Objective To evaluate Color Doppler ultrasonography follow up for patients of femoropopliteal arteriosclerosis after interventional therapy.Methods We used Color Doppler ultrasound (CDU) in 57 cases' follow-up of endovascular intervention therapy of femoropopliteal arteriosclerosis lesion to monitor and analyze arterial hemodynamics after endovascular intervention therapy.Results An average follow-up of 13 months( range:3 -33 ) was achieved.31 of the 57 cases were found with mild stenosis,8 cases were moderate stenosis,6 cases were severe stenosis,12 cases were complete occlusion.In these 57 cases there were 7 in Fontaine stage Ⅰ,42 cases in Fontaine stage Ⅱ,6 cases were Fontaine stage Ⅲ,2 cases were Fontaine stage Ⅳ.Ankle brachial index (ABI) ABI≥I.0 in 2 cases,0.8≤ABI ＜ 1.0 in 10 cases,0.8≤ABI ＜ 1.0 in 31 cases,and ABI ＜0.5 in 14 cases.There was significant correlation between stenosis and Fontaine stage ( r =0.47,P ＜ 0.01 ),so was between stenosis and ABI ( r =0.66,P ＜ 0.01 ).In this series 29 cases also underwent DSA,and the results between CDU and DSA were significandy consistent ( Kappa value =0.61,P ＜ 0.01 ).The sensitivity of CDU was 92％,the specificity was 75％ and the accuracy was 89.2％.Conclusions CDU can continuously monitor hemodynamics after endovascular intervention therapy.It is a sensitive,non-invasive and effective method to evaluate the clinical efficacy of endovascular intervention.

Objective: To investigate the effects of the combination of imbalanced branched-chain amino acids and 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) on nutritional and survival condition of tumor-bearing rats. Methods: The SD rats were each given a catheterization of jejunostomy and an inoculation of Walker-256 carcinosarcoma cells subcutaneously. Forty-eight rats were randomized into 4 groups: Group A (balance amino acid + NS), Group B (balance amino acid + 5-FU), Group C (valine-depleted amino acid + 5-FU), and Group D (complex amino acid of valine-depleted and leucine-supplemented + 5-FU). The change of rat′s weight, main organ weights, serum prealbumin (PA) and transferrin (TF) concentration were investigated.In addition, rat′s survival time was observed. Objective To construct the suppression subtractive library of hemin-inducing K562 cells for identifying the cDNA genes of globin synthesis regulatory factors expressed in K562 cells induced by hemin. Methods K562 cells were cultured under different concentration of hemin, both the percentage of positive benzidine staining cells and hemoglobin content were measured, the most reasonable concentration of hemin was chosen for inducing incubation of K562 cells. The poly (A) positive RNA (mRNA) was isolated from the hemin-induced K562 cells (tester) and non-induced K562 cells (driver) respectively, and double-strand cDNA molecules were synthesized by reverse transcription. After two times subtractive hybridization followed by two times polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification, the forward subtracted PCR products were ligated with pGEM T-Easy vector and the subtracted cDNA library was constructed. The library clones were selected by blue-white screening. The plasmid DNAs of the single positive colony were purified and digested by EcoRⅠ, and the inserts in plasmid were amplified by PCR. Results The maximum of positive benzidine staining cells percentage and hemoglobin content of K562 cells were obtained in 50?mol/L of hemin inducing condition. The suppression subtractive library of hemin-inducing K562 cells was constructed after K562 cells were induced by 50?mol/L of hemin. The library identification showed that the positive clones contain inserts in different length respectively. Conclusions The suppression subtracted cDNA library of hemin-inducing K562 cells were successfully constructed. This subtracted cDNA library combined with bioinformatics analysis can be used to explore structures and functions of hemin-inducing expression genes in K562 cells.

