Objective To study on antibacterial effect of active ingredient of se-enriched Macleya cordata.Methods Penicillin sodium and saline as control, detected the average inhibition zone diameter of se-enriched Macleya cordata group ( containing 0.96 mg/mL sanguinarine) on 9 common bacteria with disc agar diffusion method;20% methanol and saline as control, se-enriched Macleya cordata group which the average inhibition zone diameter was minimum, without se-enriched Macleya cordata group and penicillin sodium were diluted with 20% methanol, made concentration of 0.48, 0.24,0.12,0.06, 0.03 mg/mL.minimal inhibitory concentration ( MIC) of each treatment group was determined by agar dilution method, evaluated antibacterial effect of se-enriched Macleaya cordata group.Results se-enriched Macleya cordata group could improve antibacterial effect significantly, the average inhibition zone of 100 μg/mL sodium selenite treatment group was minimum(Φ15.33 mm);MIC of se-enriched Macleya cordata group on E.coli O1 , E.coli P22 , E.Dublin reduced from 0.96 to 0.24 mg/mL;MIC of S.typhimurium and S.suipare were 0.12 mg/mL;MIC of S.aureus and S.suis were 0.06 mg/mL; MIC of E.Dublin and L.murrayi were less than 0.03 mg/mL.Conclusion Se-enriched Macleya cordata improves the antibacterial effect signififcantly, and it lays the theoretical foundation for development and utilization of se-enriched Macleya cordata for future.

Bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs) play a pivotal role in the formation,induction and repair of the bone; BMPs have been confirmed to induce bone formation.Transforming growth factor-beta,insulin-like growth factor-Ⅰ and basic fibroblast growth factor also contribute to bone formation; combination of the factors with BMPs can promote the healing of fracture and non-union,which may have a bright future in orthopedics.

Objective To investigate the effect of tetramethylpyrazine pretreatment on the expression of cfos and heat shock protein (HSP70) during hypoxia-reoxygenation (H/R) in cultured fetal rat hippocampal neurons. Methods After the neurons were cultured and identified, they were randomly divided into 5 groups ( n = 24each): control group (group C), H/R group, and low, median and high concentration of tetramethylpyrazine pretreatment groups (group L, M and H). The neurons were exposed to 2 h of hypoxia followed by 24 h of reoxygenation. Tetramethylpyrazine was added with the final concentrations of 60, 200 and 800 μg/ml in group L, M and H respectively, and then the neurons were incubated for 1 h before H/R. The apoptosis rate, cell viability and expression of c-fos and HSP70 were detected. Results The cell viability was significantly lower, while the apoptosis rate was significantly higher in group A/R, L and H than in group C (P ＜0.01). The cell viability and HSP70expression were significantly higher, while the apoptosis rate and c-fos expression were significantly lower in group L, M and H than in group A/R, and in group M and H than in group L (P＜ 0.05). The cell viability and HSP70expression were significantly lower, while the apoptosis rate and c-fos expression were significantly higher in group H than in group M ( P ＜ 0.01 ).Conclusion The mechanism by which tetramethylpyrazine pretreatment inhibits the apoptosis in cultured fetal rat hippocampal neurons during H/R may be related to the dowm-regulation of c-fos expression and up-regulation of HSP70 expression.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the operation time and clinical effect of three types of materials (i.e., total-etching adhesive, self-etching adhesive, resin-modified glass ionomer cement) that are used to bond removable thermoplastic appliances.

METHODSThirty malocclusion patients (156 attachments) with removable thermoplastic appliances were randomly divided into three groups, with 10 individuals each. Attachments of groups A and B were bonded using 3M Adper Single Bond 2 and 3M Adper Easy One, respectively; both adhesives utilized 3M Z350 nano composite resin. Attachments of group C was directly bonded using GC Fuji Ortho LC. The operation time of each attachment was recorded. Failure rates of adhesion were evaluated during adhesion, 1 month after treatment, and 6 months after treatment.

RESULTSThe operation time of group C was shorter than those of groups A and B (P<0.01). Significant difference of adhesion failure rates was not found among the three groups (P>0.05). No significant difference of adhesion failure rates was also observed in different times of the same group (P>0.05).

CONCLUSIONThe attachment stability of the three types of materials achieved satisfactory effects. However, the operation method of resin-modified glass ionomer cement is more concise and suitable for clinical promotion.

