Objective To study the self-identity and security of patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) Methods According to the Chinese Classification of Mental Disorder,Third Edition,63 inpatients and outpatients with OCD and 61 healthy controls were recruited to investigate with self-identity scale(SIS),security questionnaire (SQ),Yale-brown obsessive compulsive scale (Y-BOCS),and self-made questionnaire.Results Compared with controls,patients had lower self-identity (50.81 ± 7.52 vs 55.10 ± 6.86,P ＜ 0.01)and security(50.09 ± 11.65 vs 58.87 ± 10.22,P ＜ 0.01)than healthy controls.Female patients had lower self-identity (48.31 ±7.68 vs 52.57 ±6.98,P＜0.05) than male patients.There were correlation between self-identity and Y-BOCS (r =-0.404,P ＜ 0.01),security and Y-BOCS (r =-0.314,P ＜ 0.05),self-identity and course of disease (r =-0.284,P ＜ 0.05),security and course of disease (r =-0.259,P ＜ 0.05) self-identity and security (r =0.698,P＜ 0.01) Conclusion OCD patients have lower self-identity and security.The self-identity and security reduce with the symptoms getting worse.Low self-identity and security maybe characteristic of OCD patients.

Objective To investigate the risk of myocardial damage induced by obstructive sleep apneahypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) in children. Methods Twenty-three children who were in-hospital patients and diagnosed as adenoidal hypertrophy or palatine tonsil hypertrophy enrolled in the study as cases,among whom 15cases were affected by OSAHS (OSAHS group) ,and 8 cases were not affected by OSAHS( no-OSAHS group).Twenty-seven healthy children from health physical examination were enrolled as controls (control group).Chemiluminescence was used to detect the value of Troponin Ⅰ (TnⅠ) in all children, and the values of the three groups were compared. Results In the OSAHS group, TnⅠ was (0. 022 ± 0. 009) μg/L;in the non-OSAHS group, TnⅠ was (0.035 ± 0.012) μg/L;in the control group,TnⅠ was (0.017 ± 0.015) μg/L. There were significant difference among the three groups ( F = 8. 369, P = 0. 001 ). Furthermore, compared with the control group,TnI in the OSAHS was significantly higher( P ＜ 0. 001 ). Conclusion Children with adenoid or tonsil hypertrophy associated with OSAHS in children were found to have myocardial damage compared to healthy children, whereas similar on myocardial damage to children with adenoid and tonsil hypertrophy but not OSAHS.

Objective To evaluate the comprehensive experiment in fundamental nursing by using the indicator system and analyze the teaching effect.Methods 450 nursing graduates of grade 2011 were divided into 56 groups and comprehensive experiments were graded by using the indicator system in each group.Results The four indexes in level one scored (18.08±1.50),(19.99±2.31),(28.18±3.35),(18.16±1.73) points and accounted for 90％ 、80％ 、81％、91％ respectively.The total points' scorings and proportions were (84.41±5.84) points and 84％ respectively.Some deficiencies were found to be improved during evaluation.Conclusions Nursing comprehensive experiment evaluation indicator system can assess comprehensive experiments well,and the related competencies of nursing graduates need to be improved.

It is the most important mission that preserving and developing advancement of TCM theory and practice.We need defi nitive medical standard to standardize the development.Whether there was any standards in the history of traditional Chinese medicine is a hot question.Though the history research,we found that TCM classic literature was the medical standard in ancient China,which was confirmed by Tang-song government though official action.The standard teaching materials promoted the communication and development of TCM.After Song dynastythe standard position and function was strengthened continuouslywhich had a profound effect.

Objective To analyze the organization and management of pre-deployment training of peacekeeping medical units of PLA, so as to put forward suggestions for improvement. Methods Literature review, seminar(four sessions), and questionnaire survey were used in this study. A total of 260 questionnaires were sent out and 231 effective ones were collected, with an effective rate of 88.85%. The management mode, management regulation, training period, training site and standardization of training were investigated and analyzed. Results The PLA peacekeeping medical units needed a more standard organization and management system, a unified training period (now it ranging from 30 to 90 days), a better training condition, and standardized operation for pre-deployment training. Conclusion A more specific organization and management system is needed for pre-deployment training of PLA peacekeeping medical units. We should establish a training base for PLA peacekeeping troop and unified health service training should be practiced.

