Objective To study the effect of nerve growth factor(NGF) on secretion of Th1/Th2 cytokines. Methods (1)32 SD rats were divided into 4 groups randomly: asthma(the asthmatic models were established), control, NGF, anti-NGF-antibody groups. After 14 days the lung tissues were examined for pathologic changes by HE staining. NGF in the lungs was determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and immunohistochemistry assay。The level of interferon-?(IFN-?, one of the Th1 cytokines) and interleukin-4 (IL-4, one of the Th2 cytokines) was detected by ELISA. Objective To evaluate the efficacy of transarterial embolization(TAE) for intraperitoneal hemorrhage due to spontaneous rupture in hepato-cellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods 50 cases with ruptured HCC were divided into 4 groups according to the type of their previous treatment:group A,TAE followed by elective hepatectomy 12;Group B,TAE alone 12;Group C,emergency operation 13;Group D,medical conservative management.Results Celiac arterio-graphy done before the present treatment showed extravasation of contrast material in 6(25%) of the 24 patients in group A and B,and hypervascular tumor was observed in the rest.The hemostasis success rate of group A,B and C were 100%,which were much higher than that of group D(40%)(P
3.Analysis of molecular characteristics and prognosis in acute myeloid leukemia patients with AML1/ETO

Objective To analyze the molecular characteristics and prognosis in acute myeloid leukemia patients with AML1/ETO.Methods The clinical data of 63 cases of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients with AML1/ETO positive were analyzed retrospectively.56 cases of AML patients with AML1/ETO negative in the same period were analyzed as control.Characteristics in morphology,immunology,cytogenetics,molecular biology and the clinical effects of treatment were studied and analyzed.Results M2a was 57.12 % (36/63),M2b was 33.33 % (21/63) in AML with AML1/ETO.The percent of initial marrow blasts was 0.46±0.16.The positive rate of CD34,CD13,CD33,CD19,CD7 and CD56 was 67.21%,52.46 %,40.98 %,63.93 %,4.92 % and 50.82 %,respectively.The rate of t(8;21) translocation was 82.54 %.There was 4.76 % with additional chromosome abnormality,three cases with EV1 1and one case with MLL/AT9.The overall CR rate,the relapse rate,the 3-year and the 5-year overall survival rate was 71.43 %,51.11%,(43.01±5.31) % and (32.79±3.81) %,respectively.There was no significant difference compared with the control group (P > 0.05).But extramedullary infiltration,the expression of CD56 and additional chromosome abnormality had statistical effects on overall survival (P < 0.05).Conclusions There has unique characteristics in AML with AML1/ETO.The effects of treatment and the prognosis are affected by many factors,so the efficacy and prognosis of AML with AML1/ETO couldn' t just depend on AML1/ETO.

Objective To study the diagnosis and treatment of hepatic focal nodular hyperplasia(FNH).Methods The clinical data of 15 FNH patients proved by pathological examination were retrospectively analyzedResults Most cases of FNH were asymptomatic,and some had nonspecific symptom such as dull pain of upper abdomen.Most cases of FNH showed nodular lesion on liver imaging with isodensity or hypodensity on pre-contrast CT scan and strong enhancement during arterial phase.of the 15 FNH patients,5 eases were diagnosed by needle biopsy pathology,10 cases were diagnosed by postoperative pathology.And 10 cases underwent surgical resection(7 cages with irregular hepatectomy,1 case with resection of segment 7,2 cases with left lateral lobeetomy),2 cases underwent percutaneous transhepafic chemical ablation,3 cases underwent clinical observation.All cases were followed up,and no recurence or malignancy were found.Conclusion FNH is a kind of benign tumor of liver without specific clinical manifestation.Accurate diagnosis needs pathological examination.Surgical treatment is recommended in most cages.Close follow-up is recommended in cases without operation.
5.Clinical observation on ilaprazole containing ten-day standard quadruple therapy and sequential therapy in the treatment of two hundred cases of chronic gastritis with Helicobacter pylori infection

