Chinese Journal of Immunology 2010;26(3):224-227
Objective:In order to study the antitumor effect of AD injection and its immunological mechanisms. Methods:Liver cancer H22-bearing mice were treated with AD injection and 7 days later to observe the effect of AD injection on the inhibitory rate of tumor, indexes of thymus and spleen, lymphocytes transformation function, phagocytosis of the peritoneal macrophage, activity of TNF,the level of IL-2 and IFN-α in serum. Results:AD injection could inhibit the growth of tumor in bearing mice significantly and promote the transformation function of lymphocytes and enhance the peritoneal macrophage phagocytosis and the activities of TNF.AD injection could improve the level of IL-2 of spleen cells and IFN-α in serum. Conclusion:These results suggested that AD injection could obviously inhibit the growth of tumor and enhance the immune functions in bearing mice.

Objective To explore the effect of estrogen on striatal neurons damage in rats induced by quinolinic acid (QA).Methods Ovariectomized rats were divided into two groups:non-replacement treatment group (recievied intrastriatal application of QA alone) and replacement treatment group (received both QA and 17-? estradiol). Striatal neurons injury was evaluated using NADPH-diaphorase histochemistry and the rotation number of rats induced by apomorphine was recorded. Activity of SOD and contents of MDA in striatum was measured by xanthine oxidase and thio-barbital method, respectively. Results Compared with non-replacement treatment group, there was a significant increase in the number of NADPH-diaphorase positive neurons ( P

Fifteen novel 5-substituted-2-(pyridyl)benzothiazole compounds were designed and synthesized by simple hydrolization and condensation reaction of the 2-amino-5-substituent benzothiazole. Activities of these synthesized compounds were evaluated on Bcap-37, HCT-15 and HepG2 tumor cells in vitro by standard MTT assay. 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) was used as the positive control. The results revealed that most of the new compounds had potent effects on Bcap-37, HCT-15 and HepG2 tumor cells, and had no or less effect on 293T and L02 normal cells. Particularly, compounds 1c and 2e exhibited better activities on HCT-15 and HepG2 cells with IC50 values of 41.59 and 38.65 micromol x L(-1), and 1i showed excellent activities on Bcap-37 and HepG2 cells with IC50 values of 46.63 and 23.51 micromol x L(-1), respectively. The structure-activity relationship of 5-substituted-2-(pyridyl)benzothiazole compounds were also discussed preliminarily.

Insulin resistance and its compensatory hyperinsulinemia play a key pathogenic role in the infertility of the polycystic ovary syndrome.Numerous studies indicate that insulin sensitizing drugs can be used to enhance spontaneous ovulation and the induction ovulation in the syndrome,The aim of this review is to summarize the studies in which insulin sensitizing drugs were used to increase ovulation rate or improve fertility in women with the PCOS and to translate the information into practical guidelines for reproductive endocrinologist.

Clinical data of 12 patients with pernicious placenta previa admitted in our hospital from October 2015 to July 2016 were retrospectively reviewed.Bilateral internal ilia artery balloons were placed percutaneously before cesarean section. After cesarean delivery normal saline was applied to fill the balloon for temporary occlusion of bilateral iliac arteries, then placental separation and hysterorrhaphy were performed. The average volume of bleeding during cesarean section was 1 146 ml.There were no hysterectomy, pelvic organ necrosis, lower limb artery thromosis and other complications. The application of temporary internal iliac artery balloon occlusion can significantly reduce the intraoperative bleeding in cesarean section for patients with pernicious placenta previa. It provides a clear operational field for obstetricians to perform the placental separation and hysterorrhaphy, facilitating the uterine reservation.

Objective To investigate the effect of different dose of GM1 on inducing human adipose tissue-derived stromal cells (ADSCs) into neural cells. Methods Human ADSCs were isolated from human liposuction tissues and cultured in NIM with different dose of GM1, which was used to induce ADSCs into neural cells. The experiment was separated into six groups: control group (?-MEM), Group A (NIM), group B (NIM+50 ?mol/L GM1), group C (NIM+100 ?mol/L GM1), group D (NIM+200 ?mol/L GM1) and group E (NIM+400 ?mol/L GM1). Cells' growth and morphologic changes were observed under invert phase-contrast microscopy. The expressions of Nestin, NSE, MAP2 and GFAP were identified by immunocytochemistry methods. Results (1)ADSCs could differentiate into neural cells in NIM with different dose of GM1. The number of neural cells differentiated from ADSCs increased in a certain period, especially in group E at each time point (all P

Objective To discuss the perioperative nursing measures for interventional treatment of priapism caused by arteriovenous fistula of penis in order to reduce the operation-related complications and to promote rehabilitation. Methods A series of nursing steps were carried out in 2 patients who suffered from priapism caused by arteriovenous fistula of penis and received interventional therapy. The nursing measures included preoperative psychological nursing, routine preoperative examinations, promotion of friendly relations between nurse and patient, preparation for the operation method, the preparation of skin, postoperative nursing of patient's position, observation of penis erection and vital signs, postoperative psychological nursing, and the health guidance at the time of discharge. Results After the interventional therapy two patients were successfully cured at the time of discharge. No complications related to the operation occurred.Three months after the operation the erect function of the penis remained normal. Conclusion The interventional therapy is a safe and reliable technique for priapism caused by arteriovenous fistula of penis. The proper and effective perioperative and postoperative nursing measures can surely improve the successful rate of interventional treatment as well as prevent the occurrence of complications.

Chinese Journal of Forensic Medicine 1986;0(02):-
Objective To observe the degradation pattern of tubulin in the cardiac muscle and lung tissue of rats after death. Methods 24 young male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into 6 groups averagely. After being killed by bleeding, the rats were kept in an artificial climate incubator;the experimental temperature was kept at 20℃ and humidity at 50%.Proteins in cardiac muscle and lung tissue were extracted and tubulin was then examined by Western blot.Thereafter, the semi-quantitative analysis of the Western blot images was performed. Results Tubulin can be detected in the normal cardiac muscle and lung tissue of rats. After 1d postmortem, the tubulin content in these tissues began to decline, and it might still be detected at 7d postmortem, but the tubulin content in lung decreased faster than that in cardiac muscle.A linear relationship between tubulin content in cardiac muscle and lung of rats and the postmortem interval was determined. The linear regression equations and coefficients for integral optic density in relation to PMI were y=-1726.1x+14083 with correlative coefficient r=0.9684 for cardiac muscle and y=-1439.89x+12041 with correlative coefficient r=0.9808 for lung, respectively. Conclusion The level of tubulin in cardiac muscle and lung tissue of rats varied with PMI and the time dependent degradation of this protein was potentially useful for the PMI estimation.
