Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(11):-
Objective: To compare the expression levels of FOXP3 mRNA in the peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC) of hepatitis B patients and healthy persons. Methods: Real-time fluorescence relative quantitative RT-PCR was used to determine the FOXP3 mRNA levels in the PBMCs from 25 patients with chronic hepatitis B and 11 healthy subjects. Results:The FOXP3 mRNA levels were significantly higher in the hepatitis B patients than in the normal subjects(P0.05).Conclusion: The high expression of FOXP3 might be an important factor for the persistence of HBV infection.
3.Functional and appearance improvement of a new modified neck dissection with cervical sensory nerve preservation in thyroid papillary carcinoma treatment
China Oncology 2016;26(12):1037-1040
Thyroid papillary carcinoma harbors higher rate of lymph node metastasis, so neck dissection is an important part of the treatment. Due to better prognosis, attention to postoperative function and appearance of the patients increased. Low-collar incision with cervical sensory nerve plexus preservation modiifed neck dissection can improve appearance and function in postoperative patients and is gradually applied in clinic. This review mainly examines the thoroughness and safety of this new neck dissection in thyroid papillary carcinoma patients.

Results The linear range of the method was 0.5-10.0 ?g/ml and the correlation coefficient was 0.999 8. The RSD for the test accuracy and variation of repeat tests within one day or between the different days was

BACKGROUND: The selection of carrier plays an essential role in the research of applying tissue-engineering to fix the peripheral nerves. An ideal carrier would be one that is similar to extracellular matrix and that it has biocompatibility with in vivo cells.OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the biocompatibility of hippocampal neural stem cells with collagen and gelatin sponge in vitro and to probe into the feasibility of using the materials as biomaterial scaffold in peripheral nerve tissue engineering.DESIGN: A randomized and controlled trial.SETTING: Department of Otorhinolaryngology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University; Department of Anatomy of the School of Basic Medical Sciences of Zhengzhou University.MATERIALS: The experiment was carried out from July to December 2005 at the Laboratory of Neurobiology of the Department of Anatomy of the School College of Basic Medical Sciences of Zhengzhou University.Twelve New born (< 24 hours) clean grade guinea pigs of either gender with a body mass of 50-70 g, were provided by the Experimental Animals Center of Zhengzhou University School of Medicine.METHODS: The new born (< 24 hours) guinea pigs were anesthetized intraperitoneally with 10 g/L chloral hydrate and sterilized in 0.75 volume fraction of alcohol. Hippocampal tissue was resected from the brain under a surgical microscope. Hippocampus neural stem cells were cultured in vitro. The cultured cells of two generations were suspended at a density of 1 ×1010L-1 and respectively combined with collagen and gelatin sponge. The number of cells was counted and histological changes were observed under an inverted phase microscope and scanning electron microscope after 7 days, and the adhesion rate of the two materials to the cells were measured.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: ①Growth of the neural stem cells and their adhesion to the collagen and gelatin sponge were observed and the total number of the cells and adhesion rate with carrier were measured. ②The morphological changes of differentiation cells by immunocytochemical staining.RESULTS: ①Hippocampus neural stem cells could grew on the collagen and gelatin sponge and attached to them gradually. The adsorption rate of collagen was higher than thai of gelatin sponge (37.17 % and 14.87 %,x2=4.819,P < 0.05). ② There was no significant difference in the total number of the cells in the control group, collagen group and gelatin sponge group [(53.17±3.5)×104,(53.25±2.6)×104, (52.04±4.05)×104,F=0.233,P > 0.05].CONCLUSION: Two biomaterials (collagen and glutin sponge), especially collagen, have good biocompatibility with hippocampus neural stem cells from the guinea pigs and can be used safely as scaffold materials in peripheral nerve tissue engineering.

OBJECTIVE To reduce the incidence of nosocomial infection by standardized packaging material and model. METHODS The packaging material and model were selected according to the different sterilizations. And the qualfication rate of sterilization and warranty period of standardized instruments were detected regularly. RESULTS The quality of sterilizations was effectively guaranteed by conducting control measures. CONCLUSIONS The nosocomial infection rate is effectively prevented by standardized packaging material and model.

Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2015;33(1):42-46
Background Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) causes blindness due to retinal vasculopathy caused by abnormal oxygen dynamics.Studies have clarified the pivotal role of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in the development of ROP,while the studies on the role of VEGF receptor (VEGFR) in ROP are fewer. Objective This study was to evaluate the relationship between the expressions of VEGFR-1 and VEGFR-2 in retina and post-birth time in the mice with oxygen-induced retinopathy (OIR).Methods Sixty 7-day-old (P7) SPF C57BL/6J mice together with lactating female mice were fed in the environment with (75±2)% oxygen concentration for 5 days and then returned to normal air to establish OIR models, and other 60 matched mice were kept in normal air environment as the control group. At P8,P11,P12,P13,P14,and P17,both eyes of each mouse were enucleated to prepare the retinal sections.Retinal blood vessels were examined by hematoxylin and eosin stain under the light microscope.Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR and immunohistochemistry were used to detect the expressions of VEGFR1 mRNA and VEGFR2 mRNA and their proteins in mouse retinas, respectively. The use and care of the animals complied with the Regulations for the Administration of Affair Concerning Experimental Animals by State Science and Technology Commission. Results Many vascular endothelial cell nucleus broke through the internal limiting membrane were seen with disorganized cell proliferation under the internal limiting membrane and retinal neovascularization bud in the P13,P14 and P18 mice in the OIR group, but no similar manifestation was found in the mice of the normal control group. The relative expression values of VEGFR-1 mRNA in retinas were significantly higher only in P12,P13,P14 and P18 mice in the OIR group than those in the normal control group (P=0.046,0.000,0.000,0.042),but the expression values of VEGFR-2 mRNA were all increased in the retinas of P8,P11,P12,P13,P14 and P18 mice in the OIR group, showing significant differences in comparison with the normal control group (all at P=0.000).No considerable difference was found in the expression level of VEGFR-1 protein in P8,P11,P12,P13,P14 and P18 mice between the two groups (M=50.00,36.00,41.00,31.00,28.00,36.00,all at P> 0.05).The expression levels of VEGFR-2 protein in retinas of P8 and P11 were close between the two groups (all at P>0.05).Gradually attenuated expressions were seen in VEGFR-2 protein in P12,P13 mice of the normal control group, however, the expressions were enhanced in the OIR group, with significant differences between the two groups (all at P<0.01).Enhanced expressions of VEGFR-2 protein were found in P14 mice in both groups, but stronger expressions were in the OIR group (P<0.01).The positive response of the expression of VEGFR-2 protein was weaker in P18 mice in the normal control group but peaked in the OIR group, showing significant difference between them (M=20.11,P<0.01).Conclusions VEGFR participates in the neovascularization of OIR mouse, and the effect of VEGFR-2 is stronger than that of VEGFR-1 in the development of OIR neovascularization.
