2.Research of teaching mode of professional value of nursing students based on Chinese medicine culture
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2013;29(29):4-7
Objective To evaluate the effects of developing professional value of nursing students based on Chinese medicine culture. Methods 69 nursing students in the second year were divided into the intervention group(n=34) and the control group (n=35).The students in the intervention group received a 3-month education project based on Chinese medicine culture, while the control group received only routine education plan. The effect of the intervention was evaluated by nursing professional values-R (NPVS-R) at the end of the intervention. Results The scores of NPVS-R including total scores and the scores of the two dimensions of caregiving and behavioristic in the intervention group significantly increased compared with those in the control group. Conclusions The intervention of developing professional value of nursing students based on Chinese medicine culture can improve the level of professional value.
3.Investigation on hypertension and related risk factors among returning nationals in Zhangzhou city of Fujian
Chinese Journal of cardiovascular Rehabilitation Medicine 2013;22(4):334-338
Objective: To study epidemiological characteristics of hypertension in returning nationals and their offspring, and analyze its relative risk factors. Methods: A total of 1 278 returning nationals were randomly selected as nationals group, and 1 267 local residents were regard as local residents group. All subjects received questionnaire and physical examination. Multifactor logistic regression analysis was used to analyze relative risk factors. Results: Incidence rate of hypertension was 19.25% in nationals group (standardized rate was 16.23%), which was significantly higher than 13.10% of local residents group (standardized rate was 11.04%) (χ2=17.72, P<0.01). As age increased, incidence rate of hypertension showed an increasing trend, which started to significantly rise in 30~ years group. Multi-factor Logistic regression analysis indicated that factors entered equation were gender, age, alcohol drinking, high-fat diet, dyslipidemia, body mass index, genetic factor and exercises, and their OR values were 1.76, 2.37, 3.62, 2.98, 1.86, 3.15, 3.12 and 2.74 respectively. Conclusion: Incidence rate of hypertension in returning nationals is significantly higher than that of local residents. Incidence rate of hypertension of returning nationals showed an increasing trend. Their risk factors were age, alcohol drinking, high-fat diet, dyslipidemia, body mass index, genetic factor and exercises etc.

Chinese Journal of Hepatobiliary Surgery 2009;15(5):350-351
Objective To determine the clinical value of intraoperative cholangiography in mini-cholecystectomy. Methods The clinical data of 506 patients receiving intraoperative cholangiography in minicholecystectomy from 1992 to 2006 in our hospital were analyzed retrospectively. Results Intr-aoperative cholangiography was successfully completed in 403 patients. The success rate was 97.4%.Stones in the bile duct in 49 patients, abnormal bite duet in 4 patients and bile duct injury in 4 patient were found. The cuts were extended in 16 patients. Conclusion Intraoperative cholangiography is of great value in inducing postoperative complications and improving the quality of MC. Therefore, it can be used to prevent residual stone after operation, avoid bile duct exploration or injury, decrease the chance of extending the cut and make sure of abnormal bile duct.

Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1993;0(02):-
By applying advanced technique such as cytological CT the action of 926, a Chinese drug, on ascitis cervical cancer cells was observed. Results revealed that it destroys the DNA and RNA of cancer cell, prevent it from synthesis of nucleic acid and cellular proliferation. These has upgraded the experimental research to a new level.

Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2000;0(12):-
Objective To study the correlation between postoperative tumor recurrence and VEGF expression in preoperative biopsy specimens of early gastric carcinoma together with p53 gene abnormality and tumor cell proliferation. Methods Sixty-eight endoscopically biopsied specimens obtained preoperativelly from patients with early gastric carcinoma were studied immunohistochemically. Date was processed by computer image analysis system. Result The rate of VEGF positivity was significantly higher in patients (n=5) with postoperative tumor recurrence than in those (n=63) without (5/5 vs. 14/63, P

Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics 2006;0(10):-
Red fluorescent proteins (RFPs) produced from a number of Anthozoa species have been subjected to a series of in vitro molecular evolution, resulting in various emission spectra ranging from 570 nm to 655 nm and thus providing powerful tools for cellular imaging or even body imaging. This article briefly reviewed the optical properties, structures and mutagenesis of RFPs and their applications.

Chinese Journal of Digestive Endoscopy 2001;0(01):-
Objective To study on the effectiveness of endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) in diagnosing common bile duct (CBD) stones. Methods Accuracies for the diagnosis of choledocholithiasis by abdominal ultrasonography ( B-US) and computed tomography (CT) are compared with those by EUS in 45 patients. Final diagnosis is determined by endoscopic retrograde cholangiography ( ERC) with or without sphincterotomy ( EST) or operative exploration. Results Forty-three out of 45 patients with choledtx-holithia sis were diagnosed by EUS, of them 2 patients with slight dilation of common bile duct in which stones were confirmed in the proximal part of common bile duct by EST. In 2 out of 43 patients EST and operation diagnosed cholecystolithiasis instead of choledocholilhiasis. The sensitivity and the positive predictive value are both 95%. With 41 patients choledocholithiasis were confirmed by EUS, the sizes of stone were diameter ≥ 10mm in 5 patients, 6-9 mm in 10 patients and ≤5mm in 26 patients. Four out of 45 patients were suspected to have CBD stones and 2 patients had tumor in periampullar area by B-US. Three patients were diagnosed to have CBD stone and 1 patient was suspected to have tumor in peri-ampullar area by CT. Conclusions EUS appears to be the best diagnostic tool for the diagnosis of choledocholithiasis compared with other noninvasive procedures such as B-US and CT. EUS is at least as sensitive as ERC especially in diagnosis of small CBD stones.

Multiple cropping has a long history in China, and been used widely in other countries of the world. Be-cause the multiple cropping of medicinal plants (MCMP) partially alleviates land-use contradiction between medici-nal plants and crops, this cropping system is an optimization for cultivation pattern of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and important for sustainable development of TCM resources. In this paper, we reviewed the concept, devel-opment history, theoretical basis, and main patterns about MCMP, analyzed the effect of multiple cropping on growth, yield, effective components, pest and disease control of medicinal plants, evaluated the ecological and economic ben-efits of MCMP, and discussed issues and prospects in the research of MCMP. This information can be useful for the medicinal plant cultivators.
