The gastric cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in human. The current studies demonstrated that Helicobacter pylori(HP) is one important promotion factor in gastric cancer development. This text aims to overview three aspects including toxic factors and function mechanism of HP in gastric cancer,gene susceptibility of the host and environmental factors studying by domestic and international scholars.

Animal models using for research the cancer matestasis should be entirely similar to the clinical pathological process in patients.Currently,two kinds of animal models with genetic engineering and human tumor xenografts are available in laboratory,which provide a possible research tool to investigate the mechanism of tumor metastasis and explore the experimental treatment.In these models,the techniques including how to select the cell lines and using real-time imaging detection are very important factors.

Objective To discuss the pe rc utaneous laser disc decompression (PLDD) therapy by adopting the Nd: YAG Laser C L-50 Device under X-ray monitor supervision. Methods A total of 378 cases were included in this study. There was 198 males and 180 fe males, the age ranged from 19 to 76 years, with the average of 43.9 years, and the course of diseases from 1 month to 16 years. 17 cases of lumbar interverteb ral disc prolapse were diagnosed between L2 and L3, 35 cases between L3 and L4, 140 cases between L4 and L5, and 116 cases between L5 and S1. 60 cases with two intervertebral disc prolapses at the same time, and 10 cases with three interve rtebral disc prolapses at the same time. A total of 458 intervertebral-dis c operations were conducted with PLDD. All the cases selected had been examined by CT or MRI, and their clinical symptoms and physical signs were in compliance with the diagnosis standards for prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc. Results After PLDD operation, 268 cases were cured within 1 month with a cure rate of 70.90%; 259 cases were cured in 3 months with a cu re rate of 68.52%, 260 cases were cured in 6 months with a cure rate of 68 .25%. Stable results were found with curing satisfaction rate, effective rate and failure rate. Conclusion X-ray guided PLDD therapy is an ideal non-operative therapy for curing lumbar intervertebral disc prolap se with micro-trauma, little pain, quick recovery and good effect. PLDD has ac hieved encouraging effects both in its recent clinical outcome and long term eff ect as well.

The eight scalp needles, founded by Professor QIN Liang-fu, and its clinical experience for treatment of Parkinson's disease (PD) are introduced. Based on his years of clinical experience, it is proposed by Professor QIN that the Governor Vessel is mainly for miscellaneous disease and disease of limbs. Combined with distribution of cephalic motor region and meridian, an acupuncture treatment plan that is full of innovativeness is proposed, which is called Qin's eight scalp needles. It includes bilateral Fengchi (GB 20), Shuaigu (GB 8), Toulinqi (GB 15) as well as Yintang (GV 29) and Baihui (GV 20), mainly for treatment of nervous system diseases, such as PD and multiple sclerosis and so on. Besides, some outpatient cases are introduced to explain that eight scalp needle could alleviate the progression of PD, improve patients' motor, cognitive and affective disorders, reduce the suffering of patients, and improve the patient's quality of life.

One-day-old unvaccinated chicks were inoculated with serotype I virulent strain GA and vaccine strain CVI988, serotype III vaccine strain HVT o f Marek's disease viruses(MDV). By using an indirect immunofluorescence assay of suspensions of peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC) with monoclonal antibo dies(MAb) BA4 and BD8 specific to glycoprotein B of MDV, The dynamic course s of vir emia levels for each of 3 strains from 4 days to 45 days postinfection (PI) were determind. Viremia for virulent strain GA-infected chickens were detected from 4 days PI until days before death of infected chickens, it got its peak at abou t 14 days PI. Viremia in serotype 1 vaccine CVI988-inoculated chickens were mea sured between 4 to 22 days PI, it could be detected from 4 days PI and ended at 18 days PI, it got its peak at 8 days PI. For serotype 3 vaccine HVT-inoculated chickens, viremia could be detected beween 4 to 14 days PI, its peak happened a t about 6 days PI. Such IFA with MAbs BA4 and BD8 could be used to evaluate qu al ity of vaccination process in chicken flocks. The differential dynamic courses o f viremia for different strains may be used to diagnose virulent MDV infection i n vaccinated flocks. The viremia levels measured by IFA with the MAbs and co-cu ltivation assay for plague forming unit(PFU) were compared. The results indicate d that IFA assay of PBMC suspension was more sensitive and specific than co-cu ltivation assay, i.e. viremia levels measured by IFA were 30 to 100-fold higher than that by plague-forming assay in CEF for the same sample.

