Objective To compare the differences of temperature results between mercury thermometer and infrared thermometer. Methods The temperature of three parts was recorded respectively by mercury thermometer in axilla and infrared thermometer in forehead and earlobe on the same patient, totally 98 patients were recorded in ICU. Results There was statistical difference of three parts' temperature in 98 cases. It could be assumed that axilla temperature ＞ earlobe temperature ＞ forehead temperature;There was no statistical difference of three parts' temperature in 17 cases with temperature 38.0～38.9 ℃ by mercury thermometer, but the difference had clinical significance. It could be assumed that axilla temperature ＞ earlobe temperature ＞ forehead temperature; There was statistical difference of three parts' temperature in 30 cases with temperature at 37.0～37.9 ℃ by mercury thermometer. It could be assumed that axilla temperature ＞ earlobe temperature ＞ forehead temperature. There was no statistical difference of three parts'temperature in 51 cases with temperature at 35.0～36.9 ℃ by mercury thermometer. Conclusions Temperature of the patients with normal axilla temperature could be monitored by infrared thermometer instead of mercury thermometer,but it is not applicable to the patients with fever.

Objective To investigate the effects of Duyiwei capsule combined with traditional bone setting manipulation treatment of senile femoral intertrochanteric fracture clinical effect, for clinical elderly femoral intertrochanteric fracture clinical treatment in patients with reference. Methods 86 elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture in Yuyao Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 2014 to May 2015 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, 43 cases in each group. The control group using tibial tubercle traction, after traction with the traction arch to maintain. The observation group was treated by TCM manipulation combined with Duyiwei capsule. Continuous treatment for two weeks in two groups. The quality of life and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups after treatment score, pain score, fracture healing time, hospitalization time, Harris score, evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of manipulative reduction combined with Duyiwei capsule of senile intertrochanteric fracture clinical effect. Results Two groups of patients after 2 weeks of treatment, The quality of life score, the Harris score of the observation group was significantly higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), pain scores were significantly I control group, healing time and hospitalization time were significantly shorter than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The observation group excellent rate 90.7%was significantly higher than the control group 65.12%, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Duyiwei capsule combined with TCM manipulation for treatment of intertrochanteric fracture of femur in the elderly curative effect, effectively improve the patient's clinical experience, is suitable for the elderly femoral intertrochanteric fracture patients with a clinical treatment plan.

Objective:To investigate the possible interaction of Lp(a), and Lp(a) circulating immune complexes (CIC) 〔Lp(a)-CIC〕 level with triglyceride (TG). Methods:Plasma Lp(a), Lp(a)-CIC and LDL-CIC levels were determined by ELISAs in 232 patients with various dyslipidaemias, respectively. Results:Hypertriglyceridaemic patients exhibited the lowest plasma Lp(a) levels, while hypercholesterolaemic patients exhibited the highest. Patients with mixed hyperlipidaemia had intermediate serum Lp(a) concentrations, which were significantly lower than those in the controls. Interestingly, we also found that hypertriglyceridaemic patients exhibited the lowest plasma Lp(a)-CIC and LDL-CIC levels, while hypercholesterolaemic patients exhibited the highest. Borneol is a traditional Chinese medicine. In the past few years, many studies showed that borneol can improve the bioavailability of other drugs, promoting drugs to cross the blood-brain barrier, so the potential drug interactions between borneol and other medicines have attracted great attention, but the influence of borneol to CYP450 and its isoforms are rarely reported. In this research, male Wistar rats were orally administered by borneol for 7 days, then the mRNA and protein expression and the activities of CYP2D were detected, we also compared the pharmacokinetic parameters of CYP2D's specific substrate between control group and borneol group. The results show that borneol (33, 100 and 300 mg x kg(-1) x d(-1)) have no significant effect on CYP2D, while the activites of CYP2D increased 1.71, 1.97 and 2.89 times comparing to the control group. At the same time, borneol (300 mg x kg(-1) x d(-1)) caused the C(max) decreased 10.6% (P > 0.05), AUC(0-∞) decreased 27.5% (P < 0.01), CL/F increased 41.1% (P < 0.01), V(z)/F increased 23.1% (P > 0.05) of dextromethorphan. Our data provided that borneol speed up dextromethorphan's elimination in vivo. Since the activity of CYP2D can be induced by borneol, the metabolic interactions might happen when borneol and the substrate drug CYP2D are used together.

OBJECTIVE: To observe the effects of matrine on proliferation and apoptosis of human renal cell carcinoma cell line GRC-1 in vitro, and to explore its mechanism. METHODS: The human renal cell carcinoma cell line GRC-1 was treated with matrine of different concentrations for 24, 48, 72 and 96 h respectively. The MTT assay was used to evaluate the cytotoxic effects of matrine on GRC-1 cells. The transmission electron microscope and flow cytometry were utilized to observe and detect the apoptosis of GRC-1 cells induced by matrine. The expression levels of Bcl-2 and Bax proteins were evaluated by streptavidin-biotin-peroxidase method. RESULTS: The matrine of different concentrations all have cytotoxic effects on GRC-1 cells, with obvious dose- and time-dependent effects. The apoptosis induced by matrine was confirmed in GRC-1 cells. With intervention of matrine (1.5 g/L) for 12 h, the expression level of Bcl-2 in GRC-1 cells was decreased while the expression level of Bax was increased as compared with those in the untreated group. CONCLUSION: The proliferation-inhibiting effects of matrine on human renal cell carcinoma cell line GRC-1 may be related to down-regulating the ratio of Bcl-2/Bax protein expression and promoting the apoptosis.