Objective To study the indication,method and value of choledochal exploration through cystic duct.Methods The cystic duct was cut 0.5～1 cm from choledochus and its edge was raised with a forceps and a bakes dilator was inserted to probe the bill duct.If the dilator can not pass the choledochus,palpation around the point of dilator would help to distinguish the stone tumor or narrow.Results In 51 patients with cholecystitis and cholelithiasis,36 were explorated,of which 6 had the explorative indications,4 were postive(66.6%);in 30 without the indications,3 were positive(10%).The total positvity was 19.4%.Conclusions This method is less traumatic,convenient and able to find choledochal disease accurately.The exploration would be done if the cystic duct is over 0.3 cm in diameter.

Objective To analysis the spiral CT scan diagnosis value of lymph node metastasis in thoracic esophageal carcinoma and investigate the rules of lymph node metastasis distributions.Methods 117 patients with surgically and pathologically proved esophageal carcinoma underwent CT scans of the chest before the surgical operation to identify the presence of lymph node metastasis and evaluate the diagnosis value of spiral CT in lymph node metastasis.CT imaging which was detected by CT and histopathological analysis performed with attention to the distribution characteristics.Results In 117 cases of esophageal patients,the diagnosis of sensitivity,specific and accuracy degree on lymph node metastasis were 86.0 ％,80.6 ％,84.6 ％.The most lymph node metastasis in the upper thoracic esophagus is the mediastinum group[8/14(57.1％)]and the trachea group[4/14(28.6 ％)].the middle is on the trachea surrounding group[21/41(51.2 ％)],the main pulmonary artery window group[17/41(41.5 ％)]and subcarinal group[15/41(36.6 ％)].the lower thoracic esophagus is around the side of preventriculus[7/19(36.8 ％)]and the left gastric artery[5/19(26.3 ％)]respectively.Conclusion Spiral CT imaging can accurately evaluate the lymph node metastasis of esophageal and distribution characteristics.

OBJECTIVE:To probe into the status quo and the future tendency of the hematological system drugs used in Guangdong area.METHODS:The hematological system drugs used in over60hospitals of Guangdong area between2000and2004were analyzed statistically with respect to drug variety and amount of money.RESULTS:The amount of money of hematological system drugs increased year by year;that of the joint venture manufactured drugs and the domestic drugs in?creased year by year;filgrastim dominated the first in terms of amount of money.CONCLUSION:The domestic enterprises should strengthen the research and development of drugs and further increase their market share so as to satisfy the needs of more patients.

Background Bevacizumab and triamcinolone acetonide (TA) has been widely used in the treatment of diabetic macular edema (DME) clinically,but the effectiveness of both treatment has disadvantage.Therefore,some researchers try to combine bevacizumab with TA for the management of DME,but its efficacy is controversial.Objective This study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of intraovitreal injection of bevacizumab combined with TA versus bevacizumab for DME.Methods The randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of bevacizumab combined with TA versus bevacizumab via intraovitreal injection for DME were searched from Pubmed,EMbase,Cochrane Library,CNKI.The methodological quality of the literature was evaluated according to evidencebased medicine (EBM),and the quality of the RCTs was appraised based on the Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions Version 5.0.The outcome indicators including the change values of central macular thickness (CMT) and best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) as well as the safety indicators including topical and system adverse response of RCTs were analyzed with Cochrane Collaboration' s software RevMan 5.0.Results Nine RCTs were included with 665 eyes.The decrease value of CMT was more remarkable in the bevacizumab combined with TA group than that of the only bevacizumab group 12 weeks and 18 weeks after intravitreal injection (WMD =-44.69,95％ CI:25.27-64.11,P ＜ 0.000 001 ; WMD =-66.86,95％ CI:40.67-93.05,P ＜ 0.000 001).However,no significant differences were found in the change value of CMT in 6 weeks and 6 months after injection between the two groups (WMD =-15.40,95％ CI:-4.04-34.85,P =0.12 ; WMD =-2.57,95％ CI:-19.62-24.75,P =0.82).The improvement value of BCVA (LogMAR) in the bevacizumab combined with TA group was superior to that of the only bevacizumab group 6 weeks after injection (WMD =-0.04,95 ％ CI:-0.08--0.00,P =0.05),but there were no significant differences between the two groups at 12weeks,18 weeks and 6 months after treatment (WMD =-0.04,95％ CI:-0.12-0.05,P=0.36;WMD =-0.04,95％ CI:-0.11-0.03,P=0.28; WMD =0.03,95％ CI:-0.05-0.12,P=0.45).The incidence rate of transient anterior response after injection was not significantly different between the two groups (RR =0.89,95％ CI:0.49-1.60,P =0.70).Secondary ocular hypertension after injection occurred in 30 eyes in the bevacizumab combined with TA group,but no hypertension was seen in the only bevacizumab group.Conclusions Compared with only bevacizumab,intravitreal injection of bevacizumab combined with TA has a better efficacy in improving CMT but no obvious dominant in increasing BCVA for early DME.Intravitreal injection of bevacizumab combined with TA seemingly has a higher risk of inducing controllable ocular hypertension than administration of only bevacizumab.