In order to make a rational and effective cure measure for lung cancer,people need to establish suitable animal model.Spontaneous or induced model needs long time to form tumor and the rate is not steady.Xenograft mouse model is widely used in laboratories because of its steady tumor formation rate and less time in oncogenesis.Engineered mouse model which is based on genetic technology not only helps us to understand pathological process of lung cancer,but also can provide an ideal preclinical model of targeted therapy experiment,and it will be the important development direction of lung cancer animal model.

Pancreatic endocrine tumors (PETs) are very rare and are divided into functional and nonfunctional tumors.Their clinical manifestations vary,and imaging diagnosis easily led to missing diagnosis and misdiagnosis for PETs.With the development of MRI technology,especially application of fat suppression techniques,diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) and dynamic enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DEMRI) are of great value on imaging diagnosis and differential diagnosis for PETs.The clinical data of 13 patients with PETs who were admitted to the Central Hospital of Enshi Autonomous Prefecture from June 2007 to December 2011 were retrospectively analyzed,and their MRI imaging features were studied.The diagnostic values of MRI,especially DWI and DEMRI for PETs were investigated.

Objective To establish a experimental autoimmune thyroiditis(EAT) rat model and to observe pathological change levels of CD4 + T lymphocyte infiltration in thyroid tissues under different iodine nutrient conditions.Methods One hundred and thirty-five four weeks old female Lewis rats(body weight about 80 g) were divided into control(NC),model(TG),high iodine-Ⅰ (HⅠ),high iodine and model-Ⅰ (HⅠ + TG),high iodine-Ⅱ (H Ⅱ),high iodine and model-Ⅱ (H Ⅱ + TG) groups according to body weight by random number table.There were 20 rats in NC,HⅠ and H Ⅱ groups,and 25 rats in TG,H Ⅰ + TG and H Ⅱ + TG groups.The rats of HⅠ and HⅠ + TG groups drank deionized water containing iodine 25.7 mg/L; rats of HⅡl and H Ⅱ + TG groups drank deionized water containing iodine 423.3 mg/L; rats of NC and TG groups drank distilled water.Rats of TG,HⅠ + TG and H Ⅱ + TG groups were immunized with 0.1 ml thyroglobulin(Tg,8.0 g/L) in incomplete Freunds adjuvant (IFA),once two weeks for three times.Urine samples were collected after immunization for 8 weeks; after immunization for 15 weeks,rats were killed,blood samples and thyroid tissues were taken.Urinary iodine was determined by arsenic-cerium catalytic spectrophotometry; pathological changes in thyroid tissue were observed by Hematoxylin-Eosin (HE) method ; immunohistochemical method was used to identify the infiltration of inflammatory cells in thyroid tissue.Results The difference of rat thyroid relative quality between groups was statistically significant (F =44.428,P ＜ 0.05).Compared with NC group (0.085 25 mg/g),thyroid relative qualities were increased in experimental groups (TG,HⅠ,HⅠ + TG,H Ⅱ,H Ⅱ + TG groups:0.095 22,0.092 85,0.097 48,0.096 55,0.095 33 mg/g,all P ＜ 0.05).The difference of urinary iodine between groups was statistically significant(x2 =106.4,P＜ 0.05).Compared with NC group(456.45 μg/L),urinary iodine levels in TG,HⅠ,HⅠ +TG,HⅡ,HⅡ + TG groups(800.08,18 633.20,13 869.00,87 889.97,61 661.51 μg/L) were increased(all P ＜ 0.05).The pathological changes of rats in each group were increased with increasing of iodine intake.Rats in NC group had normal thyroid structure; in TG,HⅠ groups,a small amount of lyrnphocytes were found between thyroid follicular; the lymphocytes infiltrated into the follicular in HⅠ + TG group; rats in H Ⅱ,H Ⅱ + TG groups had follicular fusion,and diffused inflammatory cell infiltration.There was a tendency of increased CD4+ T lymphocyte infiltration in rat thyroid with increasing of iodine intake.There was no CD4+ T lymphocyte positive staining in NC group; TG group had a small amount of positive cells; HⅠ group had scattered yellowish-brown positive cells.HⅠ + TG group had a focal lymphocyte infiltration; HⅡ group had follicular expansion obviously; follicular structure damage in HⅡ + TG group was serious,and showed a diffused yellow dye.Conclusion Excessive iodine intake and Tg immunization can induce and aggravate the incidence of autoimmune thyroiditis in rats,and pathological change situation has exacerbated with increasing of iodine intake; excessive iodine intake may also lead to an increased tendency of CD4+ T lymphocytes infiltration in thyroid tissue of EAT rat.
