Objective To explore the status of depression in patients with advanced schistosomiasis and its influencing fac-tors,so as to provide the evidence for improving psychological interventions. Methods A total of 206 patients with advanced schistosomiasis were investigated with the self-designed general information questionnaire, the Self-Rating Depression Scale, and WHOQOL-BREF Form. Results Among the 206 cases, the incidence of depression was 69.4%,and depression was negatively related to the quality of life(P = 0.000). The multiple logistic regression analysis showed that the times of hospitalization(β=0.442,P=0.007)was a risk factor for depression, while the high education levels(β=-0.583,P=0.011)and the history of por-tal hypertension operation(β=-0.917,P=0.000)were the protective factors. Conclusion The incidence of depression in ad-vanced schistosomiasis patients is high, and it is influenced by various factors. Therefore,we should take corresponding interven-tions to reduce its occurrence.

To investigate the effect of three kinds of polymeric scaffolds on attachment, proliferation and differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells, the cells were different polymeric scaffolds of PLA-PEG, PLA, PLGA, respectively. The proliferation of cell was evaluated by cell count; the attachment and morphology of BMSCs were observed by SEM; and differentiation was detected by alkaline phosphatase activity, fluorescence, and RT-PCR methods. Results showed that the cells in PLGA group spread better among BMSCs adhered to the three polymeric scaffolds. The activity of ALP was detected after 3 days culture in these three groups. There were no significant differences between PLA-PEG and PLGA groups, but the activity of ALP was higher than PLA group. The gene expressions of osteocalicin and collagen I were also observed in the early culture time. Calcium nodes formation in these polymeric scaffolds were detected. BMSC spreading first, then overlapping growth and secretion of matrix around the bottom and surface of scaffolds were observed through SEM. In summary, PLA-PEG and PLGA are better polymeric scaffolds for the bone tissue engineering, compared with PLA.

Methods From May 2014 to December 2015,93 patients with OSAHS in Jinhua Central Hospital were detected by MSMSMS[including 32 mild cases (MI),31 moderate cases (MO),and 30 severe cases (SE)] underwent electronic nasopharyngeal examination combined with the Muller test. The course of 93 OSAHS patients were recorded,including body mass index (BMI),sleep apnea index (AHI),mean oxygen saturation. The degree of collapse in the patients' soft palate area,tongue,epiglottis after area were calculated by the software. The results were analyzed by SPSS15. 0 statistical software. Results The disease courses between the mild group and moderate group [(4. 93 ± 2. 91)years,(8. 91 ± 4. 87)years],as well as between the moderate group and severe group [(4. 93 ± 2. 91)years,(9. 27 ± 4. 75) years],had statistically significant differences (t = - 3. 97,P = 0. 001;t =- 4. 33,P < 0. 001). The pairwise intergroup comparison of AHI among the three groups[(7. 75 ± 2. 49) times, (23. 24 ± 3. 74)times,(53. 27 ± 13. 59)times] showed statistically significant differences(t = 15. 49,P = 0. 000;t =- 45. 52,P = 0. 000;t = - 30. 02,P = 0. 000). The differences of MSaO2 between the mild group and severe group [(94. 25 ± 1. 11)% vs. (94. 45 ± 0. 72)% ],as well as between the moderate group and severe group[(94. 45 ± 0. 721)% vs. (91. 40 ± 3. 17)% ] had statistically significant differences ( t = 2. 85,P = 0. 000;t = 3. 05,P =0. 000). In the SE,there was a positive correlation with mean oxygen saturation (r = 0. 45,P = 0. 007). The collapse of soft palate area among the three groups had statistically significant differences (t = 3. 74,P = 0. 005;t = - 8. 39, P = 0. 000;t = - 4. 65,P = 0. 001). The collapse of posterior tongue area between the moderate group and mild group [(72. 65 ± 1. 56)% vs. (66. 69 ± 8. 64)% ],the mild group and severe group[(66. 69 ± 8. 64)% vs. (74. 33 ± 10. 96)% ] had statistically significant differences (t = 5. 96,P = 0. 008;t = - 7. 65,P = 0. 001). There was no statistically significant difference between the moderate group and severe group in the collapse of posterior tongue area (P > 0. 05). There were statistically significant differences between the mild group and moderate group[(63. 84 ± 8. 81)% vs. (75. 06 ± 5. 07)% ],the mild group and severe group[(63. 84 ± 8. 81)% vs. (76. 40 ± 7. 94)]in the collapse of epiglottic area (t = 11. 22,P = 0. 000;t = - 12. 56,P = 0. 000). There was no statistically significant difference between the moderate group and severe group in the collapse of epiglottic area(P > 0. 05). Conclusion Fiberoscope combined with Müller test can respond better upper airway compliance in OSAHS patients with MSMSMS. It is worth to promote in clinic.

