Objective To observe clinical therapeutic effect of Yiqi Huayu Prescription for diabetes peripheral nerve and blood vessel pathological change. Methods One hundred patients with diabetes peripheral nerve and blood vessel pathological change were randomly divided into two groups. The patients in control group (n=48) were treated by routine treatment. The patients in treatment group (n =52) were treated by oral use of Yiqi Huayu Prescription and routine treatment. Their therapeutic effects were compared after three courses of treatment, which was 30 days. Results The total effective rate was 92.9% in the treatment group and 61.1% in the control group. There was significant difference between the two groups (P 0.05). The internal diameter of the dorsal pedal artery and popliteal artery and the peak value of flow rate of the treatment group were improved (P

Objective To investigate the protective effect of ischemic postconditioning on lung injury in situ during lung ischemic reperfusion. Methods 24 SD rats were randomly divided into 3 groups,sham-operated group(S),ischemic-reperfusion group(I/R) and ischemic postconditioning group (IpostC).IpostC was established by several brief reperfusion-ischemia (30 s,5 cycles) before continuous reperfusion.AKT,p-AKT,p70S6K,p-p70S6K protein expression, apoptotic cells were tested by Western blotting and TUNEL,wet to dry weight ratio(W/D) in lung tissue were determined respectively. The lung pathological changes were also observed. Results Compared with S group, expression of Akt、p-Akt、p70S6K、p-p70S6K and the ratio of W/D,apoptotic index in lung tissue all markedly increased in I/R and IpostC group (P < 0.05).Compared with I/R group, expression of Akt、p-Akt、p70S6K、p-p70S6K markedly increased in IpostC group(P <0.05),while the ratio of W/D and apoptotic index significantly reduced (P < 0.05),the pathological injury in IpostC group also reduced significantly. Conclusion IpostC has a protective effect on lung ischemic reperfusion injury via PI3K/Akt pathway.

Objective To investigate the BRAF-V600E mutation in pediatric patients with Langerhans cell histiocytosis and its clinical features. Methods A retrospective study was conducted among 27 children who were diagnosed in our hospital between August 2009 and June 2015 ,including 17 males and 10 females. BRAF-V600E was amplified from tissue samples of the 27 children with LCH by PCR and the relationship was analysed between the mutation and clinical features ,outcome. Results BRAF-V600E mutation was found in 9 cases within all 27 tested cases(33.3%). Significant difference was not found in age ,gender ,system involvement ,6-week reaction ,3-year overall survival and event-free survival between BRAF-V600E positive and negative groups. Conclusions BRAF-V600E mutation was found in Chinese pediatric LCH patients with positive rate of 33.3%, that indicates LCH might be a neoplastic disease. However ,its definite role on disease onset ,system involvement and disease progression remains unknown.

Objective To analyze characteristics of heavy metals in metro station’s airborne PM2.5 and to evaluate its health risk in a South China city. Methods A metro stations were selected for the study. Sampling sites of metro station included ground control, station hall and platform. The PM2.5 sampling was conducted one time per day for three consecutive days. The concentrations of ten heavy metals (As、Cr、Cd、Ni、Hg、Pb、Mn、Sb、Se、Cu) were determined. Inhalation exposure to these heavy metals2.52.5 range from 0.06 ng/m3 to 49.22 ng/m3. The concentrations of Mn、Cr and Ni in metro station’s airborne PM2.5 were respectively 3.75 times, 2.23times and 2.12 times higher than those in ground control. Increased lifetime cancer risk of carcinogenic heavy metal Cr exposure outrange the acceptable level (10-6) when its exposure time exceed 5 hours per day for lifetime. Cancer risk of carcinogenic heavy metal As exposure outrange the acceptable level (10-6) when its exposure time for adult male population exceed 8 hours per day for lifetime. Non-carcinogenic hazards risks of heavy metal Mn、Cu、Pb、Se、Hg and Sb in metro station’s airborne PMPM2.5 were little. Conclusions Airborne particulate matter in metro station has become one of the important sources of heavy metal exposure. Further attention should be paid to the possible carcinogenic risk of heavy metals in metro station’s airborne PM2.5 for long-term exposure.

Journal of Prevention and Treatment for Stomatological Diseases 2021;29(7):479-484
Objective :
To explore the technology and efficacy of fabrication of a guide and removal of a fiber post by tetrahedron positioning technology at the chair side.
Methods:
For one patient with acute chronic periapical periodontitis of the left maxillary lateral incisor who needed to have the fiber post removed, the chair side tetrahedral positioning technique was used to make a guide plate to remove the fiber post. Cone beam CT (CBCT) data were imported into the software to design the guide plate for fiber post removal. The guide plate design on CBCT was transferred to a solid model by using tetrahedral positioning technology. The guide plate was made to guide the removal of the fiber post, and then left maxillary lateral incisor root canal was performed. We evaluated the effect of fiber post removal with tetrahedral positioning technology by reviewing the literature.
Results :
The guide plate made by tetrahedral positioning technology can accurately locate the position and direction of fiber posts at a low cost and with high speed. After the fiber post was removed, the root canal could be dredged by using root canal preparation instruments. After root canal preparation, the root canal was filled with warm gutta-percha to complete the root canal treatment. After 3 months, the apical radiograph showed that the transmission shadow of the apical area was reduced. The results of the literature review showed that the fiber post removal with guide plates provides a predictable result and a lower risk of iatrogenic damage. Minimally invasive treatment can be carried out, and chair time can be reduced.
Conclusion
On the basis of CBCT data, using tetrahedral positioning technology to make fiber post removal guides can help reduce the risk of fiber post removal and has the characteristics of speed, low cost and short chair side processing. However, the accuracy comparison between tetrahedral positioning technology and 3D printing guides needs further study.