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of ilaprazole and bismuth combined ten-day standard quadruple therapy and sequential therapy in the treatment of patients with Helicobacter pylori (H .pylori)infected chronic gastritis.Methods A total of 200 patients with H .pylori-positive chronic gastritis diagnosed by gastroendoscopy examination and rapid urease test (RUT)were randomly divided into standard quadruple therapy group and sequential therapy group,100 cases in each group.One group received ilaprazole,bismuth,amoxicillin-clavulanatepotassium and ofloxacin 10-day standard quadruple therapy, and the other group received ilaprazole, amoxicillin-clavulanatepotassium, ofloxacin and furazolidone 10-day sequential therapy.In four to six weeks after the therapy,the condition of H .pylori eradication was detected by a 14 C-urea breath test.The improvement of clinical symptoms and adverse effects were also observed. Normal distributed and variance homogenized measurement data were compared by t test,while unordered categorical data were analyzed by chi-square test and the exact probability method,and categorical data were compared by two independent sample rank sum test.Results The per-protocol analysis values of H .pylori eradication rates of the standard quadruple therapy group and the sequential therapy group were 88.54%(85/96)and 87.23%(82/94),respectively,while the intention-to-treat analysis values were 85 .00%(85/100)and 82.00%(82/100 ),respectively.The effective rates of symptomatic relief of upper abdominal pain,acid regurgitation,heart burning in the standard quadruple therapy group and the sequential therapy group were 95 .83%(92/96)and 95 .74%(90/94),respectively. The incidence of adverse effects which weve very mild was 6.25 % (6/96 ) and 7.44% (7/94 ), respectively.There was no statistically significant difference in the above three factors between the two groups (all P >0.05).Conclusions Ilaprazole and bismuth combined 10-day standard quadruple therapy and sequential therapy in the treatment of patients with H .pylori positive chronic gastritis both achieves high rates of H .pylori eradication and symptom relief with mild adverse effects.
6.Antituberculosis drugs induce mitochondrial oxidative damage of hepatocytes

ObjectiveTo study the influence of anti-tuberculosis drugs on mitochondrial function in mice hepatocytes and to explore the mechanism of the anti-tuberculosis drugs induced liver injury.Methods A total of 150 mice were randomized into five groups:control group (C group),rifampin (RFP) group,isoniazid (INH) group,pyrazinamide (PZA) group and three antituberculosis drug combination group (MIX).The mice were administered intragastrically with 0.9 % NaC1 solution or RFP 135 mg · kg-1 · d-1 or INH 90 mg · kg-1 · d-1 or PZA 315 mg · kg-1 · d-1 or RFP+INH+ PZA (135±90+315) mg · kg-1 · d-1 once a day.Ten mice in each group were sacrificed at day 3,7 and 15 of administration,respectively.The following parameters in each group were monitored.the concentration of malondialdehyde (MDA),the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX) in mitochondrion of hepatocytes and the concentration of 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine (8-OH-dG) in mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA).The data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA or rank sum test.Results Along with the prolonged medication duration,the concentrations of MDA all gradually increased in RFP group (Z=6.020,P=0.049),IN H group (Z=10.220,P=0.006) and MIX group (Z=7.460,P=0.024),whereas the activity of SOD significantly decreased in RFP group (F=6.751,P =0.011 ) and MIX groups (F=4.891,P =0.041 ) compared with control group and PZA group.Meanwhile,the activity of GSH-PX was significantly lower in RFP group compared to the other groups (F=32.445,P<0.01).The changes of other parameters didn't show meaningful trend.The concentrations of 8-OH-dG in mtDNA also increased in all treated groups,and those were all significantly increased in RPF group (F=6.602,P<0.01 ),PZA group (F=5.927,P<0.01) and MIX groups (F=7.974,P<0.01).Conclusions Antituberculosis drugs can induce higher MDA concentration in mitochondrion and higher 8-OH-dG concentration in mtDNA,while result in lower activities of SOD and GSH-PX.The liver damage tends to become more severe along with the prolonged medication duration.The combination of three antituberculosis drugs could aggravate the damage of mitochondrion in mice hepatocytes.
7.Curative effect of plasma exchange combined hormone in treatment of thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura

