Journal of Chinese Physician 2014;16(8):1079-1081
Objective To explore the expression and clinical significance of matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) in gastric cancer tissues. Methods The expressive level of MMP-9 in normal gastric mucosa tissues,para-carcinoma tissues, and cancer tissues were determined with histochemistry streptavidin-perosidase (SP) methods. The relationship of MMP-9 and gastric cancer tissue were analyzed. Results The positive expression rate of MMP-9 in the gastric cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in normal gastric mucosa tissues and para-carcinoma tissues (x2 =86.66,P <0.01).The positive expression rate of MMP-9 in gastric cancer tissues was related to differentiated degree of cancer tissues, tumor node metastasis (TNM) stage, infiltration degree, and lymphatic metastasis (x2 =7.76,P < 0.05; x2 =12.94,54.37,11.16,P < 0.01).Conclusions MMP-9 probably participates in the occurrence and development of a gastric cancer, and is related to its invasion and metastasis.
2.Progress about the relationship between platelet-derived growth factor and proliferation of mesangial cells
International Journal of Pediatrics 2011;38(2):144-146
Platelet-derived growth factor(PDGF), as an important cytokine, can induce mesangial cell proliferation and accumulate extracellular matrix. The proliferation of the mesangial cells correlate with the cell cycle regulation. The different isoform of PDGF works on mesangial cells to produce different effects. This review summarizes the relevant mechanism about PDGF inducing proliferation of mesangial cells.

Objective:To study three-dimensional hepatic microcirculation in normal rabbits. Methods:The corrosion casts was produced using methyl methacrylate and the HA,PV and BD were observed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM).Results:The diameter range of hepatic sinus was about 9.5~10.9?m,the ratio of HA/PV,HA/BD and PV/BD were about 0.28?0.03,0.26?0.06 and 0.89?0.12.The ratio of hepatic sinus and cells was about 31.87%.There was no significant rheological respectively between entering and outflowing liver blood. Conclusion:It is an effective method to study the hepatic microcirculation by using both methylmethacrylate and scanning electron microscopy. The results can serve as contrast standard for hepatic pathological research.
6.Evaluation of efficacy and prognosis of radiofrequency ablation for the treatment of hepatic hemangiomas
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2003;0(06):-
3.5cm in diameter were given multiple overlapping ablations that encompassed the entire les- ions. The operation was performed under local anesthesia in association with systemic analgesia. Results:The procedure was successfully accomplished in all the 16 patients. Adverse reactions happened at 2 ~5 postoperative days, including local pain and discomfort, pyrexia, and elevations of ALT levels. No bile leakage or hemorrhage occured.Follow-up observations in 16 patients for 1~3 years (mean,1 years and 8 months)showed a complete response (CR)in 15 patients and a partial response (PR)in l patient by one mission of RFA,the effective rate (CR+PR)being 100%.The hepatic hemangiomas decreased by a mean of 62.0%(range,50.1%~84.7%)in diameter. Conclusion:RFA is a safe and effective therapy for liver hemangiomas in properly selected patients by experienced hands.
7.Effects of Staurosporine on the Proliferation and Apoptosis of Human Cholangiocarcinoma QBC-939 Cells
Herald of Medicine 2014;(10):1314-1318
Objective To study the effects of protein kinase C (PKC) inhibitor staurosporine (STS) on the proliferation and apoptosis of human cholangiocarcinoma QBC-939 cells and to explore its possible mechanism. Methods CCK-8 was used to detect the effects of PKC inhibitor STS on the proliferation of human cholangiocarcinoma QBC-939 cells. The effects of STS on the ultrastructural characteristics of QBC-939 cells were observed by routine transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The apoptosis rate and the cell cycle distribution of QBC-939 cells were detected by flow cytometry. The expression of cyclin B1,Cdk1 and p-Cdk1 in QBC-939 cells was detected by Western blotting. Results STS could significantly inhibit the proliferation of QBC-939 cells in a dose-dependent manner (P <0. 05) and the half inhibitory concentration ( IC50 ) of QBC-939 cells at 24th and 48th h was 334 nmol·L-1 and 118 nmol · L-1 , respectively. TEM observed that STS could induce typical apoptotic bodies and super-microstructural changes of QBC-939 cells. By Annexin V-FITC/ PI double labeling flow cytometry,we found that the apoptotic rate of QBC-939 cells after treatment with STS for 0,12,24 and 48 h was (10. 16±4. 52)% ,(22. 35±2. 19)% ,(34. 27±2. 30)% and (59. 70±5. 97)% ,respectively. By flow cytometry, compared with the control group,STS could significantly increase apoptosis rate of QBC-939 cells, decrease the percentage of cells in G0 / G1 phase and increase the percentage of cells in G2 / M phase (P<0. 05). Western blotting proved that the expression levels of cyclin B1 and Cdk1 proteins in the STS-treated QBC-939 cells were significantly decreased (P<0. 05),while the expression level of p-Cdk1 protein in the STS-treated QBC-939 cells was significantly increased ( P < 0. 05 ). Conclusion STS can significantly inhibit cell proliferation and induce apoptosis of human cholangiocarcinoma QBC-939 cells and the mechanism may be related to cell cycle arrest at G2 / M phase.

10.3.0 T conventional MRI and MR arthrography in the evaluation of acetabular labral tears
Chinese Journal of Radiology 2010;44(11):1135-1139
Objective To compare the diagnostic value of conventional MR imaging with MR arthrography for acetabular labral tears at 3.0 T MR imaging Methods Forty-four patients suspected of acetabular labral pathology were prospectively scanned with conventional MR imaging and MR arthrography of the affected hip joints. All MR data were retrospectively studied. Each acetabular labrum was divided into three regions of anterior, superior, and posterior, and the acetabular tear and its classification were recorded. Five patients underwent subsequent hip arthroscopy. Wilcoxon signed ranks test was used to compare the difference between MR imaging and MR arthrography, and Kappa value was adopted for the evaluation of agreement of these two techniques. Results One hundred and sixteen regions of acetabular labrum were evaluated to be concordant at MR imaging and MR arthrography. Only 16 regions had different results at MR imaging and MR arthrography, in which 9 were diagnosed to have tears at MR arthrography but non-tear at MR imaging, and 6 had tears at MR imaging but non-tear at MR arthrography, and the other one had tears at both exams but of different classifications. In 5 patients confirmed by hip arthroscopy, both the evaluations of MR imaging and MR arthrography were accordant with that of arthroscopy. There were no statistical difference between MR imaging and MR arthrography ( Z = 0. 347, P > 0. 05 ) for diagnosing the acetabular labral tears, and good agreements (Kappa = 0. 781 ,P < 0. 01 ) were found between these two methods. Conclusion Conventional MR imaging of hip joints at 3.0 T shows similar diagnostic value with MR arthrography in evaluating the acetabular labral tears.
