Objective To investigate the correlations between chlamydia pneumoniae (Cpn) infection and acute myocardial infarction(AMI). Methods Specific antibodies and DNA to Cpn were measured in 51 patients with AMI(AMI group),42 patients with elderly myocardial infarction (OMI group) and 31 normal controls (NC group), 33 patients(UC group)who had no angiographic evidence of coronary artery disease. Moreover, the levels of fibrinogen(Fg),6-ketoprostaglandin f1alpha(6-Keto-PGF1?),thromboxane B2(TXB2) and P-selection(GMP 140) were determined in the four groups. Results The prevalence of Cpn IgG antibody was associated with AMI(OR 3.65).Adjustment for the major cardiovascular risk factors did not attenuate this correlation(OR 3.17). Those who were Cpn positive in the AMI group had significantly higher levels of Fg,TXB2 and GMP 140, and a significantly lower level of 6-Keto-PGF1? than those who were Cpn negative in the same group.Correlation analysis revealed that the average concentration of IgG antibody to Cpn was positively associated with the levels of Fg,TXB2 and GMP140 but negatively associated with the level of 6-Keto-PGF1? in the Cpn positive patients of the AMI group. Conclusions There is a significant correlation between Cpn infection and AMI. Cpn infection is associated with the levels of Fg,TXB2, 6-Keto-PGF1? and GMP140 in plasma.

The efectienes of acpuncture for smoking cessation was systematically evaluated in this paper. By using computer retrieval in Chinese national knowledge infrastructure (CNKI), WANFANG database, VIP database, PubMed, ScienceDirect and Springer, the randomized controlled trials (RCTs) regarding acupuncture for smoking cessation from January of 1983 to December of 2013 were collected; by using Table of Standardized Report Factors for Acupuncture RCTs, each inclusive RCT was evaluated; and by using RevMan 5. 2 software, the Meta-analysis was performed. Totally 24 RCTs were included, involving 3084 cases of smoking. The result of literature quality assessment showed that the average score was 25. 71 points without low-quality RCT which had a score of less than 16 points. The Meta-analysis showed that acupuncture could significantly increase the short-time abstinence rate [RR=1. 48, 95% CI (1. 18,1. 84), Z=3. 47, P<0. 0005] and number of cigarettes smoked daily [RR=4. 35, 95% CI (2. 03, 6. 66), Z=3. 68, P<0. 001] and FTND [RR=2. 37, 95% CI (1. 88, 2. 86), Z= 9. 44, P<0. 00001], however, it could not increase the long-time abstinence rate [RR=1. 40, 95% Cl (0. 90, 2.17), Z=1. 49, P>0. 05]. Compared with other treatment, acupuncture has positive advantages on short-time abstinence rate, however, its effect on long-time abstinence rate needs to be verified by high-quality, large-sample and multi-center RCT in the future.

Journal of Regional Anatomy and Operative Surgery 2017;26(3):167-170
Objective To explore the neurovascular distribution around multifidus muscles in the low back and its clinical significance via regional dissection. Methods Five cadavers were dissected in the low back. The anatomical relationships between the longissimus thoracis, iliocostalis and the start-stop,direction and position of multifidus muscles were observed.Branches, distribution and the characteristics of the erector spinae muscle, the lateral branches of spinal nerves and blood vessels were examined. Then measured the distances from the emerging point of the lateral cutaneous branches of spinal nerves to the spinous processes. Results After removed the deep fascia, the longissimus thoracis was found medially and the iliocostalis was found laterally. The muhifidus muscles located deeply to the longissimus and the iliocostalis muscles. The lateral branches of the posterior rami of the spinal nerves and the dorsal branches of lumbar blood vessels run in the multifidus muscle gaps. Conclusion The multifidus muscle gaps contain plenty of neurovascular bundles.Surgery involving the low back often takes the advantage of the gaps between multifidus muscles. Therefore, surgeons should take caution to avoid damaging the lateral branches of the posterior rami of the spinal nerves and the dorsal branches of lumbar vessels during low back surgery.