Objective To explore and summarize curative effect of plasma exchange combined with hormone therapy for idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) and thrombotic thrombocytopenic. Methods The 12 TTP patients diagnosed from March 2006 to March 2010 were treated with plasma exchange combined with glucocorticoid therapy. Results Af-ter treatment, 11 cases of patients with symptoms were significantly improved, 1 case died of cerebral infarction com-plicated with acute renal failure, the total effective rate was 91.7%. After 5 days plasma exchange treatment, platelet recovery normal. The patients were discharged with a better health condition after hospitalization for 9 to 14 d. Con-clusion Plasma exchange combined with hormone in the treatment of TTP, with higher safety, quicker effect, less side effect, higher cure rate, really help patients to reduce pain, is worth the clinical promotion.
8.Effect of iron protein succinylate combined with erythropoietin on the prevention and treatment of anemia in high-risk premature infants

Objective To analyze the clinical value of iron protein succinylate combined with erythropoietin (EPO) on the prevention and treatment of anemia in high-risk premature infants.Methods The clinical data of 100 high-risk premature infants with anemia treated in our hospital were analyzed retrospectively,and were divided into combined group (iron protein succinylate combined with EPO,n =58) and control group (EPO,n =42) according to different medication methods.Changes of serum iron,serum ferritin (SF),hemoglobin (Hb),red blood cell count (RBC) and hematocrit (HCT) before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.The rate and times of blood transfusion in the two groups were statistically analyzed.The incidence rates of adverse reactions and anemia were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the serum iron,SF,Hb,RBC,HCT and body weight in the combined group,Hb,RBC,HCT and weight in the control group were increased (P < 0.05),but the serum iron,SF,Hb,RBC,HCT and weight in the combined group were higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05).The rate and times of blood transfusion and the incidence rates of anemia at different times in the combined group were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05).Conclusion Iron protein succinylate combined with EPO can effectively prevent anemia in high-risk premature infants,reduce the rate of blood transfusion and improve their hematopoietic function.

10.Endovascular treatment of acute Stanford B-type aortic dissection involving the aortic arch

Objective To explore the clinical effect of endovascular stent-graft exclusion in the treatment of acute Stanford B-type aortic dissection(AD)with distal left subclavian artery(LSA)rupture accompanied by arch intramural hematoma.Methods A total of 12 patients with acute AD treated by the endovascular stent-graft exclusion alone were retrospectively selected.All patients had primary rupture at the distal end of LSA with arch intramural hematoma and received endovascular treatment after 2 to 3 weeks of conservative treatment.The technique success rate and related complications were observed.Postoperative computed tomography angiography(CTA)of the aorta was reviewed to evaluate the remodeling of the true and false lumen,the absorption of the arch intramural hematoma,to observe whether there was a new rupture and endoleak,and to understand the position and shape of the stent and the blood supply of the branch arteries.Results All patients completed the operation with a technical success rate of 100%.Two patients partially blocked the opening of LSA,and one patient had type Ⅰ internal leakage after the operation,but the amount of internal leakage was small and was not treated.Other patients did not had serious complications such as aortic rupture,new rupture,paraplegia,stent displacement,stroke,upper limb ischemia or vertebral artery ischemia,internal leakage,and abdominal organ ischemia during and after the operation.The patients were followed up for 19 to 66 months,with an average follow-up of(36.7±13.9)months.During the follow-up period,no patient died.The aortic remodeling was satisfactory in all patients,the arch intramural hematoma was absorbed,and there were no new rupture,internal leakage,upper limb ischemia or vertebral artery ischemia,or other serious complications.One patient with type Ⅰ internal leakage showed no significant change in internal leakage after regular postoperative reexamination.Conclusion Endovascular stent-graft exclusion is safe and feasible in the treatment of acute AD patients with distal LSA rupture accompanied by arch intramural hematoma,and it is worth promoting and applying clinically.
