World Science and Technology-Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(7):1372-1379
Chinese herbal prescription (CHP) is the main method and mean of clinical medication in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). The CHP efficacy is the summary of multi-herb function under the guidance of TCM theories. With the development of modern science and technology, the scientific and organic interpretation of scientific connotation of CHP efficacy is a difficult problem in TCM. In this paper, the modern research ideas and methods of CHP efficacy, which greatly enriched the modern research content of CHP efficacy as well as promoted its research and development, were discussed and summarized.

Objective To discuss the effect of different intension electrotherapy to rabbits'FERG,Methods Using the FERG as the target,to stimulate the TAIXI point with 0.2,0.8,2.0 and 4.0mA inrension eleetrotherapy, then observe the change of the rabbits'FERG during and after the stimulation. Results 0.8mA intension can lead to the delay of the FERG a-wave's latency obviously. The lower or higher.stimulation has little effect to the awave's latency. All kinds of stimulation to the b-wave's latency has little difference, but the effect to the amplitude has significant difference. While the stimulating intension below 2mA in 15 minutes, the b-wave's amplitude rise obviously with the intension's rising, but the amplitude will fall when the intension get to 4mA.Conclusion The effect of electrotherapy on the retina'function has osculation relationship with the electrotherapy intenmon, the best effect needs the most fitful intension of stimulation.

Objective To explore the current condition of psychological problems of patients in cardiology clinic. Methods A total of 347 patients in the cardiology clinic of Prof. HU Da-yi were screened by self-rating depression scale(SDS),Self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),Hamilton rating scale for depression(HRSD)and Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA). Results The rates of patients with somatic disease only or with psychological disorder only were 52.4%and 12.7%, the rate of somatic disease accompanied with psychological disorder was 27.7%. For the patients with psychological problems, there were 31 cases with depression(8.9%),62 cases with anxiety(17.9%),and 28 cases(8.1%) suffering from mixed depression and anxiety the diagnosis of cardiovascular disease, functional disease or digestive disease was always used by doctors for the patients with psychological problems only,as they always did not accept the diagnosis of psychological disorder. Conclusions It is very common that patients in cardiology clinic department suffered from psychological problems. The patients with psychological disorder only were easily misdiagnosed as somatic disease especially cardiovascular disease.

Objective Gene linkage would be processed in order to make sure if an autosomal dominant congenital hyperthyroidism family has genetic linking relationship with the known hyperthyroidism disease genes,TSHR or THRB.Methods Microsatellite marked gene linkage was done with the use of three microsatellite markers,D14S74,D3S2338 and D3S1266,whose chromosomal locations were very close to TSHR or THRB gene, and the results were analyzed by Genemapper 3.5 Software. Results LOD scores of the three markers were all less than 1,revealing that there were no linking relationships between TSHR or THRB gene and this hyperthyroidism family, further reflecting this family might have a new disease gene other than TSHR and THRB.Conclusion There might be new disease genes responsible for autosomal dominant congenital hyperthyroidism.
