1.Progress of primary angiosarcoma of breast
International Journal of Surgery 2009;36(3):202-205
Primary angiosarcoma of breast is a rare malignant tumor, about 0.05%of all the malignant tumor of breast. The heteromorphism, such as endothelioeyte, blood vessel even caryocinesia, distinguishes this disease from other carcinoma of breast.Positive ratio of endothelial cell makers(Anti-FⅧR,CD3 1,CD34,UEA-1,et al)and VEGF is relatively high.Besides fine needle aspiration and biopsy,ultrasound,X-ray and MRI maybe helpful to di agnosis.Surgery is certainly the first choice to care this disease. The effect of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and tar geted therapy is still in research.

Objective To study the role of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) in regulating dendritic cells (DC) subsets and its effect on immune response. Methods BALB/c mice received 10?g of G-CSF once a day by subcutaneous injection for 6 days. Then, DC were separated from the peripheral blood. The ratio of DC1(CD11c +CD8a -) and DC2(CD11c +CD8a +) and their absolute numbers were determined with flow cytometry. One week after C57BL/6 PBMC stimulation, mixed lymphocyte culture was used to determine the ability of DC to proliferate priming T cells and the intensity of mixed lymphocyte reaction (MLR). Results After stimulation with different doses of G-CSF for 6 days, the absolute number of DC2 was increased from 9.6?10 6/L to 45.4?9.9?10 6/L (P

Objective To study the effect of FK506 pretreatment on endotoxin shock induced by LPS. Methods 155 mice of the Kunming strain were randomly divided into LPS group (n=80) and LPS|FK group (n=75). An endotoxin shock model of mice was reproduced by an intraperitoneal injection of LPS (25ml/kg for each mouse). Beginning from 2 days before the reproduction of the model, each mouse of the LPS+FK group were given 20ml/kg of FK506 q 12 h, by gastric gavage while animals of the LPS group were given an equal amount of 0.9% sodium chloride solution in the same way. The survival time of 20 mice of the LPS group and 15 mice of LPS+FK group was observed. 10 mice of each group were sacrificed at 0,0.5,2,4,6 and 8 hours after the injection of LPS, respectively. Blood samples were collected and serum TNF-? and IL-1?, contents, and activiry of ALT and AST were determined. The ratio of the wet weight and dry weight (W/D) of the lung was calculated, and the histopathology of the lung and the liver was studied. Results The mean survival time was longer and the 72h survival rate in mice of LPS+FK group was higher, but the serum ALT and AST activity and serum TNF-? and IL-1? contents were lower than those of LPS group at each time point. The W/D ratio of the lung in animals of both groups at 4,6 and 8 hours after the injection of LPS was greater than that at 0 hour (P

Objective To investigate the clinical effects and safety of spiral stone basket assisted with FURL in the treatment of unilateral upper ureteral stones for diameter>1.0 cm. Methods 140 patients with unilateral upper ureteral stones for diameter>1.0 cm from January 2012 to December 2015 were randomly divided into control group (70 patients) with FURL used alone and observation group (70 patients) with spiral stone basket assisted application on the basis of control group;the perioperative clinical indicators, the lithotripsy success rate, the stone clearance rate, the stone removal rate and the postoperative complication incidence of both groups were compared. Results The operation time of observation group was signiifcantly longer than control group (P<0.05). There was no signiifcant difference in the blood loss volume in operation and hospitalization time between 2 groups (P>0.05). The lithotripsy success rate and the stone clearance rate of observation group was signiifcantly higher than control group (P<0.05). The stone removal rate of observation group was signiifcantly lower than control group (P<0.05). The postoperative complication incidence of observation group was no difference between 2 groups (P> 0.05). The total treatment expenses of observation group was signiifcantly fewer than control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Spiral stone basket assisted with FURL in the treatment of unilateral upper ureteral stones for diameter>1.0 cm can efifciently higher the stone removal effects, reduce the stone removal risk and not increase the postoperative complications incidence.

Objective To study the diagnosis, pathomorphological and immunohistochemical features of gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) and to explore the reference parameters for malignancy. Methods Light microscopy was used to study the morphologic characteristics in 54 cases of gastrointestinal mesenchymal tumors, and the expression of CD117,CD34 and S 100 was detected by EnVision immunohistochemical method. ResultsMost borderline and malignant tumors were found in male. CD117 showed diffuse strong expression, CD34 mostly showed diffuse strong expression, S 100 incidentally showed focal expression, and the positive rates were 100%, 59% and 16% respectively. Conclusions CD117 is a sensitive and specific marker for the diagnosis of GIST. Tumor necrosis, high tumor cellularity and intestinal tumor mitotic activity over 1/50HPF were helpful parameters for judgement of malignancy, tumors are most often seen in male.

Objective To explore the effect of psychological rehabilitation on patients with limb motor dysfunction. Methods 136 cases of hospitalized patients who needed rehabilitation therapy and training were divided into observation group and control group. The control group received conventional rehabilitation, and the observation group received psychological rehabilitation (psychotherapy and medicine) in addition. Symptom Checklist-90 (SCL-90), Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA) and modified Barthel Index (MBI) were assessed before and 8 weeks after treatment. Results Most of the 136 patients were involved in psychological problems, including anxiety, depression, somatization, fear, hostility. There was no difference in the scores of SCL-90, FMA and MBI between 2 groups before treatment (P>0.05). After 8 weeks treatment, the scores of SCL-90 were lower, except psychotism (P>0.05), in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.05),the scores of FMA and MBI were higher in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.01). Conclusion The psychological rehabilitation plays an important role in rehabilitation of limb motor dysfunction.

Objective To evaluate the status of lymph node micrometastases in "non-metastatic" No11P lymph nodes as judged by conventional pathology in the lower third of gastric cancer. Methods In this study 43 No11P lymph nodes harvested from 43 patients which was histologically free of metastasis were examined by consecutive sections and TRAP( telomeric repeat amplification protocol)-ELISA (enzyme linked immunosorbent assay). The data were statistically analyzed according to the clinicopathological features of the patients. Results Micrometastasis was discovered in 4 lymph nodes from 4 patients by consecutive sections. The micrometastatic rate of the conventional pathologic non-metastatic No11P lymph nodes was 9%. The micrometastatic rate of the conventional pathologic non-metastasis No11P lymph nodes detected by TRAP-ELISA was 44%, including 4 lymph nodes observed by consecutive sections It revealed that lymph nodes micrometastases were correlated with the size of the tumor( x2 = 8. 488, P < 0. 05 )、and tumor stage (x2 = 12. 022,P < 0. 05 ). It also showed that the micrometastatic rate increased proportionally to tumor infiltration depth(x2 =6. 473, P <0. 05), not correlated with patients' demographic features, general type and histological differentiation of the tumor. Conclusions There was a high rate of micrometastasis in No11P lymph nodes. This lymph nodes micrometastasis was correlated with the size of the tumor, invasion depth of primary tumor and patients' clinical stage.
