1.Determination of Residual Organic Solvents in Pidotimod Tablets by GC
China Pharmacy 2007;0(31):-
OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for separation and determination of ethanol, dichloromethane and N,N-dimethylformamide in pidotimod tablets.METHODS:The residual organic solvents were quantitatively determined by GC on DB-624 capillary column with FID detector, using nitrogen as the carries gas.Temperature programming was carried out in which the column temperature was initially maintained at 40 ℃ for 5 minutes, then increased at a rate of 50 ℃ per minute to 200 ℃,and maintained at 200 ℃ for at least 10 minutes. The temperature at injection mouth was maintained at 160 ℃;the detector temperature was maintained at 280 ℃.The split ratio was 5∶1.RESULTS:3 residual organic solvents were completely separated and their determination was free of inference from hidden foreign substances. The linear ranges of the ethanol, dichloromethane and N,N-dimethylformamide were 10.036~802.88 (r=0.999 9),26.44~105.76 (r=0.999 6),and 1.76~140.8 (r=0.999 5) ?g?mL-1,respectively,and their average recovery rates were 102.4%,99.0%,and 99.2%,respectively,with RSD at 1.99%,3.34%,and 0.55%,respectively.CONCLUSION:The method is sensitive, accurate and rapid, and it is suitable for determination of residual organic solvents in pidotimod tablets.

3.Medical implication in the Bible and its relevance to modern medicine.
Journal of Integrative Medicine 2013;11(6):416-21
The Holy Bible, as the root of Western civilization, has imposed great influence in the fields far beyond religion. In this thesis, the author intended to reveal the medical implication in the Holy Bible and its relevance to the modern medical science by exploring the biblical medical information and comparing it with the current medical theory and practice. The conclusion of the exploration is surprising yet inspiring: the Holy Bible, as an ancient religious book, contains rich medical information around themes such as sexual relations, dietary guidelines, hygiene, etc., which is not at odds, but in harmony with the modern medicine.
4.EBP50:a Novel Cancer Suppressor Protein
Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics 2006;0(06):-
EBP50(ERM-binding phosphoprotein-50),a multifunctional adapter protein with 358 amino acids and two PDZ domains, regulates cell growth and migration. Lines of evidences indicate that it is a potential cancer suppressor protein. Loss of heterozygosity (LOH) and intragenic mutation of the ebp50 gene have been found in both primary breast tumors and breast cancer cell lines. EBP50 suppresses the breast cancer cell proliferation via its interaction with many tumor suppressor protein including PTEN, SYK, MERLIN, etc. Here the molecular structure of EBP50, signal pathway regulated by EBP50, and the relationship between breast cancer development and EBP50 are discussed.
5.Postoperative radiotherapy for high-grade gliomas
Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(1):27-29
Radiotherapy is one of the most important treatments for glioma; however its therapeutic effect is unsatisfying. Timing, accurate target outlining, a total dose higher than 60Gy, conformal modulating radiotherapy and combined chemotherapy and targeted therapy are important factors in improving the outcome of radiotherapy.
6.Analysis of surveillance results on iodine deficiency disorders in Zaoyang City of Hubei Province in 2015
Chinese Journal of Endemiology 2017;36(3):220-222
Objective To find out the prevalence of iodine deficiency disorders (IDD) and population iodine nutritional status, and to evaluate the intervention effect of iodized salt during the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period, and to provide a scientific basis for adjusting the intervention programs. Methods One town was selected respectively from the east, the west, the south, the north and the central of the entire city,4 villages were selected from each town,15 residents were selected to determine iodide content by quantitative detection;1 primary school was selected respectively from those 5 chosen towns,40 subjects aged from 8 to 10 years old (half male and half female) in each school were selected to collect urine samples for determination of urinary iodine, and to detect the volume of thyroid by palpation;20 pregnant women were chosen respectively from those 5 towns to detect their urinary iodine content and to determine iodine content of their salt samples,10 pregnant women were selected to investigate their healthy knowledge. Results A total of 300 samples of edible salt were tested, the median of salt iodine was 21.2 mg/kg,coverage rate of iodized salt was 97.7% (293/300),the consumption rate of eligible iodized salt at household level was 90.3% (271/300);the median of urinary iodine level was 232.4 μg/L in 200 8-10 years old chindren;232.9 μg/L in 100 pregnant women;the prevalence rate of goiter in children aged 8-10 was 3.0% (6/200);the healthy knowledge rate of pregnant women was 82.0% (41/50).Conclusions During the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period,Zaoyang has achieved the stage of elimination of IDD,but the situation of iodine nutritionrich children and the iodine nutrition-lack pregnant women are still exist. Therefore,we still need to strengthen the salt market management and insist to spread the knowledge of IDD,to eliminate the non-iodized salt from the market, and to ensure all people in appropriate iodine nutrition.

9.Radiation in head and neck cancers and the parotids' changes
Journal of International Oncology 2012;(12):913-915
During radiation for head and neck cancers, part of parotids are contained in planning target volume(PTV),which lead to parotids receiving radiation as the same as PTV.Radiation for head and neck cancers will influence the parotids. In the period of radiation, many factors will influence parotids, such as age, primary parotid volume,V10-40,weight and mean radiation dose et al.These factors will result in that the parotid volume reduces nearly 50% and moves toward the middle line of the body.As a result, the real dose of the parotid receiving is higher than prescription dose. The excretion function of the parotid will be severely damaged after radiation, which will lead to xerostomia and influence the quality of patients life.
10.Application of 18F-FDG PET-CT in nasopharyngeal carcinoma
Journal of International Oncology 2013;(6):443-447
The application of 18 F-FDG PET-CT in the diagnosis and treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma includes early diagnosis, clinical staging, contouring target volume, predicting the sensitivity of tumors to radiotherapy and effect evaluation, and monitoring the residual and recurrence.However,18 F-FDG uptake of tumor cells is under the influence of various factors,so false positive and false negative are unavoidable. Therefore it is need to develop more specific tracer agent in order to improve the accuracy of diagnosis and treatment,as well as to carry out multicenter clinical trial to identify the correlation of standardized uptake value (SUV)and radiation target volume.
