1.Analysis on correlation between glycosylated hemoglobin control situation and hemorheological indicators in diabetes patients
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2016;37(14):1907-1908,1911
Objective To investigate the correlation between the glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) detection data and hemo‐rheological indicators in diabetes patients to provide reference basis for its treatment and prevention .Methods One hundred and forty‐two patients with typeⅡdiabetes mellitus(T2DM ) in the hospital were selected as the research subjects and divided into the A group(69 cases ,better control) and B group(73 cases ,poor control) according to the HbA1c detection results .Contemporaneous 70 healthy individuals undergoing physical examination were selected as the control (C group) .The detection results of HbA1c ,hemo‐rheology and biochemical indexes were performed the contrastive analysis .Results Except hematocrit and erythrocyte deformation index without statistical difference among 3 groups(P>0 .05) ,the other hemorheologic indicators had statistical differences among 3 groups(P<0 .05) .No matter the HbA1c level in T2DM patients ,the hemorheological indexes ,triglyceride and total cholesterol were higher than those in the healthy people ,When the HbA1c leve was poorly controlled ,the increase degresss of various indexes were more significant .Conclusion The abnormality of hemorheology indices exist in most of the patients with diabetes mellitus .It is recommended that clinic should monitor the HbA1c level for long term and strictly observe the change of hemorheology indexes to guide the clinical treatment for reaching the effects of early vascular protection and prevention of diabetic complications .

Objective To study the value of serum procalcitonin(PCT) to the early diagnosis of sepsis .Methods From June 2014 to June 2015 ,a total of 686 cases were enrolled in this retrospective study .PCT tests were assayed within 2 days of bacterial culture .Results In this study ,56 cases ,67cases ,and 567cases were classified into the positive blood culture group ,positive body fluid culture group ,and negative all culture group ,respectively .Median PCT values were 4 .26 2 .78 ,0 .46 ng/mL ,respectively .Me-dian PCT values in the gram-positive bacterial culture group and gram-negative bacterial culture group ,respectively ,were 2 .35 and 4 .56 ng/mL .Median PCT values in the positive hydrothorax culture group ,positive ascites culture group ,and positive bile culture group ,respectively ,were 1 .91 ,5 .23 ,3 .64 ng/mL .In all ,Median PCT values of 47 cases of sepsis and 16 cases of severe sepsis were 5 .32 and 10 .25 ng/mL ,respectively .Conclusion PCT level is correlated with the severity of sepsis ,pathogenic bacteria type ,and the site of infection ,and can be used in the early diagnosis of sepsis .

Objective To explore the relationship between plasma homocysteine levels and diabetic retinopathy (DR).MethodIn 40 DR patients and 63 non-DR patients, the indexes including plasma homocysteine concentrations, duration of diabetes, ages, blood pressure, preprandial blood glucose(PBG),plasma GHbA,e,plasma lipids, serum folie acid and semm vitamin B12 were analyzed.ResultsPlasma homocysteine level was significantly higher in DR patients (12.9μmol/L) than that in non-DR patients (7.8μ.mol/L) (P<0.01),and the relationship remained significant correlation after adjusted for duration of diabetes,GHbA1c,ages,serum folic acid and serum vitamin B12(OR = 1.23,P<0.05).ConclusionHyperhomocysteinimia is a risk factor and an independent predieator of DR.

Objective To investigate the effects of different drugs and to explore the mechanism of pain in mice with adenomyosis ( ADM) .Methods The mouse model of adenomyosis was induced by oral administration of tamoxifen. The vaginal smear was examined by cytology, and serum levels of 5-HT, GnRH-R, NGF and NF were determined. Results Higher level of 5-HT was detected in the controls compared with the models. The expression of GnRH-R and NGF in nor-mal endometrium and eutopic endometrium were significantly lower than those in ectopic endometrium. The expression on NF in normal endometrium was significantly lower than that in the eutopic and ectopic endometria. Conclusions Similar with regular dose of GnRH-a, half dose of GnRH-a can slow down the progress of ADM as well as reducing pain.Combina-tion of regular dose of GnRH-a and Diane-35 could consolidate the therapeutic effect and even achieve pathological cure.5-HT may take an active part in the mechanism of pain in ADM.
