Chinese Journal of Urology 2014;(7):543-546
Objective To investigate the expression of p 120-catenin in human bladder cell line BIU-87 and T24.And to explore the effect of down-regulation of p120-catenin on proliferation, invasion and adhesion of BIU-87 cell line. Methods The study was from Aug .2010 to May.2011.Real-time RT-PCR and Western blot were used to examine the expression of p 120-catenin in human bladder cell line BIU-87 and T24.There were three study groups:non-transfected group , the group transfected with p 120-catenin siRNA and the group transfected with control siRNA .p120-catenin siRNA was used to decrease the expression of p120-catenin.MTT assay and colony formation assay were used to study the BIU-87 cell growth and cell pro-liferation.The invasion of BIU-87 cells was measured by Transwell chamber assay .Cell adhesion artificial re-constituted basement membrane assay was used to examine the change of BIU-87 cell adhesion capacity . Results In both BIU-87 and T24 cells there were the expressions of p 120-catenin.But the expression in BIU-87 cells (0.11±0.39) was more than that in T24 cells (0.48±0.17).The decreased of p120-catenin ex-pression could enhance the proliferation (182.7±13.4%) and the invasiveness (217.5±15.9) and decrease the adhesion capacity (57.3±6.4%) of BIU-87 cells. Conclusions There is higher expression level of p120-catenin in lower-grade malignant bladder cancer cells .The down-regulation of p120-catenin promotes the bladder cancer proliferation and invasiveness of bladder carcinoma cells , and inhibited the bladder canc-er cell adhesion .
2.Doppler ultrasound monitoring of complications and callus blood supply at distraction site during distraction osteogenesis
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;19(20):3226-3230
BACKGROUND:Evaluation of the newly formed bone at the distraction site by the imaging technologies is the cornerstone for terminating the limb lengthening successfuly. In the early stages of the distraction, the X-ray cannot detect any evidence of new bone formation within the distraction sites, whereas ultrasound can acquire wealth information about new bone and surrounding soft tissues. OBJECTIVE: To explore the application value of Doppler ultrasound in the evaluation of limb lengthening in order to promote its clinical application. METHODS: A computer-based search was performed on the CNKI database and PubMed database for articles related to ultrasound in the evaluation of limb lengthening published from January 1989to October 2014. The keywords of distraction osteogenesis, ultrasonography, external fixation, fracture healing in English and Chinese were used to search the articles by title and abstract. Finaly, a total of 24 articles were included to review. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Ultrasound is an effective method to evaluate the limb lengthening in early stage. It can not only detect the formation and maturation of the new calus, but also can evaluate the forming speed and the quality of the new cals. Moreover, ultrasound can be used to evaluate the situation of the soft tissue near the distraction site. Complications associated with the limb lengthening can be observed timely by the ultrasound. Ultrasound is of great significance in the evaluation of distraction osteogenesis.
3.Advances in imaging research of age -related macular degeneration
International Eye Science 2017;17(10):1856-1858
Age-related macular degeneration ( AMD ) is the main cause of blindness in the people older than 50 years old. In recent years, following the improvement of imaging techniques in ophthalmology, the pathogenesis of the disease, the level of diagnosis and efficacy evaluation ability greatly improved. In this paper, we reviewed and discussed the recent advancement on imaging research of age-relate d macular degeneration.

Clinical Medicine of China 2013;29(z1):23-25
Objective To investigate the regulating function of p120-catenin (p120ctn) on proliferation and invasion of human bladder cancer cell T24.Methods Special siRNA was used to silence the expression of p120ctn in T24 cells.MTT assay was used to examine the T24 cell growth rate. The invasion of T24 cells and the control cells were measured by transwell chamber assay. Results The silencing of p120ctn could improve the proliferation and the invasiveness of T24 tumor cells.Transwell chamber assay showed that the in vitro invasion function of T24 cells was significant increase after p120ctn-siRNA.Conclusion p120ctn inhibited the bladder cancer proliferation and invasiveness of bladder carcinoma cells.

Microbiology 1992;0(06):-
An actinomycete strain P-13, with antimicrobial activity against muskmelon bacterial spot pathogens, was isolated from the muskmelon rhizosphere soil samples in Xinjiang. The strain P-13 was identified as Streptomyces rochei based on morphological, physiological characteristics and 16S rRNA sequence analysis. The agar diffusion bioassay showed that the diameter of inhibition zone against Acidovorax avenae subsp. citrull BFB and Pseudomonas syringae pv. Lachrymans P4 was above 19 mm and 17 mm, respectively. The antimicrobial substances obtained from strain P-13 were demonstrated to be alkaline and water-soluble compounds according to paper chromatogram analysis and exocellular metabolites. Furthermore, it was stable to be treated by 100?C for 10 min, pH 6 for 6 h, or ultraviolet treatment for 7 h. Moreover, it was insoluble in organic solvents, such as petroleum benzine, diethyl ether, and acetic ether.

Objective:To study the direct effects of gradient concentration inteiferon-a(IFN-a) on lymphoma cells line Daudi and Jur-kat and a group of 15 cases refractory lymphoma. Methods: The effects of IFN-a on the growth of tumor cells were assayed by MTT, apoptosis were measured by flow cytometty, TUNEL and electron-microscope, 15 refractory lymphoma cases were treated by local injection of IFN-a combination chemotherapy. Results: Low-dose IFN-a did not have any significant effects on growth of Daudi and Jurkat cells, high-dose IFN-a (10 000U/ml) not only have significant anti-proliferative effects with dependence of time and dosage but also can induce apoptosis on both Daudi and Jurkat cells. 5 patients achieved a complete remission and 7 patients achieved a partial remission, the overall response rate was 80% .Conclusion:IFN-a( 10 000 U/ml) had significant anti-proliferative effects and inducing apoptosis on lymphoma cells.Local injection of IFN-a is one of effective therapy on refractory lymphoma.
