1.Theory and technique characteristics of anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with hamstring tendon
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(20):-
BACKGROUND: Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction is the major treatment for anterior cruciate ligament injury. Studies on anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with hamstring tendons developed rapidly. OBJECTIVE: To summarize anatomy, biodynamics and surgery approaches of anterior cruciate ligament, and the progress of anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with hamstring tendons. RETRIEVAL STRATEGY: Pubmed database was undertaken to identify relevant articles on anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with hamstring tendons published from January 1990 to October 2007 with the key words of "anterior cruciate ligament, hamstring tendons, reconstruction, tendon regeneration, bone tunnel enlargement" in English. Ninety-two articles were selected primarily, and checked by reading titles and abstracts. Inclusive criteria: articles on anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with hamstring tendons were included. Excusive criteria: articles with different aims and repetitive contents were excluded. Totally 42 articles were included, of which 2 articles were on animals, 2 articles on system evaluation/Meta analysis and 38 articles on clinical research. LITERATURE EVALUATION: Of them, 22 articles were on anatomy, biodynamics, surgery approaches and clinical results of anterior cruciate ligament, 9 on bone tunnel enlargement of anterior cruciate ligament after reconstruction and 11 on regeneration of hamstring tendons after harvest. DATA SYNTHESIS: With the deep understanding of double-bundle dissection and biodynamics of anterior cruciate ligament and bad control of single-bundle reconstruction on rotary stability, double-bundle anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with hamstring tendons has become the major treatment. Bone tunnel enlargement of anterior cruciate ligament after reconstruction is multifactorial process of biology and biodynamics, possibly resulting in reduction in primary stability after reconstruction and severe problems in graft fixation in revision surgery. Most hamstring tendons (first selected graft of double-bundle anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction) can regenerate, and partially recover its function, which determined its foundation for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction used by orthopedists. Bone tunnel enlargement of anterior cruciate ligament after reconstruction still deserves further studies. CONCLUSION: Double-bundle dissection and biodynamics of anterior cruciate ligament lay the foundation for improving surgery scheme. Double-bundle anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction can better control rotary stability of knee joint.
2.Research progress of PTEN pathway in anti-angiogenesis of tumors
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2013;22(10):634-636
PTEN is a dual protein/lipid phosphatase. As a negative regulator of PI3K/Akt pathway,PTEN not only plays an important role in multiple cellular functions such as cell metabolism,proliferation,cell-cycle progression, but also modulates angiogenesis via down-regulating PI3K-Akt-VEGF-HIF pathway in many tumors. In this review, the recent studies on the roles and mechanisms of PTEN in regulating tumorigenesis and angiogenesis are discussed to explore PTEN as a favorable prospect target in the treatment of angiogenesis.

Objective:To investigate the expressions of CD44v3 and CD54 in oral premalignant epithelia and its significance in the carcinogenesis of oral mucosa. Methods:The expressions of CD44v3 and CD54 in 19 cases of normal mucosa and mucosal hyperplasia,22 case of dysplastic epithelia,26 cases of oral cancer mucosa were detected by using immunohistochemistry.Results:CD44v3 and CD54 proteins showed no expression or micro-expression in normal and hyperplastic epithelia. The expressions increased in the dysplastic epithelia and mucosa of oral cancer gradually. The difference between the expressions of the three groups was significant(P

West China Journal of Stomatology 2002;20(3):187-189
OBJECTIVEThe purpose of this study was to investigate the role of nuclear morphometric parameters, DNA content and Ag-NOR count in the differentiating malignant and benign ameloblastomas.
METHODSTotally 17 cases of malignant ameloblastomas were examined by using HE, AgNOR and DNA stain methods. Morphometric parameters of cell nuclei, DNA content and AgNOR count were quantitatively studied by using an image analysis system.
RESULTSSeven parameters (area, perimeter, equal diameter, minor diameter, mean diameter, round index, axis ratio) out of ten shape factors were significantly different between malignant and benign ameloblastoma (P < 0.01). AgNOR count and DNA index in malignant ameloblastoma were significantly higher than those in benign ameloblastoma (P < 0.01). Logistic regression equation was established, according to nuclear morphormetric parameters and DNA index.
CONCLUSIONQuantitative analysis of DAN content, nuclear morphmetric parameters and AgNOR count may be helpful in differentiating malignant and benign ameloblastomas.

Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Medical Sciences) 2004;24(6):535-6, 555
The aim of this study was to express and purify human histydyl-tRNA synthetase related gene and to prepare its polyantibody. The open reading frame was amplified by PCR, and then recombined into prokaryotic expression vector pQE30 and transformed into E. coli M15 for expression. The expressed products were induced by IPTG after the reconstructed pQE30 was transferred into M15. After purified by Ni affinity chromatography, the product was identified to be a single band by SDS-PAGE. The rabbits were inoculated with purified products. High-titer polyantibody was successfully prepared. Highly-purified expression product and prepared polyantibody may provide a good basis for further study.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2016;32(3):432-433
RT-PCR and Western blot were used to detect the LATS2 mRNA and protein level in 57 cases of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC)specimens and 12 normal oral mucosa tissues.LATS2 mRNA and protein were expressed in all the normal oral mucosa samples (100%),but only 47.4% (27 /57)and 42.1% (24 /57)in OSCC samples respectively with positive correlation of both(P <0.01),and were respectively correlated with the tumor differentiation degree and lymph node metastasis(P <0.05).

Objective To observe the structure of cognitive injury and the effect of psychologic behavior training on cognitive function in community chronic schizophrenic patients. Methods80 healthy adults (control group) and 76 community chronic schizophrenia patients (research group) were assessed with World Health Organization-battery of cognitive assessment instrument for elderly (WHO-BCAI), mini-mental state examination (MMSE), and activities of daily living (ADL) pre- and post-psychologic behavior training. ResultsThere were significant differences in the scores of WHO-BCAI, MMSE, ADL between control group and research group (P<0.05 or P<0.01). 12 months after training, all the scores of research group significantly improved compared with that before training (P<0.05 or P<0.01). ConclusionCognitive disorders have occurred in the community chronic schizophrenia patients in wide range. Psychologic behavior training can improve their cognitive function.