Objective To explore the repair effect of the superficial iliac island flap for the hypertrophic scar of mons pubis after burned.Methods From July 2013 to July 2016,the author had treated 26 patients with mons pubis hypertrophic scar after burned.There were 19 males and 7 females among them.The age was from 1 year and 5 months to 10 years old.The scar area was of 6 cm ×5 cm-15 cm ×8 cm.Some of the patients had external genital malformations caused by scar contracture.Surgery removed the scar and completely released the basic shape of the vulva.It had to expand the superficial iliac island flap of 1 cm according to the size of the wound,and sufficient length of vascular pedicle according to the distance from the wound to the flap.The flap was cut in the superficial of the deep fascia,and reserved about 2cm wide fat along the superficial iliac artery.The superficial vein was located in the fat.The wound was covered by the flap,which was rotated directly or through a subcutaneous tunnel.Results Twenty six patients were treated with a single operation and no vascular crisis occurred.All the flaps survived.One patient delayed incision healing due to the high incision tension,and the remaining patients were in primary healing.The postoperative follow-up found that all the flaps had thin thickness,similar color to the surrounding skin,soft texture and feeling.Conclusions There are obvious signs of scarring in the mons pubis area after deep burns,and scar contracture can cause vulvar deformity.The superficial iliac island flap,which has a thin thickness,soft texture,similar color,and can be sutured directly for the donor site,is a good choice to repair the mons pubis hypertrophic scar.

Objective To develop a HPLC fingerprints of Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch.in Inner Mongolia.Methods The RP-HPLC method was adopted on Phenomenex C18(4.6?250 mm,5 ?m)analytical column by gradient elution with acetonitrile and acetic acid buffer solution as mobile phase.The gradient wavelength data acquisition was employed.The analysis time was 60 minutes and the flow rate was 1 mL/min.Results The HPLC standard fingerprints chromatography of Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch.consists of 10 common characteristic peaks.The results of method validation accorded with the technical standard of fingerprints.Conclusion This method is stable,accurate,reliable,and can provide a scientific basis for the quality control of Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch..

Objective To research the change rule of peripheral serum Th1/Th2/Th17 balance and relevant cytokines in atopic dermatitis(AD) and to further study its immunologic mechanism .Methods The levels of peripheral serum IFN‐γ,IL‐4 ,IL‐17 ,IL‐21 and IL‐23 in the patients with AD were detected by the flow immunofluorescence technology and the detection results were performed the statistical analysis ,thus the change rule of Th1/Th2/Th17 balance in AD was analyzed .Results The IL‐4 level in peripheral serum of the patients with AD was increased compared with the healthy control group (P<0 .05);the IFN‐γ/IL‐4 and IFN‐γ/IL‐17 in the AD group were significantly decreased compared with the control group (P<0 .01);IL‐17 was positively corre‐lation with SCORAD scores of AD severity (P<0 .05) .Conclusion Th1/Th2 and Th1/Th17 are decreased in the AD course .Th1/Th2/Th17 balance drift may be the important mechanism of AD pathogenesis .

Objective To investigate the cellular immune response to the recombinant DNA vaccine CRT120/HPV6bE7 in mice. Methods The recombinant encoding HPV6bE7, linked with CRT120, was constructed in pcDNA3.1 eukaryotic vector with the report gene GFP. The pcDNA3.1-GFP -HPV6bE7 was transfected into B16 cells by a lipofectamine kit. The C57BL/6 mice were vaccinated with recombinant DNA plamids. The T-cell phenotype in the peripheral blood lymphocytes of the immunized mice was measured by flow cytometry. The CTL activity of the lymphocytes from the spleens and lymph nodes, and the levels of IL-2 and IFN-? were analyzed. Results The constructed recombinant plasmid CRT120/HPV6bE7 was analyzed. Objective To establish a fluorosis model induced by coal burning and in ameloblasts of rat offsprings.Methods High fluoride air model was established based on the burning coal habit of the epidemic areas.Fluoride feed was made of corn dried by coal burning.Thirty-six SD rats were divided into 3 groups by random number table method according to body weight in a male and female ratio of 2 ∶ 1∶ in the high fluoride air room and rats were feed food with fluorine at 40 mg/kg (high fluoride group),25 mg/kg (low fluoride group);in the normal air room and rats were feed food with fluorine at 0 mg/kg (the control group),12 rats in each group.Mating litter in a ratio of 2 ∶ 1 at the end of 8 weeks.The offsprings were killed on postnatal day 3 and 7 to make mandible sections.Specimens were prepared for light microscope examination to observe the morphological changes of ameloblasts in the tooth germ.Results At the end of 0,2,4,6 and 8 weeks,serum fluoride of the high fluoride group were (0.031 ± 0.003),(0.060 ± 0.006),(0.085 ± 0.006),(0.110 ± 0.007) and (0.134 ± 0.008) mg/L;serum fluoride of the low fluoride group were (0.031 ± 0.003),(0.046 ± 0.005),(0.077 ± 0.006),(0.091 ± 0.007) and (0.104 ± 0.007) mg/L;serum fluoride of the control group were (0.030± 0.003),(0.037 ± 0.002),(0.044 ± 0.002),(0.046 ± 0.003) and (0.049 ± 0.003) mg/L.At the end of 2,4,6 and 8 weeks,serum fluoride of high fluoride group and low fluoride group were significantly higher than that of control group (all P ＜ 0.05).At 7 d,offspring rats in high fluoride group,adamantoblasts were in distortions and vacuole changes,but offspring rats in low fluoride group and the control group had no abnormality.Conclusion By providing rat with high fluoride air and food,we could establish a fluorosis model induced by coal burning in ameloblasts of rat offsprings.
