3.Progress in placental growth factor in ocular neovascular disease
International Eye Science 2016;16(11):2053-2058
Neovascularization is the main cause of blindness, such as diabetic retinopathy, retinopathy of prematurity and age - related macular degeneration. Vascular endothelial growth factor( VEGF) plays an important role in the formation of angiogenesis, and is considered to be the most potent angiogenic growth factor. Placental Growth Factor(PlGF) is one of the VEGF family, which play a crucial role in endothelial cell proliferation and migration, angiogenesis, and immune - mediated inflammation. Meanwhile, PlGF is specifically expressed in pathological angiogenesis, but not in normal blood vessels. In recent years, there has been increasing attention to PlGF, therefore this article reviews the role of PlGF in neovascular ocular diseases.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2010;14(4):689-692
BACKGROUND: Pulsed electromagnetic field attracts much attention due to its less trauma, infection, side effect, and simple application to promote bone fracture healing.OBJECTIVE: To review the effect of pulsed electromagnetic fields on bone fracture healing by mechanism, animal experiments, and clinical application so as to provide theoretical evidences for promoting bone fracture healing. METHODS: This study was retrieved by the first author with the key words of "PEMF and fracture" in both English (1989-2009)and Chinese (1981-2009) from Pubmed database (http://www.ncbi.nlm.gov/Pubmed) and Vip database (www.cqvip.com). Articles which were related with the effect of pulsed electromagnetic fields or electromagnetic field on bone fracture healing were included. The duplicated articles were excluded. The retrieval articles included reviews, animal experiments, and clinical experiments.Among 62 articles, 32 were in English and 30 in Chinese. Following the primary retrieval, 9 articles were excluded due to unrelated researching aim, 6 due to duplication, and 7 due to reviews. A total of 40 articles, 16 in Chinese and 24 in English, wereincluded in the final analysis, including animal and cytological experiments (n=31), and clinical studies (n=9).RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Pulsed electromagnetic field characterized by security, environmental protection, non-trauma,non-infection, sample processing, wide applicability, and less complications for treating bone fracture healing. Clinical experiments and clinical application have proved that pulsed electromagnetic field was an effective method to promote bone fracture healing, characterizing by low frequency and intensity. The mechanism of pulsed electromagnetic field for promoting bone fracture healing involved in physics and medicine. With the research of electromagnetism, organic complexity, and ethics, the parameters of pulsed electromagnetic field need to be further studied.
5.Characteristics and the application status of tissue repair of small intestinal submucosa
International Journal of Surgery 2013;40(11):765-768
Small intestinal submucosa has been applied in a variety of areas of basic and clinical study with its Characteristics of anti-infective and Low immunogenicity and so on.However,it is common to find the shrinkage and other problems in some tissue repair, and affects the functional recovery of repaired tissue to a certain extent. Thus,it is still a question to be resolved that how to avoid the shrinkage and other adverse effects after tissue repair. This paper provides a reliable basis for further correct understanding of the SIS's capacity of tissue repair by reviewing and summarying its characteristics and present situation of tissue repair, especially put forwarding the shrinkage problem.
6.Individual comprehensive therapy study for esophageal carcinoma
Journal of International Oncology 2012;39(7):526-529
Recently, with the development of the medical technique includes surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and molecular targeted therapy,multi-subject combined modality therapy for esophageal carei noma has been become a tendency instead of surgery alone.Any single treatment is hard to improve the curative effect of treatment for esophageal carcinoma.Systemic individual comprehensive therapy for the different patients with esophageal carcinoma is likely to reduce recurrence rate, improve survival rates as well as to improve the quality of life.

Chongqing Medicine 2017;46(25):3565-3568
Objective To probe into the status quo of maltreatment tendency among family caregivers of elderly patients with chronic diseases and its influence factors. Methods Totally 402 family caregivers of the elderly patients with chronic diseases were selected and surveyed by using the Chinese version of caregiver elder abuse assessment scale and the results underwent statistical analysis. Results 63.70% of family caregivers in elderly patients with chronic diseases had the elder abuse risk tendency and its influence factors were involved with both aspects of family caregivers and the care recipients, including the gender, cultural level and self-care ability of daily living in the elderly patients with chronic diseases and the age, cultural level, care period and living together with elderly in caregivers. Conclusion The elder abuse problem in the patients with chronic diseases should be paid more attention to,which needs the collaboration of multidisciplinary team, various effective ways should be adopted to relieve the family caregivers' pressure for reducing the occurrenc of elder abuse risk.
9.Study on correlation between elder abuse tendency and psychological resilience of family caregivers of the elderly with chronic diseases
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2017;33(16):1215-1219
Objective To probe into the status and correlation between elder abuse tendency and psychological resilience of family caregivers of the elderly with chronic diseases. Methods Totally 402 family caregivers of the elderly with chronic diseases were investigated by the Chinese version of Caregiver Abuse Screening and Conner-Davidson Resilience Scale. Then the results underwent statistical analysis. Results Nearly 63.68%(256/402) family caregivers had the risk of elder abuse tendency. The median of family caregivers′resilience score was 53, lower than normal population(Z=-10.106, P=0.000), and was significantly negatively correlated with elder abuse tendency(r=-0.480, P=0.000).And caregivers′ high level of resilience was a protective factors for elder abuse tendency. Conclusions Nurses should motivate the family caregivers of the elderly with chronic diseases to adapt successfully when faced stress which could be associated with resilience. Thus the psychological resilience would play a role of protective effect against elder abuse tendency, with the purpose of reducing the risk for abusing the elderly who suffered from chronic diseases.
10.A case of upper gastrointestinal bleeding and paraplegia
Journal of Peking University(Health Sciences) 2003;0(04):-
SUMMARY Lymphoma is a systemic disease. It is not uncommon to be found involved in digestive or central nervous system. However, lymphoma involved in these two systems at the same time is rare. The clinical feature of a case of lymphoma with gastrointestinal bleeding and limbs weakness was investigated and the literature was reviewed. The patient came to our hospital with melena and hematemesis. She was diagnosed as gastric ulcer by gastroscopy and biopsy showed lymphoma. Two days after she came to hospital, the patient presented with progressing limbs weakness. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed irregular abnormal signals in T2-T4 vertebra, which was enhanced obviously. A strip abnormal signal could be seen in spinal cord and involved in neighboring centrum and ribbing. The lesion extended to paravertebral tissue. The final diagnosis was lymphoma involved in stomach and spinal cord. Diseases presented with both upper digestive tract bleeding and symptoms of central nervous system were rare, including malignancies, virus infection and some therapy. Lymphoma was one of the causes. On the other hand, spinal cord ischemia might occur after gastrointestinal bleeding. Thus, doctors should examine the patients carefully to diagnose these diseases.
