The present paper is to study the center line of the plantar pressure of normal young people, and to find the relation between center line of the plantar pressure and gait stability and balance. The paper gives the testing principle and calculating methods for geometric center of plantar pressure distribution and the center of pressure due to the techniques of footprint frame. The calculating formulas in both x direction and y direction are also deduced in the paper. In the experiments carried out in our laboratory, the gait parameters of 131 young subjects walking as usual speed were acquired, and 14 young subjects of the total were specially analyzed. We then provided reference data for the walking gait database of young people, including time parameters, space parameters and plantar pressure parameters. We also obtained the line of geometry center and pressure center under the foot. We found that the differences existed in normal people's geometric center line and the pressure center line. The center of pressure trajectory revealed foot movement stability. The length and lateral changes of the center line of the plantar pressure could be applied to analysis of the plantar pressure of all kinds of people. The results in this paper are useful in clinical foot disease diagnosis and evaluation of surgical effect.

Objective To use the matrix assisted laser desorption ionization time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS) technique for detecting the mutation gene of neonatal non-syndromic hereditary hearing impairment gene in Guangxi and to investigate its effectiveness and feasibility in clinical application.Methods A total of 7 100 newborns were performed the hearing preliminary screening and secondary screening by adopting AABR.The genomic DNA was extracted by the heel blood spot.Twenty mutation characteristics of 4 deaf predisposing genes were detected by MALDI-TOF-MS.Results The pass rate of hearing screening in 7 100 newborns was 97.11％ (6 895/7 100),the positive rate of neonatal gene mutation was 3.54％ (251/7 100),in which the GJB2 gene mutation was in 131 cases,the carrying rate was 1.84％,235delC heterozygous mutation was in 108 cases.SLC26A4 gene mutation was in 93 cases,which dominated by 1229C＞T heterozygous mutation and IVS7-2A＞G heterozygous mutation,mtDNA12SRNA gene mutation was in 16 cases and GJB3 gene mutation was in 11 cases.Conclusion Adopting the MALDI-TOF-MS screening technique can increase the detection rate of hot point mutation in common deaf related genes and discover neonatal genetic NSHI from molecular level and provides the corresponding geneticconsulting guidance for early finding and predicting deaf occurrence,and formulating the interventional measures.

Objective To analyze blood Met、 Phe 、Tyr、 Arg、 Cit、 Orn、 Ser、 Thr、 C0、 C2、 C3、 C14、C14 ∶ 1 , C16 , C16 ∶ 1 , C18 , C18 ∶ 1 and urine 4-OH-PHPLA , 4-OH-PHPPA level of NICCD patient and discuss the application value of diagnosis NICCD. Methods From May 2011 to May 2015, 21 NICCD patient were diagnose in Guangxi Newborn Screening Center. Meanwhile, 100 normal children were selected as the control group. Blood Met, Phe, Tyr and other factors and urine 4-OH-PHPLA, 4-OH-PHPPA level were analyzed by SPSS. Results In the experimental group, blood Met, Phe, Tyr and many other indexes and urine 4-OH-PHPLA, 4-OH-PHPPA level were higher and blood Orn/Cit were lower than the control group(P < 0.05), while blood C2and Cit/Arg were increased (P > 0.05). Conclusion NICCD patient has abnormal biochemical index. Blood test by TMS and urine test by GC-MS are very important in NICCD diagnosis.

Objective To establish a simple and rapid detection technique for Oncomelania infected with Schistosoma japonicum(SJ), with high sensitivity and good specificity .Methods The gene fragment of SJ was amplified by PCR , and cloned into the T-vector to construct positive-reference.An isothermal nucleic acid amplification reaction system for detecting Oncomelania infected with SJ was set up , and its sensitivity was analyzed by detecting positive-reference diluted according to geometric proportion , and its specificity by detecting the genomic DNA of relative samples .Then, a corresponding means of purifying nucleic acid was designed to assemble a reagent detecting Oncomelania infected with SJ . This reagent was validated by detecting Oncomelania samples.Results The 213 bp amplified products were obtained and used to construct recombination T-vector for positive reference .An isothermal nucleic acid amplification reaction system was set up for detecting Oncomelania infected with SJ , and the amplification results could be simply determined by color change, with better sensitivity and specificity .The reagents for detecting Oncomelania infected with SJ were assembled , which could detect samples containing only 1% infected Oncomelania.Conclusion A visible detection method for Oncomelania infected with SJ is successfully established and validated .

