Heparanase (Hpa) is the only β-D-glucuronidase of degading heparan sulfate proteoglycans in the body of mammalian.Studies have confirmed that Hpa accelerates angiogenesis in multiple physiopathological processes; however there are still a few studies about the expression and role of Hpa after cerebral ischemia.This article mainly introduces the relation between Hpa and angiogenesis after cerebral ischemia.

Objective To explore the effect of the teacher-student co-construction of skills training team in teaching of nursing skills for higher vocational nursing students. Methods About 129 students from grade 12 were enrolled in the control group, where the traditional teaching method was used. Another 136 nursing students from grade 13 were enrolled in the experiment group, where the teacher-student co-construction of skills training team was used. The two groups were compared in terms of test scores on nursing skills . Result The scores of the nursing skill in the experiment group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The implementation of teacher-student co-construction of nursing skills training team can improve the nursing skills of the nursing students, motivate students' initiative and creativity and enhance their sense of responsibility and other comprehensive quality.

Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effect of thymosin alpha -1 with glucocorticoid in treat-ment of HBV -related hepatic failure.Methods 130 cases were randomly divided into two groups,they were all giv-en antiviral therapy,protect liver,anti -inflammatory,yellow suit the back support,etc.comprehensive treatment;and patients in treatment group were given thymosin alpha -1 with methyl -prednisone intravenously at the early stage of treating process,and then observed the clinic situation and cure rate of those sufferers,The biochemiccal indicator, PTA and blood serum HBV DNA capacity ending with the period of 4 weeks were tested.Results In both groups,the TBil,TC in serum had apparently improved compared with the baseline after the medication,the difference was signifi-cant (t =3.12,P <0.05 and t =3.05,P <0.05).The time of gastrointestinal symptoms improvement and bilirubin subsided time in treatment group were significantly shorter than those of the control group(t =3.34,P <0.01 and t =4.52,P <0.01 ).During the treatment,there was no significant adverse reaction,and there were no differences between two groups in Alt,PTA,HBV DNA,infection,gastrointestinal bleeding,hepatic encephalopathy and hepatore-nal syndrome.The effective rate of treatment group was 75.2%,which was higher than 50.3% of the control group (χ2 =11.02,P <0.01).Conclusion Patients with HBV -related hepatic failure of short -term application of thy-mosin alpha -1 with glucocorticoid treatment,can quickly improve symptoms,greatly improve the efficiency of survival rate,shortem hospitalization period,reduce side effects and enhance security.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the effects of allergic factores in eosinophilic nasal polyps. METHOD: Clinical characters of 67 eosinophilic nasal polyps patients and 26 lymphocyte nasal polyps patients were restrospeetively analyzed. Allergic factors, allergens and nasal anatomic variations were compared between two groups. RESULT: Allergic factors are proned to present in eosinophilic nasal polyps group compared with lymphocyte nasal polyps group; The positive rates of allergen skin test between eosinophilic nasal polyps group and lymphocyte nasal polyps group showed significant difference; Allergens in eosinophilic nasal polyps group are different from lymphocyte nasal polyps group; Nasal anatomic variations are different between two groups. CONCLUSION Different pathogenesis maybe exist in different pathological type nasal polyps. Allergic factors are closely relative to eosinophilic nasal polyps and nasal anatomic variations play a more important role in the formation of lymhocyte nasal polyps.

Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics of pneumomediastinum in patients with dermatomyositis and polymyositis for demonstrating its pathogenesis and for predicting its prognosis. Methods The clinical records of 96 patients with PM/DM were reviewed, focusing on for perdicting its pneumomediastinum. Five patients with pneumomediastinum are described in detail. Case reports of pneumomediastinum in PM/DM in English publications are reviewed. Results Five DM cases complicated by pneumomediastinum all had lung infections. Twenty-nine cases (including our five cases) of DM/PM with pneumomediastinum have taken methylprednisolone, four cases alive, and six died. Nine cases have taken CsA,seven cases alive and two died. Conclusion The infections was strongly suspected as being responsible for the pneumomediastinum. Methylprednisolone has poor effect. CsA can be an effective therapeutic agent in PM/DM.