Triptolide (TP) is a major active component in Tripterygium root, but its therapeutic window was very narrow due to its severe multi-organ toxicity. In this work, the effect of TP combined with glycyrrhetic acid (GA) on mRNA expression and activity of four cytochrome P450 (CYP) enzymes in rat liver was studied after intragastric administration of TP (0.05, 0.3 and 0.6 mg x kg(-1) x day(-1)) and TP (0.6 mg x kg(-1) x day(-1)) combined with GA (30 mg x kg(-1) x day(-1)) for 7 consecutive days. Compared with the control, the high dose of TP significantly up-regulated the mRNA expression levels of CYP2E1, 1A2, 3A1 and 2C11, the co-administration of TP and GA further up-regulated the mRNA expression levels of CYP3A1, 2C11 and 2E1 as compared with the high dose of TP. Meanwhile, TP at high dose and combined with GA significantly increased CYP3A-associated testosterone 6beta-hydroxylation activity (2.2-fold and 4.1-fold, respectively) as compared with the control. Because TP is mainly metabolized by CYP3A2 in male rats, the present work indicated that TP-induced increase of CYP3A activity might be an important reason for the rapidly metabolic clearance of TP in rat liver, and GA can reduce the hepatotoxicity of TP by promoting its hepatic metabolic clearance. Furthermore, the results also suggest that the drug interactions might be occurred when TP and GA were co-administered with other CYP3A substrate drug.

Objective To explore the radiosensitivity ofβ-elemene on Colo320 cells transplanted tumor in nude mice and its molecular mechanisms.Methods Colo320 cells transplanted tumor model was established by cell suspension inoculation in nude mice.Then the transplanted mice with 0.8-1.0 cm3 tumor were randomly divided into 4 groups:control,β-elemene (40 mg/kg),radiation (4 Gy),andβ-elemene (40 mg/kg)+ radiation (4 Gy) groups,with four to five mice in each.Tumor weight and morphology were observed in each group.In addition,the apoptosis of tumor cells was measured by TUNEL and the expression of Fas gene was detected by immunohistochemistry.Results The nude mice transplanted tumor model was successfully established.Compared with that in control and simple radiation groups,tumor weight was significantly decreased inβ-elemene combined with irradiation group (P <0.05).At the same time,the apoptosis rate and the expression of Fas gene in tumor cells were significantly increased (P <0 .0 5 )inβ-elemene combined with irradiation group compared with control and simple radiation groups. Conclusion β-elemene could enhance the radiosensitivity of Colo320 cells transplanted tumor in nude mice probably by inducing Fas-mediated apoptosis of tumor cells.

To study the effects of major components of Maijunan tablets, puerarin (Pue) and rhynchophylline (Rhy) on the transport of hydrochlorothiazide (Hct) Caco-2 cell monolayer model, the transport parameters of Hct, such as apparent permeability coefficient (P(app) (B --> A) and P(app) (A --> B)) and the ratio of P(app) (B --> A) versus P(app) (A --> B), were studied and compared when Hct was used solely and co-used with Pue and/or Rhy. The effects of drug concentrations, conveying times, P-glyprotein (P-gp) inhibitor verapamil and conveying Liq pH values on the transport of Hct in the above conditions were also investigated. The results indicated that the absorption of Hct in Caco-2 cell monolayer model could be a carrier-mediated active transport, along with the excretion action mediated by P-gp. Pue can decrease the excretion action of Hct mediated by P-gp, and Rhy had no significant effect on the transport of Hct. The co-use of Hct, Pue and Rhy enhanced the absorption of Hct. Meanwhile, conveying Liq pH value had significant influence on the transport of Hct. The absorption of Hct at pH 6.0 was higher than that at pH 7.4.

To study the effect of liquiritin (Liq) on the transport of strychnine (Str) in Caco-2 cell monolayer model, the transport parameters of Str, such as apparent permeability coefficient (P app (B-->A) and P app (A-->B)) and cumulative transport amount (TRcum), were determined and comparatively analyzed when Str was used solely and co-used with Liq. The effect of drug concentrations, conveying times, P-glycoprotein (P-gp) inhibitor verapamil and conveying liquor pH values on the transport of Str were also investigated. The results indicated that the absorption of Str in Caco-2 cell monolayer model was well and the passive transference was the main intestinal absorption mechanism of Str in the Caco-2 monolayer model, along with the excretion action mediated by P-gp. Liq enhanced the absorption of Str. Meanwhile, conveying liquor pH value had significant influence on the excretion transport of Str.

Objective To explore the effect of inferior hypothermy treatment on serum TNF and IL-6 in patients with severe cerebral trauma.Methods 46 patients were randomly divided into two groups:inferior hypothermy group(24 C88e8)and normal group(22 cases).There are the same basic treatments within the two groups,in the inferior hypothermy group we also sive them hypothermy treatment rectal temperature:32～34℃ which need to last for nearly 4～5 days,at the same time we give patients the lyric cocktail.the TNF,IL-6 and GCS grades on the lst and 14th day were tested.Results TNF and IL-6 as compared with normal group are higher than the inferior hypothermy group,the differences between the two groups are of statistical significance(P＜0.01).The difference of GCS grades between the two groups are of stafictical significance(P＜0.05).Conclusion The inferior hypothermy tbempy which inhibits TNF and IL-6 releasing after severe cerebral trauma and the following damages plays a very important role in the cerebral trauma therapy.
