The herpes simplex virus(HSV) Us3 gene encodes a ser/thr protein kinase(PK).As an accessory gene,it plays an important role in the regulation of the apoptosis of infected cells and virus release.Us3-induced alterations in the host cytomorphology are associated with enhanced intercellular virus spread, suggestive of a previously undescribed aspect of alphaherpesvirus spread.

Background and purpose:More and s’more evidence has demonstrated that DNMT1 was expressed at high levels in many different kinds of human tumor tissues or cells, suggesting that high expression of DNMT1 was closely associated with occurrence and development of tumors. In this study, effect of down-regulation of DNMT1 on cell proliferation and migration ability of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC) cell line EC9706 cells was studied and its related mechanism was explored. Methods:Cell proliferation assay was investigated using CCK-8 Kit,cell migration ability was analyzed using Boyden chamber and the expressions of DNMT1 and MMP-2 were detected by Real-time PCR and Western blotting methods. Results:The result of cell proliferation experiment showed that down-regulation of DNMT1 could markedly inhibit cell proliferation in EC9706 cells. After transfection with DNMT1 siRNA,invasiveness and metastasis ability of EC9706 cells displayed an obvious decrease(P

Objective To observe the effect of atropine in the treatment of bromiderosis with anhydrous alcohol injection. Methods Patients were randomly divided into two groups (A and B): the patients in Group A was injected with both anhydrous alcohol and atropine, and that in Group B was only injected with anhydrous alcohol. The effect of the operation was evaluated at 1, 3 and 6 months after the treatment. Results From August 2004 to January 2008, 72 patients were involved in this study. 37 cases were included in Group A, and 35 patients were included in Group B. The effective rate in the Group A was 83.78 %, and that in the Group B was 82.86 %. There was no statistical difference between these two groups. Conclusion Atropine has no effect on the treatment of axillary bromidrosis with anhydrous alcohol injection and it is, therefore, not necessarily included in the treatment.
