Journal of Jilin University(Medicine Edition) 2002;28(1):1-5
Objective: To explore effect of TfR on immune function after ionizing by investigating changes in TfR expression on splenic lymphocytes of mice after whole body irradiation (WBI) with different dose X-rays. Methods: Direct immunoflurescence antibodies and flow cytometry were used to examine the changes of TfR expression. Results: The cell number of TfR positive expression in spleens increased significantly at 24 hours and 72 hours after WBI with 75 mGy X-rays but the cell number of TfR positive expression in spleens decreased significantly at 24 hours after WBI with 1~6 Gy X-rays. The activity of IL-2, meanwhile, demonstrated a parallel change. Conclusion: These results suggest that the TfR enhances immune function in low dose ionizing radiation but suppresses immune function in high dose. The change of TfR expression may be due to the change of IL-2 activity caused by ionizing radiation.

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(10):1080-1082
Huangdi Neijing (Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic) is the earliest medical classic work existing at present in Chinese medical treasures and is the foundation of TCM. It not only contains rich medical words, but also supplements the new meanings of seven words, i. e. Wang, Xiu, Yuan, Fang, Xu, Jiu and Bian for removing needle, retaining needling, reinforcing technique, reducing technique, slow needling, moxibustion and stone-needle puncturing, respectively.

China Biotechnology 2006;0(10):-
Compared with C3 plant,C4 plant had evident growth advantage, higher rates of water and nutrition using, and higher bio-yield than C3 plant,Sugarcane was one of the typical C4 plants.DNA was extracted from sugarcane leaves, primers were designed by the cDNA sequence of PPDK gene from GenBank. Then DNA was amplified by LA-PCR(Long Acute PCR) method, ligated into pMD18-T vectors, and transformed into E.coli.JM109.Full-length PPDK gene sequence of sugarcane was obtained, the sequence was 13.5kb in length. For convenient of the next experiment, two digest sites(XhoI and NotI) were introduced into primers, the full-length PPDK gene was splitted to two parts, and was ligated into pMD18-T simple vectors, respectively.Whole PPDK gene clone of sugarcane was finished. The strains were storaged in the lab.

Objective To explore the mechanism of Huagan Jiedu decoction in treatment of chronic hepatitis B by testing the influence of the decoction on Serum IL-2, IL-4 and IFN-γ of rat models of chronic hepatic injury. Methods The model of Chronic hepatic injury was established by subcutaneously injecting 40% CCl4-olive oil solution in rats according to the ratio of 3ml per kg. of body weight. 60 healthy rats were divided randomly into a normal group, a model group, a low dose of Huagan Jiedu decoction group, a large dose of Huagan Jiedu decoction group, and a control group (Qingre Jiedu tablet group), 15 cases in each group. The Serum IL-2, IL-4 and IFN-γ were detected in each group separately. Results Compared with the normal group, the Serum IL-2 and IFN-γ were decreased (t=2.401, 2.337, P=0.0349, 0.0378) and the Serum IL-4 was increased (t=2.896, P=0.00861 ) in the model group; Compared with the model group, the Serum IL-2 and IFN-γ were increased (t=2.417, 2.344, P=0.0341, 0.0372, P<0.05; t=3.114, 2.988, P=0.0052, 0.0068) in the large Huagan Jiedu decoction group and the control group, while the Serum IFN-γ was increased (t=3.049, P=0.0062) in the low dose of Huagan Jiedu decoction group and the Serum IL-4 was decreased (t=3.102, 3.017, 2.979, P=0.0061, 0.0065, 0.0069)in both Huagan Jiedu decoction groups and the control group. Conclusion Large dose of Huagan Jiedu decoction has sound therapeutic effects on rats with chronic hepatic injury by decreaseing the content of the Serum IL-4 and increasing IL-2 and IFN-γ, and adjusting th1/th2 balance.

China Oncology 2000;0(06):-
Background and purpose:Both nature killer cells(NK)and cytoxic T lymphocytes in the body tissues of human are the dominant components of cellular immunity,This study was done to explore the degree of infiltration of NK/T in lung squamous cell carcinoma and its relation to patient survival and prognosis. Methods: CCD8 as the markers cytoxic T lymphocyte(CTL)and CD56 as the markers natural killer(NK)were stained immunohistochemically to detect the distribution and infiltration in the lung squamous cell carcinoma specimens. Results:In 39 of 68 lung neoplasm, whose CTL infiltration was zero or mild, the five-year survival rate was 18%, while in 29 with marked CTL infiltration, the five-year survival rate was 42%.In 46 of 68 lung neoplasm, whose NK infiltration was zero or mild, the five-year survival rate was 14%,while in 22 with marked NK infiltration, the five-year survival rate was 45%.In 48 of 68 lung neoplasm, both the NK and T cells were zero or mild, the five-year survival rate was 33%,while in 20 with marked NK and T cell infiltration, the five-year survival rate was 54%.The five-year survival difference among the patients with NK,T infiltration either marked or zero/mild infiltration were significant(x~2=18.62, P=0.00).Conclusions:The degree of NK and T infiltration is positively correlated with the prognosis and survival time of lung squamous cell carcinoma patients.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2010;16(12):1127-1130
ObjectiveTo recognize the features of genitourinary dysfunction in multiple system atrophy (MSA) and the importance of videourodynamics.Methods5 cases of MSA were reviewed.ResultsGenitourinary dysfunction in MSA included voiding problem, nocturnal urinary frequency, urgency, impotence and so on. The characteristic appearance of videourodynamics was that postvoiding volume more than 100 ml, detrusor-external sphincter dyssynergia (DESD) and open bladder neck at the start of bladder filling. The abnormal sphincter electromyography comprised of abnormal spontaneous activity, motor unit potentials (MUPs) more than 13 ms, polyphasic potentials more than 60%. MRI showed brain atrophy and the "hot cross bun" signal in the pontocerebellar degeneration.ConclusionMSA is a disorder characterized by progressive neuronal atrophy at certain sites of the central nervous system that control the urogenital function. MSA-related urological symptoms are analogous with symptoms of bladder outlet obstruction. It is necessary to take some reasonable investigations for avoiding misdiagnosis and unnecessary surgery.

Objective To investigate the molecular regulation of G1 arrest of mouse thymocytes induced by ionizing radiation. Methods Cell cycle was analyzed by flow cytometry (FCM) following staining of cells with proidium iodide. Fluorescent staining and flow cytometry analysis were employed for measurement of protein expression. Results It was demonstrated that G1 phase of mouse thymocytes increased significantly at 12h after whole body irradiation (WBI) with the doses of 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0 Gy, and at 24h following 2.0Gy exposure, measured by FCM. In the time course experiment, it was found that G1 phase of thymocytes increased significantly at 4h, reached a peak level at 24h and came down toward 48h after WBI with 2.0Gy X-rays. The results also showed that after 2.0Gy exposure, the expression of proteins in mouse thymocytes increased significantlty from 1h to 8h for p53, for p21 from 4h to 48h, and for MDM2 at 4h and 8h, measured by FCM. But no change was found for GADD45 protein expression. Conclusion These results suggest that G1 arrest could be induced by a single dose of 0.5 Gy, 1.0Gy or 2.0Gy, and its molecular control might be established through the p53-p21 pathway.
