Objective:To determine the relationship between brachia l artery blood pressure and radial artery blood pressure in children and whether blood pressure measured from the radial artery can replace blood pr essure measured from the brachial artery. Methods:Brachial and rad ial artery pressures in 105 children were measured using an electronic sphygmomanometer.Results:There was no significant difference between the average values of blood pressures of the brachial and radial arteries in the 105 children studied (P>0.05). Linear regression and correlation analyses showed that there was a positive linear correlation between the systolic pressure of the b rach ial artery and the radial artery in the 105 children, as well as a posit ive linear correlation between the diastolic pressures of the brachial and the radial arteries. Conclusion:Blood pressure values from the radial artery can completely replace blood pressure values from the brachial artery.

Effects of opiate receptor blocker-naloxone ( 5mg/kg) on somatosensory evoked potentials ( SEP ) in 6 cats was studied. Other 6 cats were treated with normal saline as control. Results showed that the amplitudes of SEP were significantly elevated after 0.5h of aaloxone infusion. The changes of SEP-CCTp or CCTmn were no significant. It was suggested that large dosage of naloxone can favorably improve the electrical activites of neuron in the centre nerve system.

Objective To investigate the plasma level of free radicals and antioxidative activity in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and relation to microvascular complication. Methods The concentration of erythrocyte lipoperoxides(LPO), plasma vitamin E(VE), plasma vitamin C(VC), plasma betacarotene(? CAR), whole blood glutathione(GSH) and the activity of erythrocyte superoxide dismutase(SOD), erythrocyte catalase (CAT), erythrocyte glutathione peroxidase(GSH PX) in 65 elderly patients with type 2 diabetes and 65 healthy patients were measured. Meanwhile, fasting glucose, 2 hours post meal glucose, glycated hemoglobin, fasting and post meal C peptide, triglycerides, cholesterol, urine albumin excretion rate, electromyogram were measured. Results Compared with the healthy patients, the average value of LPO(42 97?6 99)nmol/g and (31 59?7 44)nmol/g, VC (40 98?10 51)?mol/L and (52 23?10 51)?mol/L, VE (16 44?2 45)?mol/L and (23 04?5 38)?mol/L, ? CAR (1 19?0 23)?mol/L and (1 63?0 40)?mol/L and GSH(0 98?0 16 vs 1 25?0 20) in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes were significantly increased, while the activities of SOD(1712 44?157 04)U/L and (1 928 38?143 44)U/L, CAT(217 01?29 36)?g/g vs (264 40?63 55)?g/g, GSH PX(21 01?3 38)?10 -10 U/RBC vs (25 16?6 41)?10 -10 U/RBC were obviously decreased. OBJECTIVE: To improve the acknowledgement of clinician on granulomatous capillary hemangioma of the larynx. METHOD: Collect patients in our hospital who were treated with granulomatous capillary hemangioma of the larynx from 2006 to 2011 and the clinical data, treatment and follow-up consequence were retrospectively analyzed. RESULT: There are 10 cases of laryngeal granulomatous capillary. Eight patients with hoarseness as the chief complaint, in the eight patients three cases associated with foreign body sensation in the throat. One patient with hemoptysis as the main performance. The left one patient to hospital because of pharyngeal foreign body sensation associated with blood in the sputum. All were treated with surgery, there are several cases supplemented by CO2 laser treatment, so far no case of postoperative recurrence. CONCLUSION Granulomatous capillary hemangioma is a benign, vascular proliferation of the skin or mucosa, rather than ture tumor. Recurrence is rare if completely excised. The prognosis is encouraging.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of tinnitus retraining therapy (TRT) on anxiety , depression , and symptoms of sleep disorders in patients with chronic subjective tinnitus. Methods Eighty patients with chronic subjective tinnitus visiting The Affiliated Hospital of Hangzhou Normal University from January 2016 to December 2017 were recruited ,and were divided into an observation group and a control group through computer generated random numbers. Patients in the control group were given drug treatment only ,while those in the observation group received TRT in addition to drug treatment. Clinical efficacy was evaluated using Tinnitus Handicap Inventory (THI) , Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) ,Hamilton Depression Scale (SDS) ,and Hamilton Anxiety Scale (SAS ) for both groups. Results Patients in the observation group were associated with significantly lower scores of THI ,PSQI ,SAS and SDS ,compared with those in the control group 3 months after treatment (each P＜0.05). Furthermore ,the effectiveness rate was markedly higher (82.5% or 33 cases vs. 55.0% or 22 cases ,χ2＝7.040 ,P＜0.01) in the observation group than in the control group 6 months after treatment. Conclusion Tinnitus retraining therapy combined with conventional therapy can help to reduce the severity of tinnitus handicap ,ameliorate negative emotions such as anxiety and depression ,and improve sleep quality in patients with chronic subjective tinnitus.

