Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2022;20(1):40-48
Objective: To observe the effects of Tuina (Chinese therapeutic massage) combined with graded motor imagery (GMI) on the upper-limb motor function and quality of life (QOL) in patients with poststroke hemiplegia. Methods: A total of 216 patients with hemiplegia caused by stroke were randomized into two groups by tossing a coin, with 108 cases in each group. The control group was treated with GMI, and the observation group was given additional Tuina treatment for four weeks in total. Before and after the treatment, the Fugl-Meyer assessment for upper extremity (FMA-UE), supper-limb/hand Brunnstrom staging, box and block test (BBT) for hand, co-contraction ratio (CR) of the upper-limb muscles, visual analog scale (VAS) for shoulder pain, modified Ashworth scale (MAS), modified Barthel index (MBI), and short-form 36-item health survey (SF-36) were adopted for observation of the two groups. Results: After the treatment, the scores of FMA-UE, upper-limb/hand Brunnstrom staging, hand BBT, MBI, and SF-36 increased (P<0.05), and the CR of biceps brachii at flexion, the CR of triceps brachii at extension, and the scores of VAS and MAS decreased in both groups (P<0.05). The scores of FMA-UE, upper-limb/hand Brunnstrom staging, and hand BBT were higher in the observation group than in the control group after the intervention (P<0.05); the CR of biceps brachii at flexion and the CR of triceps brachii at extension were lower in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.05). After the treatment, the scores of MBI and SF-36 were higher in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.05), and the scores of VAS and MAS were lower in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Tuina combined with GMI can produce more significant effects in improving the upper-limb motor function and QOL in patients with hemiplegia after stroke.

China Pharmacist 2017;20(5):911-913,952
Objective: To optimize the formula and preparation process of metronidazole thermosensitive in situ gel. Methods: The temperature of gelation and 24-h cumulative release were used as the evaluation indices, and the orthogonal tests were carried out to investigate the amounts of poloxamer 407 (P407), poloxamer 188 (P188), sodium alginate and polyethylene glycol 4000 (PEG 4000) to screen the best formula of thermosensitive in situ gel.The in vitro release of metronidazole thermosensitive in situ gel was determined by HPLC and compared with that of commercially available gel. Results: The optimum formula of thermosensitive in situ gel was P407 of 20%, P188 of 18%, sodium alginate of 0.1% and PEG 4000 of 1.5%.The release rate of metronidazole thermosensitive in situ gel was high, and the temperature of gelation was suitable.Compared with that of the commercially available gel, the vaginal retention of the in situ gel was significantly improved. Conclusion: The formula of the in situ gel is reasonable and the preparation process is feasible.
4.Research advance in the effect of potassium channel on pathogenesis of idiopathic optic neuritis
Chinese Ophthalmic Research 2009;27(11):1054-1056
Idiopathic optic neuritis (ION) is a common disorder in neuro-ophthalmology. It harms vision function seriously. However, there are a lots of controversy and confusion about its etiology, etiopathogenesis and outcome of treatments. Recently, potassium channel, such as stichodactyla helianthus peptide (ShK) and TRAM-34, was found to be involved in the immunopathogenesis of ION, and regulation of potassium channel provide a novel immunomodulatory therapy for ION. This paper reviewed the research advance of potassium channel in ION. It is expected to further clarify the pathogenesis and search for effective treatment.
5.Clinical significance of serum hepatocyte growth factor detection in gastric cancer patients
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2009;16(6):965-967
Objective To explore the clinical significance of serum HGF level changes in gastric cancer pa-tients. Methods 60 cases of patients who operatied and clinicopathological confirmed gastric cancer, were detected serum HGF level by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) .40 cases were administered radical gastrectomy,20 cases of patients who had distant metastasis and loss operative chance were detected 7 days and 3 months preopera-tive,postoperative serum HGF level respectively. At the same time 40 cases of chronic gastritis patients and 40 cases of healthy examination people were selected as control group. Results Serum HGF level in patients with gastric canc-er was significantly higher than that of chronic gastritis and normal controls(P <0. 01). The serum HGF level of pa-tients with tumor vascular invasion significantly increased(P <0. 05). The patients with lymph node metastasis, serum HGF level was significantly higher than that patients with no lymph node metastasis(P <0. 05). The serum HGF level of patients with liver metastasis was significantly higher than that patients with no liver metastasis(P <0. 05). The se-rum HGF level of gastric cancer patients whose maximum diameter of the tumor ≥3cm were significantly higher than that maximum diameter of the tumor <3cm(P<0. 05). According to TNM staging of gastric cancer, the serum HGF level of Ⅰ phase and Ⅱ phase patients were significantly lower than that Ⅲ phase and Ⅳ phase patients(P <0.05).The serum HGF level of gastric cancer patients had no significant correlation with sex ,age and histological type(P <0.05). The serum HGF level of 40 cases of patients who were 1 week after surgery were significantly decreased, the patients who were 3 months after surgery were more obvious(P <0. 05 and P <0. 001). Conclusion HGF may play an important role in gastric cancer occurrence and development. The detection of serum HGF level can become an im-portant index for monitoring the degree of gastric cancer and prognosis of patients.

Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis 2007;19(1):70-72
Mental task classification is one of the most important problems in Brain-computer interface. This paper studies the classification of five-class mental tasks. The nonlinear parameter of mean period obtained from frequency domain information was used as features for classification implemented by using the method of SVM (support vector machines). The averaged classification accuracy of 85.6% over 7 subjects was achieved for 2-second EEG segments. And the results for EEG segments of 0.5s and 5.0s compared favorably to those of Garrett's. The results indicate that the parameter of mean period represents mental tasks well for classification. Furthermore, the method of mean period is less computationally demanding, which indicates its potential use for online BCI systems.

Complex clinical situation requires healthcare providers to be able to perceive, un-derstand and predict the situation changes correctly, namely they need situation awareness. Good clin-ical situational awareness can help clinical decision-making and cooperation, which is critical to im-proving the quality of healthcare. Therefore this review aims to summarize the meaning, applications, status and influence factors, measurements and training of clinical situation awareness, to provide evidence for training and improving clinical situation awareness.

Objective:To screen the best formula of tegafur temperature-sensitive gel for intratumor injection and investigate the in vitro drug release behavior. Methods:The drug dose was determined by cytotoxicity experiment. The thermo-sensitive gel was prepared with PLGA-PEG-PLGA and HPMC as the matrix. With the in vitro release as the index, the effects of PLGA-PEG-PLGA and HPMC at different concentrations on gel were investigated. The gelation temperature, viscosity and pH were detected. Results:The best formula was as follows:25% PLGA-PEG-PLGA, 1% HPMC, and tegafur dose of 1 mg·ml-1 . The average gelation temperature was 36. 7℃, the average viscosity was 7550 mPa·s, and the average pH was 7. 2. Conclusion:Tegafur thermo-sensitive gel for intratumor in-jection shows temperature sensitivity and obvious sustained-release property, which provides experimental basis for the further clinical research.
