Objective To investigate the clinical manifestations, treatment and prognosis of reversible posterior leukoencephalopathy syndrome (RPLS) after acute lymphoblastic leukemia chemotherapy. Methods The clinical and imaging data of one case with acute lymphoblastic leukemia were analyzed and literatures were reviewed. Results The main clinical presentation of the patient included abdominal distension, repeated fever with fatigue.Depend on the results of the blood routine test and bone marrow relative examinations, the patient was diagnosed as acute lymphoblastic leukemia pro-B cell high risk group. After the induction therapy and consolidation chemotherapy, hypertension and neurological symptoms were appeared.Combined with the imaging examination,it was diagnosed as RPLS.Recieved active treatment, the patient recovered completely, and the imaging test was improved rapidly. Conclusion The causes of RPLS are variety, and its clinical manifestations and imaging test are non-specific.RPLS has a favorable prognosis. The correct diagnosis and treatment are the key points.

AIM: To establish the quality standard of Siang Pure Oil (menthol, peppermint oil, camphor, cassia oil, basil oil, etc.). METHODS: TLC was used for the identification of cassia oil and basil oil. Capillary gas chromatography (CGC) was used for the identification and determination of camphor and menthol. RESULTS: The TLC and CGC identification were highly specific. The standard curves of camphor and menthol were linear in the range of 0.1018~0.1832?g, and of 0.5947~1.3875?g, respectively. The average recoveries of camphor and menthol were 102.4%, 99.2% and the RSD were 2.3%, 1.4%, respectively. CONCLUSION: This quality standard is capable of effectively controlling the quality of Siang Pure Oil.

ObjectiveTo explore the effect of early rehabilitation on patients with severe traumatic brain injury.Methods89 patients with severe traumatic brain injury were divided randomly into the treatment group (49 cases) and control group (40 cases). All patients of two groups were treated with routine nursing, dehydrated drug, brain protective therapy and alimental therapy, and measures of preventing complications. While, the patients of the treatment group were added with motor and cognitive rehabilitation, mainly physical therapy, combined with occupational therapy, psychotherapy and speech therapy. All patients of two groups were evaluated with scores of activities of daily living (ADL), Disability Rating Scale (DRS), Fugl-Mayer Assessment (FMA), Mini-mental status examination (MMSE), three class balance scale before and after treatment.ResultsThe scores of ADL, DRS, FMA and balance function of the patients in the treatment group were significantly different from that of the control group after treatment ( P<0.05).The MMSE scores of two groups had no significantly difference after treatment ( P>0.05).ConclusionEarly rehabilitation can improve the brain function of the patients with severe traumatic brain injury, patients' living quality and ADL.