Objective To investigate the value of heparin-binding protein(HBP) in predicting urosepsis after endoscopic lithotripsy for upper urinary tract stones.Methods From January to November 2018,635 cases of upper urinary tract stones treated by endoscopic lithotripsy in our hospital was analyzed.According to the 2014 edition Chinese Guidelines of the diagnosis and treatment of urosepsis,all patients were divided into two groups,the definite urosepsis group (n =53,8.3％) and the no urosepsis group (n =582,91.7％).The serum of HBP level was detected by fluorescence immunoassay technology.The serum of procalcitonin (PCT) level was detected by cyclic enhanced immunofluorescent assay.C-reactive protein (CRP) level was detected by automatic chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer.White blood cells (WBC) count was performed by hematology analyzer.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curves were constructed by SPSS 22 and MedCale,and areas under curves (AUC) were calculated and compared to illustrate the diagnostic power of HBP,PCT,CRP and WBC.The correlation between HBP and WBC was also significant (r =0.68,P ＜ 0.05).Results The level of HBP,PCT,CRP and WBC were significantly higher in the definite urosepsis group compared to the no urosepsis group.AUC of HBP,PCT,CRP and WBC were 0.930,0.878,0.727 and 0.617.When the cutoff of HBP,PCT,CRP and WBC were set as 51.5 ng/ml,0.41 ng/ml,64.2 mg/L and 11.7 × 109/L,the sensitivities were 89.2％,83.3％,83.5％ and 44.7％,and the specificity were 95.9％,75.6％,64.3％ and 77.1％,respectively.Conclusions The value of heparin-binding protein was superior to that of PCT,CRP and WBC in predicting urosepsis after endoscopic lithotripsy for upper urinary tract stones.Heparin-binding protein could be acted as a diagnostic marker for urosepsis.

Objective: To investigate the effects of nuclear factor 5 of activated T cells (NFAT5) on proliferation and apoptosis of human gastric cancer MGC803 cells and to explore the possible mechanisms. Methods: Three siRNAs targeting NFAT5 gene (siRNA2567, siRNA2714 and siRNA4562) and one negative control siRNA were designed and chemically synthesized before transfected into human gastric cancer cell line MGC803 by liposome. Real-time PCR was used to detect the changes of N F AT 5 mRNA expression in MGC803 cells to further pick out the siRNA that most effectively inhibit the expression of N F AT 5 . Further, Real-time PCR and Western blotting assay were carried out to test mRNAand protein levels of NFAT5 and S100A4 in cells 48 h after N F AT 5 -siRNAtransfection. Then, CCK-8 assay and FCM assay were used to detect the influence of silencing N F AT 5 on cell proliferation and apoptosis, respectively. Results: siRNA2567 was the most effective siRNA that significantly inhibited the expression of N F AT 5 mRNA ( P <0.01), and thus was validated as NFAT5-siRNA. Real-time PCR and Western blotting assay confirmed that both mRNA and protein levels of NFAT5 and S100A4 were down-regulated in cells 48 h after N F AT 5 -siRNAtransfection. Compared with NC-siRNAgroup, the proliferation ability of MGC803 cells in the N F AT 5 siRNAgroup was significantly down-regulated at 72 h and 96 h ( P <0.01).And FCM assay showed that compared with NC-siRNA group, cell apoptosis rate of N F AT 5 -siRNA group was significantly increased from (2.7±0.2)% to (7.9±0.2)%, ( P <0.01) 48 h after N F AT 5 -siRNA transfection. Conclusion: N F AT 5 -siRNA transfection can silence N F AT 5 gene expression in gastric cancer MGC803 cells effectively. N F AT 5 may inhibit proliferation and promote cell apoptosis of gastric cancer cells possibly through regulating S100A4 expression.
