) and the T/T genotype(27%) of MTHFR gene in PIH group were markedly higher than those in the control group(39% and 15% P

1.0,achieved the standard request of Disinfection Technology standard.RESULTS Through EOW disinfection, the bacteria were not found on the object surfac of transports and conformed to the object surface disinfection request of Disinfection Technology Standard.CONCLUSIONS Applying EOW to disinfection of polluted instrument recycling vehicle for clinical purpose can fulfill the State standards completely;EOW has strongly germicidal activity, also with characteristics as rapidity, safety and environment security, without any irritant odor. These results indicate a widely potential use of EOW as in hospital disinfection supply center, especially, with a positive significance in health care for pediatric patients.

Uric acid is an end product of purine metabolism. A large number of clinical studies have shown that high-level serum uric acid is a good predictor of outcome in patients with acute ischemic stroke. Oxidative stress is the main mechanism of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury. As a potent antioxidant, uric acid is considered to have a potential neuroprotective effect in the vascular recanalization treatment, but its specific mechanism remains unclear. This article reviews the neuroprotective mechanism of uric acid in cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury in order to provide ideas for future research and clinical practice.