Objective:To study the morphologic standard values of craniofacial hard-tissue of the youths in Xi'an.Methods:CBCT scanned cephalometric data of 100 selected volunteers (50 males and 50 females)with individual normal occlusion were collected.31 landmarks and 31 measurements were compared between sexes and between 3D and 2D data with software InvivoDental 5.2,WinCeph 8.0.and SPSS 19.0.Results:1.In the 3D measurements,vertical growth of mandible in the females was more than that in the males. The values of torque of lower incisor,basis length,height of rumi mandibulae and length of corpora mandibulae in the males were bigger than those in the females.2.Compared with 2D measurements,there existed statistically significant differences in most parameters except U1-NA(mm).Conclusion:3D analysis with CBCT may provide more accurite morphologic data for craniofacial hard tissues.

Objective To analyze the effects of different thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) cut-off values on the screening of congenital hypothyroidism (CH) in newborns in Guangxi.Methods The TSH results of 83 608 newborns tested by Genetic Screening Processor (GSP) from the Genetic Metabolism Center of the Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from May 2017 to April 2018 were collected.Using the percentile method and the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve method,the TSH cut-off values were calculated and compared with the assumed cut-off values 9.00 or 10.00 mU/L,to analyze the effects of four different TSH cut-off values on CH screening.Results Using GSP,the TSH results of 83 608 newborns showed a positive skewed distribution,TSH cut-off value of the percentile method (P99) was 7.96 mU/L,836 cases were suspicious,43 cases were diagnosed with CH (6 cases were missed diagnosis),and 65 cases were high TSH (21 cases were missed diagnosis);TSH cut-off value of the ROC curve method was 6.45 mU/L,1 480 case were suspicious,49 cases were diagnosed with CH,and 86 cases were high TSH,both were no missed diagnosis;when TSH cut-off values were 9.00 or 10.00 mU/L,the suspicious were 478 and 305 cases,respectively,and the confirmed CH were 37 and 35 cases (missed diagnosis were 12 and 14 cases,respectively),high TSH were 46 and 33 cases (missed diagnosis were 40 and 53 cases,respectively).The CH incidence of the ROC curve method was compared with the percentile method and using the cut-off values 9.00 and 10.00 mU/L,the differences were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions The GSP and ROC curve method were used to successfully establish the TSH cut-off value on the screening of CH in newborns in Guangxi.The cut-off value can not only ensure the accuracy of screening,but also avoid missed diagnosis and reduce birth defects.

Objective: To evaluate effect of screening of esophageal cancer though comparing difference of survival level between screening and non-screening patients in Linzhou city. Methods: The records pathologically diagnosed as serious hyperplasia/carcinoma and esophageal cancer were drawn from database of first round screening in Linzhou city from 2005-2013 and were assigned to the screening group. The records of new esophageal cancer cases which diagnosed within 2 years before, screening from the same village aged from 40 to 69, were drawn from database of cancer registry in Linzhou city and were assigned to the non-screening group. Five or 10 year survival rate with 95%CI of patients with different malignant degree diseases in the screening group and the patients with esophageal cancer in the non-screening group was calculated respectively. The survival curves between the screening and non-screening group were compared by Log rank method. Results: All 26 908 persons were examined in first round screening in Linzhou city from 2005 to 2013. There were 374 persons with serious hyperplasia/carcinoma in situ, 157 persons with esophageal cancer (141 intramucosal carcinomas/submucosal cancers, 16 invasive cancers). The 5 year survival rate of serious hyperplasia/carcinoma, intramucosal carcinoma/submucosal cancer and invasive cancer were 95.0% (95%CI: 91.7%-97.0%) , 72.0% (95%CI: 62.7%-79.3%) and 41.7% (95%CI: 17.4%-64.6%) separately. The 5 year survival rate of esophageal cancer in screening and non-screening group were 68.7% (95%CI:59.9%-75.9%) and 40.8% (95%CI: 36.4%-45.2%). The 10 year survival rate of esophageal cancer in screening and non-screening group were 58.0% (95% CI: 44.6%-69.3%) and 34.3% (95% CI:29.1%-39.5%). The 5 or 10 year survival rate of esophageal cancer in the screening group were higher than that in the non-screening group in whatever sex or age. The survival distribution of the screening group was better than non-screening group (χ²=38.88, P<0.001). Conclusion More precancerous lesions and early esophageal cancer can be detected and patients' survival level was improved through organized esophageal cancer screening, which provided support to evaluate value of organized screening.