Objective To analyse the X-ray and CT manifestations of sacral primary tumor.Methods 10 cases with sacral primary tumors verified by pathology,including sacral chordoma(n=5),giant cell tumor(n=2),chondrosarcoma(n=2),neurilemmomas(n=1),were analysed retrospectively.Results (1)The manifestations of CT and X-ray of sacral chordoma presented as a midline destructive lesion,involving prominently at sacrum 3～5,with flocculent calcification and irregular bone crests.(2)Giant cell tumor involved predominately sacrum 1～3 with expansile destructive area and commonly in young adults.(3)Chondrosarcoma and neurilemmomas had difference characteristic on X-ray film and CT.One case with chondrosarcoma had bone destruction in sacrum 1～3 and giant mass grow into pelvis.Conclusion CT combined with X-ray film is helpful in diagnosis and differential diagnosis of sacral primary tumors.

Objective To investigate the epidemiological characteristics and risk factors of clonorchiasis of hospital patients in Heilongjiang Province,so as to provide the evidence for formulating the control and prevention strategies. Methods A total of 2 359 suspected patients from human parasitic disease research institute of Harbin medical university were investigated. Total?ly 6 718 stool samples and 2 359 serum samples were tested by Kato?Katz technique and the enzyme linked immune method re?spectively. Meanwhile,the information of the patients was collected by questionnaires. Results Totally 513 suspected patients were infected with Clonorchis sinensis. The infection rate of the suspected patients was higher in the ≥29 group(P<0.05), and the infection rate and positive rate of blood tests of the rural suspected patients were both higher than those of the urban sus?pected patients(both P<0.05). The habit of eating raw fish and shrimp was the risk factor of clonorchiasis. Conclusion Clo?norchiasis is one of the main food?borne parasitic diseases in Heilongjiang Province. The habit of eating raw fish and shrimp is the risk factor of clonorchiasis.

Objective To study the damaging effect of tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-?) and Interleukin-1?(IL-1?) on brain of rats in acute pancreatitis(AP). Mothods AP pancreatitis model in rats was induced by retrograde injection of 5% sodium taurocholate into the pancreatobiliary duct(1ml/kg body weight), then pretreated with normal saline (NS) or TNF-??IL-1?, TNF-? plus IL-1? respectively. Animals were killed at 5 h after drugs administration. The changes of brain water contents, leukocyte accumulation and adhesion were measured, and pathological studies of pancreas and brain were also performed. Results In groups with inflammatory cytokines pretreated, brain water contents, leukocyte accumulation and adhesion increased more significantly than those in control group and in NS pretreated group(P0.05). Conclusions Inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-? and IL-1? play important roles in the formation and acceleration of the brain damage in acute pancreatitis.
