Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2014;23(6):546-549
Objective To investigate the mental health and the general well-being among Hangzhou scientific and technical workers, and the mediating effect of coping strategies in perceived level of stress and mental health status. Methods A stratified cluster sampling method were developed among engineering technicians, agrotechnicians, researchers, health works and teaching staff.510 participants were evaluated with perceived stress of different types,Trait Coping Style Questionnaire (TCSQ),General Well-Being Schedule (GWB),and Self-Reporting Questionnaire 20 (SRQ-20).Results There was significant difference among sub-groups with different educational backgrounds, different occupation, and different age group for total scores of perceived stress (F=5.026,5.637,6.421,P<0.01).Female had significantly higher scores than male on total scores of negative coping factor of TCSQ,total scores SRQ-20 (26.33±6.29,4.36±3.84 vs 24.93±5.68,3.32±3.53) (all P<0.05).Total scores of negative coping factor of TCSQ,total scores of positive coping factor of TCSQ,and total scores of perceived stress were the significant predictors of both total scores SRQ-20 and total scores of GWB (all P<0.001).Both total scores of positive coping factor of TCSQ and total scores of negative coping factor of TCSQ mediated the effects of perceived stress on total scores of SRQ-20 (23.87%,29.33%,respectively) and total scores of GWB (24.29%,23.24%,respectively).Conclusion There do exist the mediating effects between coping strategies in perceived stress and mental health status, the improvement of coping modes of scientific and technical workers can be regarded as a useful intervention strategy to improve their mental health status.

Objective To develop a control program running on the magnetic induction escape decompression control timer. Methods The software was developed by VHDL in a modular style under the environment of Quartus II. Results The control software stores decompression profile and accurately controls the commitment of the decompression process. Conclusion The program can work accurately according to the profile selected and meet our needs perfectly.

Objective To summarize the clinical experience of ESWL under B ultrasound guidance in treatment of urinary stones. Methods The clinical data of 20 625 patients who underwent B ultrasound-guided ESWL between August 1995 and July 2011 were retrospectively analyzed.Of the stones,8659cases were in the kidney,11 712 cases were in the ureter, and 254 cases were in the bladder. And 1965stones were radioparent. Results The stone fragmentation rates of the kidney, ureter and bladder stones were 96.27% ( 8336/8659),97.56% ( 1 1 426/1 1 712) and 99.21% ( 252/254),respectively.The total stone fragmentation rate was 97.04% (20 014/20 625 ).The 3-month stone-free rates of the kidney, ureter and bladder stones were 86.63% (7501/8659),95.32% ( 11 164/11 712) and 97.24% (247/254),respectively.The total 3-month stone-free rate was 91.69% (18 912/20 625).The stone fragmentation rate of radioparent stones was 97.91% ( 1924/1965 ),and the 3-month stone-free rate was 94.40% ( 1855/1965).Conclusion B ultrasound-guided ESWL is safe and effective in the treatment of urinary stones.

Objective To investigate the associations of peripheral CD4+ CD25 + CD127low/-regulatory T cells (Treg) with HBV viral load and liver pathology in hepatitis B virus (HBV) carriers. Methods Forty six chronic HBV carriers admitted in the first hospital of Jiaxing during October 2012 and February 2014,and 23 healthy subjects (controls) were enrolled in the study.CD4+ CD25 + CD127low/-Treg in peripheral blood of the two groups were detected by flow cytometry.Ultrasound-guided liver biopsies were performed in chronic HBV carriers and HBV DNA load was determined by real-time PCR method.Independent samples t test was used for the comparison between groups, and Spearman rank correlation or Pearson linear correlation analyses were performed. Results The frequency of the peripheral CD4+ CD25+CD127low/-Treg in 46 HBV carriers was (5.11 ±1.47)%,which was significantly higher than that in healthy controls [(3.46 ± 1.23) %,t =4.629,P < 0.01].The HBV DNA load in HBV carriers was (6.21 ±1.98)lg copies/mL,which was positively correlated with the CD4+ CD25+ CD127low/-Treg level (r =0.405,P < 0.01).Among 46 HBV carriers,21 (45.65%) were of inflammation grade 2 or above, and 16 (34.78%) were of fibrosis stage 2 or above.Peripheral CD4+ CD25+ CD127low/-Treg level was negatively correlated with inflammation and fibrosis in HBV carriers (r =-0.343 and-0.452,P < 0.05).Conclusion CD4 + CD25 + CD127low/-Treg may be associated with the chronicity of HBV infection and the degree of liver damage.

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of the free fibula composite tissue flap transplantation to repair the first metatarsal bone with soft tissue defect on foot. Methods From August, 2008 to August, 2013, 6 patients with the first metatarsal bone and soft tissue defect on foot were treated with transplantation of free fibula composite tissue flap. The causes: 2 cases in traffic accident injury, 4 cases in machine injury;3 cases with traumatic defect, and septic defect in 3 patients.Of the 6 cases, the fibular length with transplantation was 6 cm to 12 cm, and the flap area was 8 cm × 5 cm-18 cm × 16 cm;All the cases were followed-up in 3, 6, 12 months postoperatively to observe the fracture healing, and to assess injured limb function in 1 year postoperatively. Results All cases were followed up 12-24 months, and average of 14 months; All the flaps survived, and the metatarsal bone and fibula healing was good visibly in half a year, The surgery function were assessed according to Maryland's scale, and the excellent were 2 and the good were 4.Conclusion The transplantation of free fibula composite tissue flap to repair the first metatarsal bone with soft tissue defect on foot is a safe and effective strategy, and it has the advantages such as covering the wound at foot approvingly, one-time rebuild repair foot weight bearing area and the surrounding soft tissue defect, shorten the treatment cycle, for small area damage in donor area, and the function postoperative is good, etc.

Objective To explore the clinical effect of anteromedial thigh perforator flap for repairing soft tissue defect in lower extremity. Methods From January 2009 to December 2012,12 patients with soft tissue defect of lower extremity were treated with free anteromedial thigh perforator flap.Among them, there were 5 cases of wound in front of tibia,4 cases of dorsal foot wound,3 cases of heel wound;the wound size was 3.0 cm ×3.5 cm-7.0 cm × 9.5 cm;3 cases were repaired with free perforator flap of descending genicular artery,2 cases with free anteromedial thigh perforator flap, and 7 cases with medial vastus muscle perforator flap. Results All the transplants survived.Among them,1 case of anteromedial thigh perforator flap and 1 case of descending genicular artery perforator flap appeared vascular crisis postoperative. After anticoagulation and antispasmodic treatment aggressively, the flaps survived. One case of descending genicular artery perforator flap necrosis in edge, and then were cured by changing dressing.Twelve cases were followed up 6-12 months after operation (average 8.6 months),and the texture of flaps were good, the appearance appropriate ;7 sensation of 5 free flaps after nerve anastomosis came back to S; the donor sites in all cases were sutured directly and healed, leaving only the linear scar, and no effect on function. Conclusion The anatomy of anteromedial thigh perforator flap is constant, and the operation is convenient. The clinical result of repairing soft tissue defect of lower extremity is satisfying.
