Microbiology 1992;0(02):-
The main pollution of coastal sea is heavy metal and eutrophication, which resulted in degeneration of its eco-function.Pollution of heavy metal is accompanied with eutrophication in sea water. This article studied on copper absorption capacity of several bacteria strains which were isolated from the surface of macroalga Gracilaria lemaneaformis that was cultivated in copper polluted sea.We got 6 strains of epiphytic bacteria from the seaweed,Ochrobactrum anthropi,Aeromonas salmonicida,Micrococcus lylae,Corynebacterium ulcerans,Pseudoalteromonas spp,Vibrio fluvialis.Attained from the experiment of copper biosorption,A.salmonicida had a maximal biosorption capacity among them, and Vibrio minimal.Based on this trail,A.salmonicida,C.ulcerans and Vibrio were selected for next trails included optimal biosorption time, optimal pH value and effect of pre-disposal by several chemical reagents on biosorption capacity. The results showed:optimal biosorption time was between 40 minutes and 60 minutes, and optical pH value 4~5.Pre-disposal by HCl leaded to lost the absorption capacity of A.salmonicida, but was opposite by NaOH and ethanol. For C.ulcerans and Vibrio, the copper absorption capacities were increased by them.

Objective:To investigate the compliance with early Warfarin anticoagulation therapy after cardiac mechanical valve replacement(MHVR)and its related factors in elderly patients. Methods:The convenience sampling method was used to prospectively recruit 210 patients undergone MHVR at the Ningbo Medical Center of Lihuili Hospital from January 2017 to October 2019.Six months after discharge, face-to-face interviews or telephone follow-ups were conducted to assess general information, warfarin anticoagulation knowledge, anticoagulant treatment compliance and social support. Results:The overall compliance of early Warfarin anticoagulation therapy was excellent, with 99.5% of patients compliant with medication and 99.0% compliant with INR monitoring, both higher than the rate of compliance with advised lifestyle adjustment(92.1%). Anticoagulation knowledge and age were the main influencing factors for compliance in elderly patients after MHVR.Conclusions:The compliance with early Warfarin anticoagulation therapy after MHVR is good in elderly patients in the Ningbo area. The correlation analysis suggests that medical professionals need to promote education on anticoagulation knowledge and pay more attention to anticoagulation compliance in elderly people.

Objective To investigate the regulation of B-lymphocyte stimulator(BLyS) levels in response to IFN-γand IL-6. Methods Flow cytometry, quantitative polymerase chain reaction, ELISA and Western blot were applied to examine the expression level of BLyS in response to IFN-γ and IL-6 . Results IFN-γand IL-6 induced BLyS expression in KM3 cells. After treated with BAY11-7082, an IkB-α phospho- rylation inhibitor, the up regulation of BI,yS induced by IFN-γ was completely inhibited. Inhibiting the nu-clear faetor-kB (NF-kB) and mitogen activated protein kinase(MAPK) activation in KM3 cells reduced BLyS protein and gene expression. Conclusion MAPK and NF-kB pathways are involved in the regulation of BLyS expression, which suggests that MAPK and NF-kB might be used for the treatment of multiple mye- loma.

Objective To investigate the anatomical basic of extensor carpi radialis brevis (ECRB) tendon transferring to extensor pollicis longus (EPL) tendon. Methods Twelve sides of ECRB and EPL in fresh adult cadaver's forearms were collected, and the anatomical model of ECRB transferring to EPL was set up in all the forearms. The anatomical parameters of EPL were measured before and after anatomical model established. Results The effective transferring length of ECRB was (3.5±0.8)cm;the maximum circumferential of ECRB and EPL were (8.5±0.8)cm and (3.6±0.3)cm (P >0.05),the ratio of muscle cross-sectional area was 5.57;After the anatomical model setting up,anatomic angles of EPL was (30±7)°,which was a decrease of (20±5) ° comparing with the preoperative angel of (50±9) ° (P >0.05);Thumb extension angle was (50± 12) °,which was a decrease of (8±3) ° comparing with the preoperative angel of (58 ± 16) ° (P<0.05);The dorsal extension angle of first metacarpal was (12±5)o,which was a decrease of (3± 2) o comparing with the preoperative angle (15±8)° (P>0.05);Thumb tip lifting height was (2.3±0.9) c m,which was a decrease of (1.2±0.6)cm comparing with the preoperative height (3.5±1.2)cm (P >0.05).Conclusion Based on the measurement of the anatomic parameters of ECRB and EPL,the ECRB has enough length and muscle force to reconstruct the function of EPL.The thumb had a good extension appearance and accorded with the rule of biomechanics after setting up the anatomical model of ECRB transferring to EPL.This study will provide the anatomical evidence for further clinical application

Through an overview of the development of long-term care mode that combined medicine and pen-sion and the existing ethical issues, this paper pointed out that the future long-term care mode should strengthen the enthusiasm of public hospitals to participate in, reduce multiple management by government departments, es-tablish perfect laws and regulations and medical insurance system, enhance the responsibility of the practitioners and the general public, meanwhile, actively practice the principle of humanity and respect, fairness and efficiency, honesty and reliability in ethics, to provide new ideas and directions for the development of this model.

Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2018;41(7):514-518
Objective:
To analyze the auxiliary diagnostic value of prostate cancer-associated non-coding RNA transcript1(PCAT-1) in serum of colorectal cancer(CRC) patients.
Methods:
The serum samples were collected from 73 patients with CRC who underwent surgical treatment and were diagnosed by pathology, 54 patients with colorectal polyps and 62 healthy controls at the Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University from October 2015 to January 2017. The serum level of PCAT-1 in CRC patients, colorectal polyps and healthy controls were measured by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction, respectively. The relationship between the level of PCAT-1 and the clinical pathologic feature was analyzed. Receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC) was used to evaluate the diagnosis value of PCAT-1, carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA), carbohydrate antigen 199 (CA199) alone and the combination of one of them in CRC.
Results:
The relative expression of PCAT-1 was 2.190 0(0.852 5, 6.715 0), 0.586 5(0.331 8, 1.697 0), 0.530 0(0.127 5, 0.957 5) respectively in CRC patients, colorectal polyps and healthy controls. The expression level of serum PCAT-1 in CRC patients was not related to the age (

The present study has been performed to evaluate Porphyromonas gingivalis (P.gingivalis) heat shock protein(HSP)60 as a candidate vaccine to inhibit multiple bacteria-induced alveolar bone loss. Rats were immunized with P.gingivalis HSP60 and experimental alveolar bone loss was induced by infection with multiple periodonto -pathogenic bacteria. Post-immune rat anti-P.gingivalis HSP IgG levels were significantly elevated and have demonstrated highly significant inverse relationship with the amount of alveolar bone loss induced by multiple bacteria. Results from PCR detection of subgingival bacterial plaque indicated that the vaccine successfully eradicated the multiple pathogenic species. We concluded that P.gingivalis HSP60 could potentially be developed as a vaccine to inhibit periodontal disease induced by multiple pathogenic bacteria.