Objective To investigate the effect of fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) in increasing the accuracy and detection rate of chromosome aneuploid from spontaneous abortion specimens.Methods Chromosome 13,21,16 and 22 single sequence probes and centromere probes of 18,X and Y chromosome probes were used to detect 100 cases of spontaneous abortion villi samples.The results were compared with conventional karyotype analysis.Results (1) Karyotype analysis:Among 89 successfully cultured villi samples,51 abnormal karyotypes (57.3％) were found,including 37 cases of autosomal aneuploidies,four sex chromosome aneuploidies,two triploids,one tetraploid,one 68,XX and six chromosome structural aberrations.(2) FISH:The detection rate of abnormal karyotype was 38.0％ (38/100),among which 25 cases were autosomal aneuploidies,five sex chromosome aneuploidies,three triploids,four XX chimeras and one triploid in chromosome 13,16,18 and 21.(3) Comparison of the two methods:Among the 11 samples which failed by conventional method,FISH found two abnormal samples.In specimens of 46,XY,three cases showed mosaicism by FISH.In specimens of 46,XX,two cases showed chromosomal abnormalities by FISH.FISH detected overall 65.5％ (38/58) of the chromosomal abnormalities.Conclusions FISH combined with conventional chromosome analysis could improve the accuracy and detection rate of abnormal karyotypes in spontaneous abortion specimens.

Objective To explore clinical effect and safety of intermittent androgen suppression treatment of advanced prostate cancer in elderly patients.Methods 78 patients with advanced prostate cancer were enrolled,and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group (n=39 each).Patients in observation group were treated with intermittent androgen suppression treatment.Patients in control group were treated with persistent androgen suppression treatment.Results The time of therapy was much longer in observation group than in control group (P＜ 0.001).Quality of life was better in observation group than in control group (P＜0.05).The incidences of adverse reactions including anemia,fever and abnormal liver function were lower in observation group than in control group (all P＜0.05).Conclusions Intermittent androgen suppression treatment prolongs time to androgen-independent progression,improve the quality of life,reduce drug dosage and the incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment of advanced prostate cancer in the elderly.

OBJECTIVETo study the therapeutic efficacy of manipulative reduction and percutaneous pin fixation for the treatment of severely displaced distal tibial fractures in children.

METHODSFrom May 2009 to December 2012,56 children with severely displaced distal tibial fractures were analyzed, who had been treated with manipulative reduction and percutaneous pin fixation. Preoperative fractures were confirmed as severely displaced fractures by X-ray apparatus. There were 33 boys and 23 girls,ranging in age from 3 to 14 years, with an average of 10.1 years. All the fractures were closed without vascular or nerve injuries. According to the bone fracture type, under C-arm fluoroscopy, functional reduction was achieved by manipulative reduction. The fractures were fixed with percutaneous pins. Postoperative X-ray confirmed the functional reduction. Follow-up indexes were recorded: intra-operative and postoperative complications,postoperative radiographic examination, lower extremity length and range of ankle motion. Ankle score system of Teeny was used to evaluate ankle function.

RESULTSAll the patients were followed up, and the duration ranged from 3 to 46 months, with an average duration of 19.4 months. According to the Teeny score standard, 35 patients got an excellent result, 7 good and 3 fair. Pin track reaction was found in 4 cases. The X-ray showed all the fractures healed without shortening deformity or epiphyseal arrest at early stage. All the patients could participate in the normal physical activities, having a normal range of motion and excellent strength of the ankle joint.

CONCLUSIONThe method of manipulative reduction and percutaneous pin fixation is a safe and convenient treatment for severely displaced distal tibial fractures in children. It has several advantages as follow: micro-trauma, tiny tissue damage, firm fixation, and the patients can exercise the function of ankle early, suggesting that it is an effective treatment method.
