Objective To investigate whether dobutamine could induce or worsen electromechanical activity synchronism in the patients with idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy(DCM). Methods Eighteen patients with DCM[mean age ( 45.8 ? 13.9 ) years, NYHA class Ⅱ-Ⅲ, left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)

Objective To investigate the correlation of serum alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) with clinical pathological factors and prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma ( HCC ).Methods Two hundred and twenty patients with HCC who hospitalized in our hospital from January 2007 to June 2009 were enrolled in this study.The relationship of AFP levels before operation to clinical pathological factors such as pathological grade,tumor size,tumor encapsulation,tumor numbers,portal vein tumor thrombus,TNM stage and postoperative recurrence were analyzed.Results Serum AFP concentration before operation were related with tumor size ( x2 =11.76,P ＜ 0.05 ),tumor encapsulation ( x2 =17.07,P ＜ 0.05 ),portal vein tumor thrombus ( x2 =8.944,P ＜ 0.05 ),higher TNM stage ( x2 =4.929,P ＜ 0.05 ) and early postoperative recurrence rate ( x2 =5.569,P ＜ 0.05 ).However,it had no correlation with pathological edmondson grade tumor numbers.Conclusion HCC patients with high serum AFP concentration often has greater tumor without encapsulation,high occurrence rate of portal vein tumor thrombus and higher TNM stage,they are more likely to early postoperative recurrence.Serum AFP before operation is useful not only for diagnosis,but also as a prognostic biomarker to predict prognosis and recurrence.

Objective:To investigate an effective paradigm to test false belief understanding for the Autism. Method:By comparing the multimedia animation presentation and the traditional presentation, 20 autistic children's false belief understanding was analyzed as well as the normal children's.Results:Animation presentation was really helpful to both groups, especially for the children with autism. The performance might be underestimated due to the application of the traditional presentation in false belief tasks.Conclusion:The autistic children's theory of mind can be measured much closer to the truth if the more apt tasks are considered.

Objective To explore the effect of interventional ward to the development of interventional radiology.Methods Investigation of the first class of the third grade hospitals in northeast region of China for the development status of interventional radiology in 2005 through questionnaires was undertaken.The hospitals were divided into two groups according to setting up interventional ward or not,together with comparative studies of number of doctors,sorts of interventional techniques and number of cases.Results Altogether 52 3rd grade,1st class hospitals have established interventional therapy,including with ward of 29(55.8%)and no ward of 23(44.2%);furthermore the average numbers of doctors in the forementioned two kinds of hospitals were 4.8 ? 1.7 vs 2.8 ? 1.5(P

Objective To investigate abnormal myocardial contractile responses induced by dobutamine in patients with idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM).Methods Eighteen DCM patients underwent low dosage dobutamine stress echocardiography (5,10,20 ?g?kg~ -1?min~ -1).Transthoracic echocardiogram was recorded with the use of a HP Sonos 5500 color echocardiographic diagnostic system.Wall motions in 16 myocardial segments were assessed using a four-point scale recommended by the American Society of Echocardiography.During dobutamine infusion,abnormally contracting segments were classified into four different patterns of contractile response: improved,unchanged,worsened and biphasic.Unchanged,worsened and biphasic segments were defined as abnormal contractile responses.Worsened and biphasic segments were judged to be ischemia-like responses.Results All patients showed abnormal myocardial contractile responses of wall motions (100%),and thirteen were ischemia-like responses ( 72.2%).In total 225 segments,126 segments showed abnormal contractile responses ( 56.0%).Among them,97 segments were unchanged segments ( 43.1%),29 segments were ischemia-like responses ( 12.9%),in which 16 segments were worsened ( 7.1%),and 13 segments were biphasic ( 5.8%).The statistical analysis showed that incidence of improved segments was highest in two point segments( 62.1%) compared with three point and four point segments; incidence of ischemia-like responses was highest in three point segments( 24.6%); incidence of unchanged segments was highest in four point segments( 68.4%).Conclusions DCM has the abnormal myocardial contractile responses induced by dobutamine stress echocardiography.It indicates there is the ischemia-like energy mismatch between demand and supply in DCM,which would be related to etiology and progress of DCM.

Objective To evaluate the effi ciency of thrombectomy of iliac-femoral venous thrombosis (I-FVT) via transjugular approach. Methods Seven patients wit h I-FVT were treated with implantation of inferior vena caval filter, balloon- di rected drag, and catheter-directed suction. Some patients were treated with PTA and stent. Meanwhile, strict anti-coagulation was necessary. Results Thrombectom y via transjugular was successful in all 7 patients. The iliac- femoral veins w e re patent after the operation and swollen symptom of lower limb disappeared. The re was swollen of the lower limb in 1 patient after treatment. Symptom disappear ed after PTA or stent treatment again. There were no serious complications. Foll ow-up study showed no pulmonary embolization or recrudescence in all 7 patients . Conclusion Thrombectomy via transjugular approach is a safe an d effective method for the treatment of I-FVT.

Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of prophylactic antibiotic therapy on nosocomial infection in patients with severe viral hepatitis,and inquire into its applied mechanism.Methods 159 cases of severe viral hepatitis were divided into groups according to clinical stage and the applied circumstance of antibiotic medicine;Group A:receiving no prophylactic antibiotics therapy,Group B intravenous injection of the third generation cephalosporins and Group C intravenous injection of the semisymthetic penicillins.All cases had no infection on admission and received no antibiotics for 7 days before entering hospital and had stayed in hospital over 72 hours.Results Nosocomial infection occurred in 76 patients among the 159 selected cases.The incidence of nosocomial infection of Group A,Group B and Group C was 56.16%(41/73),34.0%(17/50) and 50.0% (18/36),respectively.The occurring time of nosocomial infection of Group B in early,middle and late stage patients with severe viral hepatitis was significantly later than Group A.The incidence of nosocomial infection in middle and later stage patients was significantly lower,and the mortality was significantly decreased in middle stage patients.There was significantly difference between group A and B(P0.05).Conclusion Prophylactic usage of antibiotics of third generation cephalosporins can not only delay nosocomial infection but also decrease the incidence of nosocomial infection in middle and late stage patients and mortality in middle stage patients with severe viral hepatitis.
