4.Resonance Characteristics of Pre-and Post -UPPP Operation in Patients with OSAHS

Objective To study the influence of UPPP on resonance characteristics of four resonance cavity in patients with OSAHS .Methods Using multi-channel voice analysis system to test the cavity resonance character-istics and energy distribution of 36 OSAHS patients (including pre - and post -operative) and 36 normal males when they speak /a:/.The frequency spectrum was 4 000Hz(FR1 ,FR2 ,FR3 ,FR4 ) .Results FR2 energy values of the head cavity and mouth cavity of OSAHS patients heighten significantly after UPPP (P<0 .05);FR1 energy val-ues of head ,mouth and thoracic cavity were higher than that of in normal males'after UPPP(P<0 .05) .FR2 ,FR3 , FR4 energy values of head cavity ,FR2 ,FR3 energy values of mouth cavity ,FR2 energy values of thoracic cavity were lower than those of in normal males'after UPPP(P<0 .05) .Conclusion UPPP surgery removes the obstruction of the upper airway of OSAHS patients and changes the morphology of the pharynx ,thas changes the resonance charac-teristics of the head cavity and oral .
5.Analysis of differentially expressed genes in placental tissues of early-onset severe preeclampsia patients

Objective To explore the differentially expressed genes (DEG) involved in the pathogenesis of preeclampsia(PE). Methods The gene expression profiles of placental tissues from 7 severe PE patients and 7 preterm controls from June to December 2012 were assessed using microarray. Gene ontology(GO)enrichment analysis and pathway analysis were performed to explore the genes and pathways involved in the pathogenesis of PE. Four DEG involved in these biological processes were further verified by quantitative real-time PCR. Results A total of 308 transcripts were significantly differentially expressed. Of these DEG,81 genes(LEPTIN,PAPPA2,CRH,PLIN2,INHA,BCL6,FLT1,CCR7,etc)were up-regulated,and 227 genes(CXCL12,CXCL9,etc)were down-regulated. GO enrichment analysis indicated that the top 3 GO molecular functions were immune response(GO: 0006955,17 DEG),positive regulation of apoptosis(GO: 0043065,11 DEG)and inflammatory response(GO: 0006954,11 DEG). Pathway analysis showed that the top 3 pathways were cell adhesion molecules(11 DEG),cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction(11 DEG),chemokine signaling pathway(8 DEG). Many genes(LEP,FLT1,TFRC,SH3PXD2A, CYP11A1,SEPP1,and so on)involved in oxidative stress were found to be significantly changed. Of these genes,LEP were significantly up-regulated with a fold change of 61.5. The fold changes of FLT1, SH3PXD2A,SEPP1,CYP11A1,TFRC were 8.6,2.2,-2.0,2.7 and-2.8. Four DEG involved in oxidative stress were further verified by quantitative real-time PCR. Conclusions A DEG signature was identified in severe preeclampsia placentas compared with normal controls. The DEG mainly involved in the molecular mechanisms of immune response,oxidative stress and inflammatory response,and were closely associated with the pathogenesis of PE.
6.Application of CDP technology in protecting data in libraries

After the meaning, features and application models of CDP technology were described, its application in protecting data in libraries was studied with Medical Library of Chinese PLA as an example, showing that CDP technology can effectively protect the data, improve their safety, and insure the stable operation of professional sys-tems in Medical Library of Chinese PLA.
7.Short segment fixation in combination of pedicle screw in injured vertebrae for thoracolumbar fractures

Objective To assess the clinical outcome of short segment fixation in combination of pedicle screw in injured vertebrae for thoracolumbar fractures. Methods Twenty-one cases of thoracolumbar fractures received short segment fixation combined with pedicle screw in injured vertebrae surgery. The protruding after angle correction and vertebral body height recovery situation were measured by X-ray film before and after surgery. Results All the patients were followed up for 6~20 months,achieved good reduction effect. The imaging measure-ment results found that before the operation Cobb’s angle was (26. 4 ± 7. 3),fracture fanterior flange height was (56. 1 ± 12. 5)%. Com-pared with after the operation and the end of follow-up of Cobb’ s and fracture fanterior flange height,the difference had statistical significance (P<0. 05). But between after the operation and the end of the follow-up of Cobb’s and fracture fanterior flange height,the difference had no statistical significance (P>0. 05). Conclusion Short segment fixation in combination of pedicle screw in injured vertebrae can restore the height of vetebra,rectify protrusion deformity,which is an effective method for thoracolumbar fracture.
8.MOOC and its application in medical library

10.The display of the artery located at anterolateral region next to pancreatic head on enhanced CT and its clinical significance

Objective To observe the display and source of the artery located at anterolateral region next to pancreatic head on en-hanced CT,and to investigate its clinical value.Methods Imaging data of 200 consecutive patients who underwent abdominal CT scan were collected,and their CT images were analyzed.The reconstructed images were obtained at a post-processing workstation. After reconstruction,the display rate,source and branches of the artery located at anterolateral region next to pancreatic head were analyzed,and the diameters of these vessels were measured.Results The arterial vessel located at anterolateral region next to pan-creatic head was found on axial CT image in arterial phase with a display rate of 100%.By using post-reconstruction images,most vessels were gastroduodenal artery with mean diameter of 0.33 cm± 0.05 cm,and other ones were pancreaticoduodenal artery or right gastroomental artery.Conclusion The artery located at anterolateral region next to pancreatic head can be found on axial ab-dominal CT image in the arterial phase.Most vessels are gastroduodenal artery with a fixed position and traveling.
