In the 58th American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting, some clinical results on B-cell lymphoma were reported. This review will focus on the recent progress of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and mantle cell lymphoma in this annual meeting.

The 55th ASH annual meeting published a special report about Hodgkin lymphoma,which mainly contains management of early-stage Hodgkin lymphoma,novel targeted therapy and the optimal treatment of lymphocyte-predominant Hodgkin lymphoma.The therapy of Hodgkin lymphoma should be individualized,in order to improve both PFS and OS.More clinical trials should be designed on the target therapy and the treatment strategy of nodular lymphocyte-predominant Hodgkin lymphoma.

Objective The purpose of this study was to evaluate the importance of the interhospital transport of critically ill pediatric patients by analyzing the epidemic characteristics of pediatric patients transported from 2009 to 2012.Methods Nine thousand two hundred and thirty-one referral patients from January 2009 to June 2012 were evaluated by a cross-section study.Epidemiological data such as sex,age,seasons,and referral radius were collected.Results Among all the interhospital transport of critically ill pediatric patients,male to female ratio was nearly 2.24 to 1 and 87.39％ (8067/9231) patients were neonates and infants.Of all patients,66.32％ (6122/9231) patients were from department of pediatrics,neonatology or gynaecology and obstetrics in referring hospitals.The distribution of referring department among years was statistically significant in referring patients (x2 =227.53,P ＜ 0.000 1).Among the patients,56.88％ (5251/9231) were transported over 150km radius and only 12.18％ (1124/9231) patients in 50 km.52.89％(4882/9231) were transported in spring and winter.The seasonal distribution of interhospital transport of critically ill pediatric patients was statistically significant(x2 =1201.88,P ＜0.000 1).The majority of referral telephones were received between 9 AM to 12 AM.Conclusion With the limitation of equipment and technical measure in primary hospitals,critically ill pediatric patients should be transported to tertiary hospitals.According to the epidemiological characteristics of interhospital transport of critically ill pediatric patients,some measures should be adopted for the timely,safe and effective interhospital transportation.

PFTK1,an important member of cyclin dependent kinase Cdc2 family,is over expressed in many malignancies.PFTK1 involves in multiple processes,such as regulation of cell cycle,tumor invasion and metastasis,and the Wnt signal transduction pathway,which has a significant impact on prognosis of tumor.

Objective To Study the correlation factors for diabetes pathogenesis of Uygur Nationality in Urumuqi.Methods A cluster sampling was done in 1002 Uygur people aged 25 to 74 years in a part of working units and living area in Urumuqi.All the people received 75g oral glucose tolerance test.Waist and hip circumference,blood pressure,height and body weight were measured.A questionnaire involved in the family history,diet,physical activity and the expenditure on diet was taken.Results(1)63% of the people was male,while 37% was female in our study.The constituent ratio of age was as following:25y～,23.08%;35y～,36.90%;45y～,19.64%;55y～,14.86%and 65y～,5.51%.(2)The prevalence of DM in the study was 14.69%,the abnormality of glucose metabolism was 29.89%.(3)The correlation factors of diabetes were family history of diabetes(OR 0.59),age(OR 0.83),high blood pressure(OR 0.912),waist-to-hip ratio(OR 3.851)and financial spending on diet(OR 5.279) in logistic regression analysis.Conclusions Diabetes-correlated factors are high financial spending on food especially meat products and little cellulose intake,high waist-to-hip ratio.To decrease the prevalence rate of diabetes in Uygur nationality,it is most important to change the diet habit and decrease intra-abdominal fat deposition
