An analytical method for simultaneous determination of five quinolones in spicy soup was developed. Spicy soup samples were firstly extracted by EDTA-Mcllvaine buffer at pH 4, then purified and concentrated by a novel Packed fiber solid phase extraction ( PFSPE ) coulumn. The extracted liquid supernatant was loaded onto the column, rinsed with water, and then eluted with 2% ammoniated methanol. The mobile phase was methanol-water-phosphoric acid (25:75:0. 1, V/V, adjusting the pH to 2. 8 with triethylamine) . These analytes were quantified by high performance liquid chromatography-fluorimetric detector( HPLC-FLD) at excitation and emission wavelength of 280 nm and 450 nm respectively. Recoveries of spiked quinolone antibiotics in spicy soup were from 72 . 1% to 110 . 3% with intraday relative standard deviation (RSD) between 1. 6% and 4. 3% and inter-day RSD from 2. 0% to 4. 3%. Limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantitation(LOQ) were from 1. 2 to 5. 4 μg/L and from 3. 9 to 18 μg/L, respectively. The method could be applied to determine the quinolones in spicy soup.

Journal of Environment and Health 2000;17(6):338-340
[Objective] To explore more scientific and reasonable methods for testing the effectiveness of indoorair purifying sets, so as to obtain scientific and constant experimental data from every laboratories. [Methods] Theindoor air purifying sets were classified on the basis of their working mechanisms. Several kinds of current popularmethods for testing the purifying effectiveness and their characters were compared each other and analyzed. The in-fluencing factors and limited conditions of 3 determining models under special conditions established on the basis ofbalance model of pollutants release were explored and studied. [Results] Several current popular methods for testingthe purifying effectiveness were crude, which couldn't accurately reflact the purifying effectiveness of tested indoorair purifying sets. To ensure the experimental operation simple and strict and to obtain scientific testing data, the ex-perimental process should be controlled and transfered to a model suitable for simple volatile matter or other modelseasily operated under the control of its influencing factors. [Conclusion]The establishments of accurate testing meth-ods and accurate expressions of testing results were the sufficient and essential conditions for accurate evaluation ontesting objectives.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2009;25(4):588-590
Astragalus produced in Gansu were chosen as the raw material to leachate. Studied the antibiotic effects of the leaching solution on the cariogenic bacteria and compared with the imported bacteriostatic product MI. Streptococcus mutans and Lactobacilli were cultured in the medium for 24 h. The PH and A600 values were measured. Statistical analysis was conducted by using SPSS 13.0. The leaching solution of astragalus has the same inhibitory effects on the growth and acid production of streptococcus mutans and lactobacilli as MI.

Objective To investigate the effects of targeted forkhead box E1( FOXE1) gene on epitheli-al-mesenchymal transition(EMT) of papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) cell line TPC-1, and to study its role in in-vasion and migration of TPC-1 cells. Methods The lentiviral expression vector for RNA interference of FOXE 1 gene was constructed to silence the expression of FOXE 1.Real-time polymerase chain reaction ( RT-PCR) and Western blot were used to detect the expression of such EMT markers as E-cadherin , N-cadherin and Vimentin . Transwell assay and Scratch assay were used to analyze TPC-1 cells migration and invasion .Results After RNA interference of FOXE1, the morphology of TPC-1 cells indicated a transformation of EMT .The expression of epi-thelial phenotype marker E-cadherin decreased remarkably while mesenchymal marker Vimentin was significantly up-regulated(P<0.01).Compared with the control group , the expression of Vimentin mRNA in the experimen-tal group was 2.24 times higher .The migration and invasion ability of TPC-1 cells increased significantly , and the number of cells in transwell was 2.11 times of the control's.Conclusion The silence of FOXE1 gene probably increases the invasion potential of human PTC cells through EMT .