BACKGROUND:Patients with degenerative cervical spondylosis often suffer from changed varicosity of the cervical spine,unbalanced neck-shoulder muscular strength,and descending power. OBJECTIVE:To probe into the correlation between sagittal curvature parameters and pain threshold for neck-shoulder muscles in degenerative cervical spondylosis. METHODS:Totally 50 patients with degenerative cervical spondylosis received treatment at the 3D Printed Outpatient Center of Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital,Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine from January 2022 to March 2023 were included in the study.After excluding the 10 patients of cervical lateral projection that failed to meet the measurement conditions,the cervical lateral projections were shot to measure the following iconography parameters:Borden value and C2-7 Cobb angle as well as pain thresholds on the midpoint of the superior trapezius muscle in bilateral bundles and at 1 cm beside the C5-6 interspike.The correlation between sagittal curvature parameters and pain threshold of neck-shoulder muscles in degenerative cervical spondylosis was analyzed. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)The Borden value of sagittal curvature showed a moderately positive correlation with the bundle pain threshold in the left upper trapezius muscle,the bundle pain threshold in the right upper trapezius muscle,and the pain threshold at the 1 cm of the left side beside the C5-6 interspike(r=0.498,P<0.01;r=0.448,P<0.05;r=0.405,P<0.05)and a weak positive correlation with the pain threshold at the 1 cm of the right side beside the C5-6 interspike(r=0.322,P<0.05).(2)The C2-7 Cobb angle showed a weak positive correlation with the left squared myalgia threshold(r=0.355,P<0.05),and there was no correlation with the pain threshold of the left trapezius muscle and the pain threshold at the 1 cm of both sides beside the C5-6 interspike.(3)There was a correlation between the pain threshold of the neck-shoulder muscles,and a high correlation between the pain threshold of the left and right muscles and the pain threshold within the left and right side muscles,indicating that the neck-shoulder muscles are consistent and may be related to the coordination of the neck-shoulder movements.

BACKGROUND:Red light therapy has the non-invasive and cost-effective characteristics,and is widely used in various acute and chronic pains in clinic.However,currently,the phototherapy equipment used in clinic is expensive and has certain site limitations,so it is necessary to explore more convenient and economical phototherapy applications. OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical efficacy of a self-developed photon cervical vertebra massage instrument for chronic neck pain. METHODS:From November 2022 to February 2023,24 patients with chronic neck pain were recruited from the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine,Ninth People's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine,including 18 females and 6 males,with a mean age of(29.67±6.40)years.The body mass index was(21.39±3.52)kg/m2.Photon cervical vertebra massage instrument was used twice a day for 20 minutes each time for four weeks.The changes in visual analog scale score,pressure pain threshold,neck active activity,neck disability index,and Pittsburgh sleep quality index were observed before,after 2 and 4 weeks of treatment. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)Compared with before treatment,after four weeks of treatment,visual analog scale score,pressure pain threshold,neck disability index,and Pittsburgh sleep quality index were all improved(P<0.05),while some cervical motion(extension,left and right rotation)improved(P<0.05)after 4 weeks of treatment.(2)Bilateral visual analog scale scores,left trapezius muscle pressure pain threshold,C5C6 pressure pain threshold,and neck disability index improved after 2 weeks of treatment(P<0.05).(3)It is indicated that the application of photon cervical vertebra massage instrument can improve the pain score,muscle tenderness,sleep quality,functional level,and partial active activity of patients with chronic neck pain in a short period,and is a convenient,effective,and safe treatment method.

Spinal cord injury (SCI) is a disabling and destructive central nervous system injury that has not yet been successfully treated at this stage. Three-dimensional (3D) bioprinting has become a promising method to produce more biologically complex microstructures, which fabricate living neural constructs with anatomically accurate complex geometries and spatial distributions of neural stem cells, and this is critical in the treatment of SCI. With the development of 3D printing technology and the deepening of research, neural tissue engineering research using different printing methods, bio-inks, and cells to repair SCI has achieved certain results. Although satisfactory results have not yet been achieved, they have provided novel ideas for the clinical treatment of SCI. Considering the potential impact of 3D bioprinting technology on neural studies, this review focuses on 3D bioprinting methods widely used in SCI neural tissue engineering, and the latest technological applications of bioprinting of nerve tissues for the repair of SCI are discussed. In addition to introducing the recent progress, this work also describes the existing limitations and highlights emerging possibilities and future prospects in this field.