To investigate the changes in the expression levels of scavenger receptor class B member 1 (SCARB 1) in the liver tissues before and after liver xenotransplantation and analyze the relationship between the variations in the SCARB1 expression and coagulation regulating dysfunction in the recipients. Methods The Wuzhishan miniature pig with α-1,3-galactosyltransferase gene-knockout(GTKO) was utilized as the donor and Macaca thibetana was chosen as the recipient.Heterotopic auxiliary liver xenotransplantation models were established. The liver tissue specimen was collected before and after liver xenotransplantation.Primary hepatocytes were extracted from the pig using collagenase digestion method.Human peripheral blood mononuclear cells were obtained by immunomagnetic bead sorting. These two types of cells were co-cultured and supplemented with human plasma to establish cell models with coagulation regulating dysfunction following liver xenotransplantation.Quantitative real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) and Western blot were performed to quantitatively measure and statistically compared the expression levels of messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) and protein of SCARB1 in the tissue and cell samples. At the cellular level, the expression of SCARB 1 was interfered by lentiviral vector. The coagulation time was detected to validate the effect upon coagulation function. Results The expression levels of SCARB1 mRNA and protein were significantly down-regulated after liver xenotransplantation (both P<0.05).In the cell models, the expression levels of SCARB1 mRNA and protein in the porcine hepatocytes co-cultured with human monocytes were significantly down-regulated compared with those in porcine hepatocytes without intervention (both P<0.05).Compared with the non-intervention group, the coagulation time was significantly prolonged after the expression of SCARB1 was interfered by lentiviral vector (P<0.05).Conclusions The down-regulated expression of SCARB1 in the liver graft is one of the main causes of mediating coagulation regulating dysfunction.Intervention of SCARB1 expression contributes to resolve the coagulation regulating dysfunction in the recipients after liver xenotransplantation.

Objective:To evaluate the distribution characteristics of postinterventional cerebral hyperdensities (PCHDs) in patients with acute anterior circulation large vessel occlusive stroke after interventional therapy using the Alberta Stroke Program Early CT Score (ASPECTS) and to investigate its predictive value for symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (sICH).Methods:Consecutive patients with acute anterior circulation large vessel occlusive stroke underwent endovascular mechanical thrombectomy (EMT) in the Stroke Center of Dongguan People's Hospital from January 2018 to December 2020 were retrospectively enrolled. The clinical, imaging and follow-up data were collected. The immediate PCHDs-ASPECTS after endovascular therapy were analyzed. Multivariate logistic regression analysis and receiver operator characteristic (ROC) curve were used to investigate its predictive value for sICH. Results:A total of 161 patients were enrolled in the study, including 115 males (71.4%). The baseline National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score was 13.6±5.6; 66 patients (41.0%) developed PCHDs and 35 (21.7%) had sICH. The baseline NIHSS score, the proportion of patients with severe stroke, the number of retrieval attempts and the detection rate of PCHDs in the sICH group were significantly higher than those in the non-sICH group, while diffusion weighted imaging-ASPECTS and PCHDs-ASPECTS were significantly lower than those in the non-sICH group (all P<0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that PCHDs had a significant independent positive correlation with sICH (odds ratio 6.036, 95% confidence interval 1.45-25.123; P=0.013), and PCHDs-ASPECTS had a significant independent negative correlation with sICH (odds ratio 0.70, 95% confidence interval 0.496-0.992; P=0.045). ROC analysis showed that the area under the curve predicted by PCHDs-ASPECTS was 0.832 ( P<0.05). When its cut-off value was 8 points, the sensitivity and specificity were 74.3% and 83.3% respectively. Conclusions:In patients with acute anterior circulation large vessel occlusive stroke treated with EMT, the immediate postoperative PCHDs is an independent predictor of sICH, and PCHDs-ASPECTS can early predict the risk of sICH after EMT.
