Cancer stem cell hypothesis has become a new theory. According to this theory, cancer stem cells play a decisive role in car-cinogenesis, progression, and metastasis. This theory offered new ideas and strategies for cancer treatment. However, only a small fraction of cells in a tumor were cancer stem cells. Therefore, the identification and enrichment of these cells are significant challenges for numerous researchers conducting further study. Micro-sphere culture has been an effective tumor stem cell enrichment technolo-gy in recent years. The application of this technique makes the cancer stem cell research process easy. In addition, it makes the evalua-tion of tumor progression and prognosis of patients in clinical possible. This article will focus on the applications of this technology, and microsystem integration will be described in detail.

Objective To investigate effect of Salvia miltiorrhiza Ligustrazine on peripheral lymphocyte neutrophil proportion, neurological function score and prognosis in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods 125 cases of acute cerebral infarction in our hospital from June 2015 to June 2016 were selected as the research object, randomly divided into two groups, the control group was treated with conventional treatment of acute cerebral infarction, patients in the observation group in the control group patients on the basis of Salviae Miltiorrhizae and Ligustrazine Hydrochloride Injection, all patients were detected in the blood leukocyte classification, and the NIHSS evaluation of patients with neurological function and prognosis of the two groups of patients. Results After treatment, the observation group of white blood cells in patients with (×109/L), neutrophil (%), neutrophil / lymphocyte was significantly lower than the control group patients, two groups of patients before treatment, after treatment of 1 day and 7 days, two groups of NIHSS score comparison showed no significant difference, after the treatment of 14d patients in the observation group the NIHSS score was (11.1±3.3), which was obviously lower than the control group, the patients in the observation group were six cases death and disability in three cases, 53 cases of independent life, significantly better than the control group, the difference was statistical significance(P<0.05). Conclusion Salvia miltiorrhiza Ligustrazine can help to reduce the ratio of neutrophil / lymphocyte, improve neurological function and improve the prognosis of patients with acute cerebral infarction, and it is worthy of clinical application.

Objective To evaluate the curative effect and problems of X-ray fluoroscopy guided percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) in treating osteoporotic spinal compression fractures. Methods Twenty-four patients (15 females and 8 males) with 44 vertebral compression fractures underwent PVP. They were average 69 years of age (48-83 years). The fracture segment was within T 5-L 3 (20 thoracical vertebrae, 24 lumbar vertebrae). Under the guidance of C-arm fluoroscopy, bone marrow biopsy needle was inserted percutaneously via transpedicular way into the fractured vertebrae. Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) was then injected into the fractured vertebrae. Vasual analogue scale (VAS), mobility and analgesic usage were evaluated 2 days before and after PVP and in the follow-up period. Results PVP was successful in 21 cases (40 vertebrae ), but failed in 2 cases (4 vertebrae) due to weak position endurance. The volume of PMMA injected was 1.0-8.0 ml per vertebrae. Polarized immune response of immune cells was discovered 30 years ago, which facilitates the study on differentiation of lymphocyte. Recently recognition on multifunctional polarized immune response of lymphocyte and monocyte/macrophage would promote to elucidate the regulatory network of immune cells, diversity and complexity of immune response as well as the study on hemopoiesis. In this paper the approach of multifunctional polarized immune response of lymphocyte, monocyte/macrophage and dendritic cells were reviewed, and their role, especially in cytokine storm and tumor pro-inflammation condition were discussed.

The success of yielding induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells from human somatic cells demonstrates the important role of reprogramming in the formation of stem/progenitor cells and initiates the exploration of the origin of leukemia stem cells. In our previous work, we have found two types of leukemia, bona fide leukemia and non-bona fide leukemia. Different leukemias originate from different leukemia stem/progenitor cells which are critical to the genesis and evolution of leukemia. Bona fide leukemia and non-bona fide leukemia originate from leukemia stem cells and progenitor cells, respectively. Recent research suggests that different types of leukemia are influenced by the reprogramming state of their origin cells.

Objective To investigate the association between resting heart rate(RHR)and dyslipidemia. Methods A total of 772 subjects(average age:40. 1 ± 11.8 years;male:74. 7%)were recruited by random sampling method from medical checkup population. The survey data included resting heart rate,blood lipid and other metabolic parameters. The subjects were divided into three groups according to the RHR,as RHR ＜ 70 bpm,70 bpm ≤ RHR ＜ 80 bpm,RHR ≥ 80 bpm groups. Results RHR were positively correlated with triglyceides (TG),as well as total cholesterol(TC)(r = 0. 316 and r = 0. 110 respectively,all P value ＜ 0. 05). Low RHR had no significant correlation with HDL-C or LDL-C. The prevalences of hypertriglyceridemia and hypercholesterolemia increased significantly with RHR elevation(χ2 = 7. 214 and 5. 285 respectively,all P value ＜ 0. 05). By logistic regression analysis,adjusted for BMI,gender,serum creatinine,serum uric acid,fasting blood glucose and age,we found that compared with RHR ＜ 70 bpm group,the odds ratio(OR)values for hypertriglyceridemia was 1. 540 (95%CI:1. 086-2. 185,P=0. 016)in 70 bpm≤RHR ＜80 bpm group and 1.640(95% CI:1.067 -2.523,P =0. 024)in 80 bpm ≤ RHR group,and the OR values for hypercholesterolemia was 1.197(95 % CI: 0.749 - 1.913,P=0.453)in70 bpm≤RHR ＜80 bpm group and 1.814(95% CI:1. 036-3. 177,P =0.037)in 80 bpm≤RHR group. Conclusions RHR is independently and positively correlated with the prevalence of hypertriglyceridemia and hypercholesterolemia and the blood levels of both lipid. RHR has no significant correlation with HDL-C or LDL-C level.
