2.The application of near-infrared fluorescent method in sentinel lymph node biopsy of breast cancer
Journal of Clinical Surgery 2016;24(9):719-721
Sentinel lymph node biopsy has been an important part of breast cancer surgery, which includes reactive dye method, radionuclide method and the combination of both. However, the radionucli-ded tracer is not approved domestically, which limits its clinical application. Near-infrared fluorescent method depends on near-infrared light. It activates indocyanine green to produce fluorescence and then flu-orescent image device can be used to observe the lymphatic system, which is a real time and dynamic de-tection for lymphangion and lymph node. Furthermore, the definite incision site can be located, which less-ens the damage of tissues. The fluorescent method can avoid some disadvantages of the above methods. However, the shadowless lamp should be turned off during the operation, which prolongs the operation time. Due to the quenching effect, the brightness of fluorescence will attenuate and the detected depth will be limited. Combination of near-infrared fluorescence method and reactive dye method may improve the detection, but further large-scale clinical trials are required for confirmation.

Journal of China Medical University 2001;30(2):94-95,100
Objective: Our aim was to evaluate the role of TGF-β1 mRNA in pulmonary fibrosis. Methods: The present study was taken to investigate the expressions of TGF-β1 mRNA in alveolar macrophage(AM) and lung tissues in different stages of bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis in rats through reverse transcript polymerase chain reaction. Results: In bleomycin-treated rats, the expressions of TGF-β1 mRNA was remarkably increased in AM from 3rd day (P< 0.05) , and reached the peak on 7th day (P<0.01) , there was also a continuing high level from 14th day to 28th day (P>0.05). It showed similar pattern with that in lung tissues. Conclusion: There were TGF-β1 mRNA expression in both normal rats and pulmonary fibrosis rats. AMs seemed to be the main source of TGF-β1 mRNA in lung tissues, especially at stage of alveolitis.

Chinese Journal of Diabetes 1994;0(03):-
The oral glucose tolerance test, insulin release test and C peptide relea se test were carried out in 69 hypertensive patients and 55 normotensive subjects. It was found that, the concentrations of blood glucose, serum insulin and C peptide and the occurrence rates of glucose metabolic abnormality(diabetes mellitus and impaired glucose tolerance)of hypertensive group were higher than those of normotensive control group. The co-existence of hyperglycemia and hyperinsulinemia suggests the existence of insulin resistance.

Chinese Journal of Dermatology 2012;45(4):246-248
ObjectiveTo assess the microscopic features of alopecia areata(AA) by using in vivo confocal laser scanning microscopy(CLSM).MethodsBetween January 2010 and May 2011,26 male and 20 female patients diagnosed with AA were enrolled in this study.AA lesions and perilesional normal skin were examined by means of in vivo CLSM.Tissue specimens were obtained from the lesions and perilesional normal skin of 10 out of the 46 patients and subjected to routine histopathologic examination.ResultsThe number of hair follicles per unit area(cm2) was decreased in lesions of progressive AA and resting AA compared with normal perilesional skin(134.856 ± 18.301 and 147.159 ± 17.536 vs.301.613 ± 35.317,both P < 0.05).Although the quantity of hair follicles increased in lesions of recovery AA((227.778 ± 16.861 )/cm2),but was still less than that in the normal perilesional skin (P < 0.05).There was a lack of hair shaft in follicles,as well as an inflammatory infiltration in hair follicles, around hair follicles and capillaries in superficial dermis in lesions of progressive AA.The inflammatory infiltration was attenuated in lesions of resting AA.In lesions of recovery AA,the infiltration was further attenuated with an apparent growth of lanugos and terminal hairs.ConclusionsAs far as AA lesions are concerned,CLSM images are consistent with histopathological findings.CLSM may serve as a promising tool for monitoring efficacy and predicting prognosis based on hair growth cycle, hair follicle number, and inflammatory infiltration degree.

Autophagy plays an important role in the regulation of activation and inflammation of microglia after ischemic stroke. The interaction between autophagy of microglia and the inflammation mediated by microglia after ischemic stroke was complex and a large num-ber of molecules were involved. The receptors of microglia activation and related substances may be possible mechanism in the regulation of microglia autophagy. Autophagy inhibitors and microglia receptor targeting therapy may provide new strategies for the clinical treatment of ischemic stroke. This paper summarized the progress of microglia autophagy after ischemic stroke.
