Objective To explore the effect of minimally invasive transpedicular bone grafting additional ver -tebral pedicle screw fixation in the treatment of thoracolumbar fracture .Methods 60 patients with thoracolumbar fracture were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group ,30 cases in each group .The control group received traditional open inter vertebral four nail pedicle screw fixation combined with posterolateral bone graft fusion for treatment while the observation group was treated by minimally invasive transpedicular bone grafting addi -tional vertebral pedicle screw fixation ,to analyze the clinical effects .Results The imaging parameters of postopera-tion[the sagittal index(1.9 ±7.1)°,Cobb's angle(4.2 ±3.5)°,change of vertebral body height (90.2 ±6.5)%]in the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group (t=6.78,6.80,7.02,all P<0.05). The imaging parameters 3 months after operation[the sagittal index(4.9 ±3.2)°,Cobb's angle(7.0 ±2.7)°,change of vertebral body height (87.6 ±4.1)%] in the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group(t=6.78,6.80,7.02,all P<0.05).The operation time, incision length, bleeding volume, postoperative drain-age,postoperative hospital stay of the observation group were (141.9 ±14.2)min,(10.8 ±1.7)cm,(105.7 ±12.3)mL, (5.6 ±4.1)mL,(6.6 ±1.1)d,respectively,which were significantly better than those of the control group (t=7.72,7.89,5.68,all P<0.05).Conclusion Minimally invasive transpedicular bone grafting additional vertebral pedicle screw fixation has a significant effect in the treatment of thoracolumbar fractures ,which is safe and reliable .

This survey included 59 secondary researches of traditional pharmaceutical patent literatures. The analysis was made on statistical indicator of the amount of annual papers, authors, institutions, published journals and re-search contents. The survey revealed that in the field of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), the number of sec-ondary research of patent literature was on the increase, and the degree of concern of TCM patent was far more than others. This survey not only assisted the understanding of current condition of TCM patent literatures, but also held its development trend in order to apply it in the studies.

The UK Ebola-countering Operation in Sierra Leone from September 2014 to November 2015 called Operation Gritrock and its countermeasures were briefly introduced , such as the national strategy , aero-maritime deployment , self medical support , base-oriented training and international cooperation .A comparative analysis was made of operations of the same type between the UK and China in terms of mission-orientation, command and control , deployment timeline , past experience, deployment routes, logistics and assistance effects.Four implications for China′s military function construction in future international disaster relief operations were also summarized at the strategic , operational and tactical levels .

Objective To explore the clinical effects of sequential flap of thigh perforator for closure of the anterolateral thigh free flap donor site. Methods From March,2014 to May,2015,8 consecutive patients underwent elective anterolateral thigh free flap reconstruction for limb soft tissue defect. To design a sequential flap of thigh perforator to achieve primary closure of the anterolateral thigh free flap donor site. The area of anterolateral thigh free flap ranged from 9.0 cm×6.0 cm to 20.0 cm×1 1.0 cm,respectively. The area of thigh perforator flap ranged from 7.0 cm×3.0 cm to 12.0 cm×7.0 cm.Results All flaps healed uneventfully.Distal skin flap necrosis appeared in 1 flap which was healed after local transposition flap. All the patients were followed up for 1 to 6 months, with mean time of 4 months. The color, texture and appearance of flaps were satisfactory. Conclusion Sequential flap of thigh perforator, with reliable blood supply and constant position, represents an ideal model to close the anterolateral thigh free flap donor site of small defect.

Foodborne pathogens make much difference to food safety, and troops are also at risk of infection during military operations and daily lives,so there is an urgent need for highly sensitive and rapid detection technologies. In recent years, with the continuous development of clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats(CRISPR)technology, the CRISPR-Cas system with trans-cutting activity has received increasing attention. This paper outlines the basic principles of CRISPR-Cas12a-based detection technology and conventional signal readout technologies. It also analyzes the current status and developmentsof CRISPR-Cas12a in detecting foodborne pathogenic bacteria. The challenges to and prospects of this technology are also described.

Malnutrition, as an independent predictor of incidence and mortality in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF), has a serious impact on the treatment effect of patients. Conducting nutritional risk assessment and providing nutritional interventions for CHF patients can effectively improve their quality of life. On the basis of elaborating on the risk factors for malnutrition in CHF patients, this paper reviews the assessment tools for malnutrition in CHF patients, aiming to promote the localization of malnutrition assessment tools and the research and clinical application of malnutrition specific assessment tools, making nutrition assessment a routine part of overall health assessment for CHF patients.

Objective To evaluate the effects of intermittent hypoxia-reoxygenation(IHR)on body weight, diet and water intake, circulating metabolites, and responses to central leptin injection in a rat model of diet-induced obesity(DIO).Methods Rat models of DIO established by 12-week high-fat diet(HFD)feeding were randomized into normoxia group(n=15),intermittent hypoxia group(6%O2,30 cycles/h,8 h/day for 4 weeks;n=15),and IHR group(2 weeks of intermittent hypoxia followed by 2 weeks of reoxygenation;n=15).Body weight, diet and water intake of the rats were recorded, and circulating leptin,IL-6,and Ang-Ⅱ levels were detected. After IHR treatment, the rats received intracerebroventricular injection of 4 μg leptin, and the hypothalamus and liver were taken 1 h later for detecting POMC,FRA-1 and FRA-2 expressions in the hypothalamus using immunohistochemistry,POMC,pSTAT3 and LepR expressions in the hypothalamus using Western blotting, and LepR mRNA expression in the hypothalamus and liver using RT-PCR.Results The rats in intermittent hypoxia group showed significantly increased weight gain, food intake and elevated systemic inflammatory cytokine levels.Intermittent hypoxia obviously inhibited the expression of POMC,lowered the expressions of FRA-1 and pSTAT3,reduced the responsiveness of the rats to exogenous leptin, and downregulated the mRNA and protein expression of LepR.Two weeks of reoxygenation treatment obviously reduced intermittent hypoxia-induced weight gain and metabolic disorder and improved leptin sensitivity of the rats. Conclusion Prolonged intermittent hypoxia impairs hypothalamic leptin signaling by downregulating LepR expression to promote weight gain in obese rats, which can be improved by reoxygenation treatment.

This is a report of a complex defects in the right upper extremity treated in the Department of Hand and Microsurgery, 521 Hospital of Norinco Group, in October 2016. The patient received multi-transfers of flaps for one-stage reconstruction, including a double-paddled ALTPF and a compound flap of the great toe and the second toe. Vascular compromises occurred in flaps on the 2nd day after surgery. All the flaps were rescued and survived completely after surgical exploration. Followed-up at 3 year after surgery showed that the appearance and function of the affected limb recovered well. The flexion and extension of elbow and wrist were normal. The pinch function of the reconstructed thumb and index finger recovered well.
