1.Application of the TMS-EEG technique in cognitive research
International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2009;32(3):157-161
Since the transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a non-invasive technique to interfere neu-ral activity of brain, the combination of TMS and other neuron-imaging techniques has been widely used, espe-cially in cognitive research. Electroencephalogram (EEG) occupies a special position in this field due to its higher time resolution and lower experimental cost. The present paper reviews the application of TMS-EEG combined technique from the aspects of the main research topics, simultaneous recording, artifacts elimination, data pro-cessing and so on. Current problems and possible solution related to this technique are also discussed in the pa-per. With those new related solutions being put forward, more achievements will be obtained in the research area of TMS-EEG combined technique.

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2016;32(15):1147-1151
Objective To investigate the nurses′tasks in community hospitals in southwest China, so as to provide references for building nursing profession advanced examination system matching with the clinical requirements of community. Methods Different Professional Titles Nurses′ Tasks Questionnaire developed by the Ministry of Health was used to investigate 201 nurses in 10 community hospitals that were randomly selected in southwest China. Results Nurse professional title with primary title mainly accounted for 59.20% (119/201),and the nurses who had received secondary and college degree accounted for 43.28%(87/201), 38.81%(78/201). 120 items of nursing tasks were divided into 8 dimensions, the highest of implementation frequency score was the dimension related with drug treatment which scored 3.05±1.18, while the lowest was related with meeting the patients′basic needs which scored 1.40 ± 1.05; the highest of tasks′ importance assess score was the task dimension related with drug treatment which scored 3.36 ± 0.56, while the lowest was the dimension of communications which scored 2.74 ± 0.81. The correlation analysis of execution frequency and importance assess of each dimension showed a significant positive correlation (r=0.161-0.397,P<0.05), except the dimension related with drug treatment(r=0.128,P>0.05). Score difference of tasks’execution frequency and importance evaluation for different Professional titles nurses had no statistical significance (P>0.05). Conclusions The reform of the nurses′career advanced examination should be combined with development status and nurses′tasks in community, in addition, both raising the nurses′ comprehensive quality and improving job responsibilities and functions division of community is the basis of the reform.

Clinical Medicine of China 2011;27(8):802-804
Objective To assess the predicting value of homocysteine ( HCY), low density lipoprotein cholesterin (LDL-C) and carotid intima-media thickness (IMT) for women with coronary artery disease (CAD). Methods To choose 115 patients with CAD and 102 patients of non-CAD;Homocysteine, LDL-C and IMT were assayed respectively;comparison and correlation analysis were performed based on genders. Results The rates for hyperhomocysteinemia and High Lipoproteinaemia in female CAD patients are 59. 6% and 75.0%,respectively,while they are 69. 9% and 78.6% for male CAD patients, which are both remarkably higher than 23.0% ,26.7%, 22. 2% and 23.6% in non-CAD patients ( Ps < 0. 05 ). ROC curve shows that the best diagnostic boundary point is 0.953 mm for female IMT and 1. 021 mm for male IMT. At the boundary point, the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value are 83.7% ,91.4% ,95.7% and 63. 8% in female, much higher than 62.9%, 65.3%, 76.2% and 53.3% in male. Conclusion hyperhomocysteinemia, high lipoproteinaemia are the important risk factors for women with coronary artery disease;IMT might be used as the predictor of CAD, which have more advantages for female than for male patients.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(03):-
AIM To study the effects of recombinant human IL 1 receptor antagonist (IL 1ra) on isolated airway smooth muscle tissue. METHODS Changes of isolated organ's tension were monitored with force displacement transducer and MedLab recording system. RESULTS ①IL 1ra haddirect relaxant effect in normal and ovalbumin sensitized pulmonary as well as tracheal smooth muscle. The mean EC 50 values were 1 29?10 -8 mol?L -1 and 8 06?10 -8 mol?L -1 in normal pulmonary and tracheal smooth muscle, but the mean EC 50 values were 2 61?10 -7 mol?L -1 and 5 88?10 -7 mol?L -1 in ovalbumin sensitized pulmonary and tracheal smooth muscle. Therefore the relaxation responses of sensitized airway smooth muscle to IL 1ra were lower than those of normal pulmonary and tracheal smooth muscle.②IL 1ra(10 -9 ~10 -5 mol?L -1 ) concentration dependently inhibit contraction responses to histamine(10 -3 mol?L -1 ) in normal pulmonary and tracheal smooth muscle, compared with administrating solvent PBS group ( P

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2008;24(15):1-3
Objective To discuss the effect of music therapy on anxiety control of patients with maxillofacial cancer. Methods 140 cases in head and neck surgery department were divided into the test group and the control group with 70 cases in each group from March 2004 to November 2005.The test group received music intervention based on routine nursing. The degree of anxiety was evaluated on the first day of hospitalization(T1),the previous day before the operation(T2),the first day after operation(T3)and the third day after operation after listening to music. The control group only received routine nursing. The condition of anxiety at different time points was evaluated and compared. Results The scores of anxiety(SAS)in the two groups were statistically different(P<0.05).The intra-group comparison of anxiety degree in the test group(T1-T2,T1-T3,T1-T4)had statistical difference(P<0.05).The intra-group comparison of anxiety degree in the control group(T1-T2,T1-T3)had no statistical difference(P>0.05).While evident difference existed in T1-T4 in the control group.P<0.05.Conclusion Music intervention facilitated the rehabilitation of anxiety condition in cancer patients.

International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2009;31(2):107-108
Objective To study the effect of Naotongliting capsule (NLC) on hemorheology and platelet aggregation in blood stasis rats. Method The rat model of blood stasis was established with adrenaline subcutaneous injection in combination with ice-water socking. Aspirin and Yangjiao capsule were selected as contrast medicine to observe the effect of NLC on whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, haematocrit, fibrin and platelet aggregation in blood stasis rats. Result NLC could reduce hemorheology and platelet aggregation in blood stasis rats. Conclusion NLC is helpful to adjust hemorheology and plateiet aggregation in blood stasis rats, indicating its good effect of activating blood circulation to remove blood stasis.
