1.Anticancer effect and mechanism of miR-139
Journal of International Oncology 2016;43(10):765-768
MicroRNA (miRNA)is closely related to the occurrence and development of neoplasms. miR-139 is a tumor-suppressive miRNA and its expression is decreased in a variety of tumor tissues, while over-expression of miR-139 can inhibit cancer cell proliferation, migration, invasion and induce cell apoptosis by suppressing the expression of multiple kinds of target genes.Therefore,miR-139 has potential applications in tumor diagnosis, treatment and prognosis assessment.

China Pharmacy 1991;0(05):-
OBJECTIVE: To study the discharge medication of tuberculosis inpatients of our hospital for the references of clinical medication. METHODS: The statistics on the quantity of drugs and the amount of money in discharge medication of the tuberculosis patients in our hospital in 2004 was conducted by defined daily dose method, and medication frequency and daily medication sum were computed and the associated data were analyzed as well. RESULTS: The quantity of drugs and the amount of money of the tuberculosis inpatients with medical insurance in discharge medication were less than those without. In addition to first class antituberculosis drugs, the medication frequencies of pasiniazide, rifapentine, ofloxacin and prothionamide were also high;4 agents consisted combined regimen was the chief form of drug combination;Liver protectants were the chief adjunctive therapy. CONCLUSIONS: Medical insurance policy has significant effect on during of administration and consumption sum in discharge medication. Attention should be paid to drug resistance and dependence in the discharge medication of tuberculosis patients.

OBJECTIVE:To establish the quality standard of Fructus arctii concentrated granules. METHODS:TLC was con-ducted for the qualitative identification and HPLC was used for the content determination of arctiin in F. arctii concentrated gran-ules. The determination was performed on Dionex C18 column with mobile phase consisted of methanol-water(40∶60,V/V) at the flow rate of 1.0 ml/min. The detection wavelength was set at 280 nm,and the column temperature was 30 ℃. The samples size was 10 μl. RESULTS:TLC spectrum showed that the spots of F. arctii concentrated granules and arctiin reference medicinal material had the same color;the linear range of arctiin was 0.5-12.5 μg(r=0.999 8)with the average recovery of 98.41%(RSD=0.81%, n=9). The RSDs of precision, stability, repeatability tests were no more than 1.0%. CONCLUSIONS:The method is feasible and reproducible, and can effectively control the quality of F. arctii concentrated granules.

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2007;42(2):166-170
To search for bioactive compounds from the flower disc of Helianthus annuus L.,chromatography was used to isolate and purify the chemical constituents, their structures were identified by spectral analysis, MTT method was applied to investigate their cytotoxic activities, some compounds showed moderate cytotoxic activities on SF-268, MCF-7 and HepG2 cell lines. Eleven compounds were obtained from the flower disc of H. annuus, and identified as ent-kaurane-2o, 16α-diol ( 1 ) and entkaurane-15α, 16α-epoxy-17-al-19-oic acid (2), and nine known diterpenes, ent-kaurane-16β-ol (3),phyllocladan-16β-ol (4) , ent-atisan-16α-ol ( 5 ) , grandifloric acid ( 6 ) , angeloylgrandifloric acid ( 7 ) ,ent-kaurane-16-en-19-oic acid (8), ent-kaurane-17-hydroxy-15-en-19-oic acid (9), ent-kaurane-16β,17-dihydroxy-19-oic acid (10), and ciliaric acid (11). Compounds 1 and 2 are new compounds, some compounds showed cytotoxic activities on SF-268, MCF-7 and HepG2 cell lines.

International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2021;29(4):307-313
The brain-gut axis is an important pathway for the interaction between the central nervous system and the gastrointestinal tract. Ischemic stroke can promote the imbalance and displacement of intestinal flora, and the intestinal flora and its metabolites in turn can affect the occurrence, development and outcome of ischemic stroke. This article reviews the related literature on ischemic stroke and intestinal flora, in order to review the relationship between the two and related mechanisms, and to prospect the stroke treatment of targeting intestinal flora.

Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2016;23(5):87-90
ObjectiveTo establish an HPLC analytic method for amygdalin inKuxingrenFormula Granules and HPLC characteristic chromatogram.MethodsRP-HPLC method was adopted. The determination was performed on Dionex C18 column (4.6 mm×250 mm, 5μm) with acetonitrile-0.1% phosphoric acid solution (8:92) at the flow rate of 0.6 mL/min. The detection wavelength was set at 207 nm and sample size was 10μL. The column temperature was 30℃. The peak of amygdalin was set as refernce, and 10 batches of samples were analyzed. TCM Chromatogram Fingerprint Similarity Evaluation System (2004 A) was adopted to evaluate similatity. Results The linear equation of amygdalin wasY=6.176×10-7X?3.058×10-3, with a good linear relationship in the range of 0.122 5–1.225μg (r= 0.999 8). The average recovery rate was 98.75% (RSD=1.30%). There were 6 common peaks in the characteristic chromatogram ofKuxingrenFormula Granules, and the similarity of 10 batches of samples was higher than 0.981. ConclusionThe HPLC method is simple, accurate and reproducible, which can be used for the quality control of Kuxingren Granules.

Objective: To study the effects of Ruanmailing Oral Liquid, a compound traditional Chinese herbal medicine, on spatial learning and memory ability and expression of apurinic/apyrimidinic endonuclease/redox factor-1 (APE/Ref-1) in hippocampal CA1 region in rats with experimental vascular dementia (VaD). Methods: VaD was induced in rats by permanent occlusion of bilateral common carotid arteries. Forty-five VaD rats were randomly divided into untreated group, nimodipine group, low-dose Ruanmailing group and high-dose Ruanmailing group. Another 15 rats underwent a sham operation consisting of similar skin incision and manipulation but without occlusion of carotid arteries. From the next day after occlusion, the rats were intragastrically administered with normal saline, nimodipine suspension or Ruanmailing Oral Liquid respectively for 30 days. Morris water maze experiment was adopted to test learning and memory of rats in each group. Expression of APE/Ref-1 protein in the hippocampal CA1 region was measured by immunohistochemical method. Results: Escape latency was significantly shortened and number of entries in the target area of rats was significantly increased in the high-dose Ruanmailing group as compared with those in the untreated group (P<0.01). Compared with the untreated group, count of APE/Ref-1 positive cells was significantly increased in the hippocampal CA1 region in the high- and low-dose Ruanmailing groups (P<0.01). Compared with the low-dose group and the nimodipine group, the count of APE/Ref-1 positive cells was remarkably increased in the hippocampal CA1 region in rats of the high-dose Ruanmailing group (P<0.01). There was no statistical difference between the low-dose Ruanmailing group and the nimodipine group. Conclusion: Ruanmailing Oral Liquid can improve the learning and memory ability and enhance the lowered expression level of APE/Ref-1 in the hippocampal CA1 region of rats with VaD.