Purpose To study the expression of HIF-1αand Glut-1 in the molecular subtypes of breast carcinoma and their correlation with basal-like breast carcinoma. Methods 803 cases of invasive breast carcinoma from our database were identified. The clinicopath-ologic findings and the biologic markers including estrogen receptor ( ER) , progesterone receptor ( PR) , and human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER-2) status were reviewed. Immunohistochemical MaxVision stains for cytokeratin 5/6 (CK5/6) and epidermal growth factor receptor ( EGFR) were performed. All breast carcinomas were subclassified into Luminal A, Lumincal B, HER-2 over-expression, normal-like, and basal-like subtypes according to Nielsen criteria. Immunohistochemical stain was also used to detect the expression of HIF-1αand Glut-1. Results Positive expression rates of HIF-1αprotein in basal-like, HER-2 over-expression, normal-like, Luminal A and Luminal B substypes were 77. 89% (74/95), 56. 06% (37/66), 55. 76% (92/165), 31. 97% (141/441), 25. 00% (9/36), respectively. The positive expression rates of Glut-1 protein were 80. 00% (76/95), 57. 58% (38/66), 58. 18%(96/165), 34. 01% (150/441), 25. 00% (9/36), respectively. The positive expression rates of HIF-1α and Glut-1 in the basal-like, HER-2 over-expressing and normal-like subtypes were remarkably higher than that in Luminal A and Luminal B subtypes ( P<0. 004 5) and the expression of HIF-1a and Glut-1 was negatively correlated with the expression of ER (P<0. 01). In the ER-negative breast cancers, the positive expression rates of HIF-1a and Glut-1 in basal-like substype were much higher than that in the other sub-types (P<0. 004 5), and the expression of HIF-1α was positively correlated with expression of Glut-1 in basal-like breast carcinoma (P<0. 01). Conclusion The overexpression of HIF-1αand Glut-1 may be closely related to the ER-negative breast cancer and HIF-1α and Glut-1 might play an important role in the development of basal-like breast carcinoma.

The pharmacodynamics of compound Guhuanzhixue granule(CGH- ZX)was studied.The results showed that CGHZX inhibited the contraction of rat's uterine smooth muscle and antagonized the vigorous contraction induced by oxytoxin in vitro,It exerted an anti-inflammatory effect in rats and miee with uteritis caused by various foreign bodies,This preseription also shertened the bleeding and coagulation times in mice.It is suggested that CGHZX is applicable to metrorrhagia,pain and uteritis occurring after setting of contra- ceptive ring.

Objective: To evaluate the degree of psychological distress and analyze the influential factors of cancer patients receiving radiotherapy, aiming to provide theoretical basis for individualized psychological interventions. Methods: A cross-sectional survey of 157 cancer patients treated with radiotherapy in Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University in the previous year was conducted in terms of data collection and mean score of NCCN distress thermometer by using the convenience sampling method. Tumor types included nasopharyngeal cancer, breast cancer and cervical cancer, etc. The influential factors were analyzed by using logistic regression method. Results: The mean score of NCCN distress thermometer in 157 cancer patients was 4.07±0.19. Among them, 87 cases (55.41%) experienced significant psychological distress (NCCN distress thermometer score≥4). The main influential factors of psychological distress consisted of depression, loneliness, fear, appearance changes, urination changes, nausea, poor appetite, eating trouble, diarrhoea, constipation, pain and radiodermatitis. Logistic regression analysis demonstrated that nausea and urination changes were the independent influential factors of psychological distress. Conclusions Over half of cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy present with evident psychological distress. Somatic problems and emotional situations are the main factors of psychological pain. Consequently, it is highly necessary to emphasize the psychological health and actively resolve the somatic and emotional symptoms of cancer patients receiving radiotherapy.

OBJECTIVETo determine the level of neurohormonal operative stress response-reactive protein (CRP) and rest energy expenditure (REE) after laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) and open cholecystectomy (OC).

METHODSTwenty-six consecutive patients with noncomplicated gallstones were randomized for LC (n = 14) and OC (n = 12). Plasma concentrations of somatotropin, insulin, cortisol and CRP were measured. The levels of REE were also measured.

RESULTSOn the third postoperative day, the insulin levels were lower than those before operation (P < 0.05). On the first postoperative day, the levels of somatotropin and cortisol were higher in OC than in LC. After operation, the parameters of somatotropin, CRP and cortisol increased compared to the preoperative period in all patients (P < 0.05). On the all-postoperative day, the CRP levels were higher in OC than in LC (P < 0.05). After operation, the REE level increased in OC and LC (P < 0.05). On the all-postoperative day, the REE levels were higher in OC than in LC (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONSLC results in less prominent stress response and smaller metabolic interference compared to open surgery. These benefit the restoration of stress hormones, nitrogen balance, and energy metabolism. However, LC can also induce acidemia and pulmonary hypoperfusion because of pneumoperitoneum during surgery.
