Objective To investigate the effects of peroxisome proliferator activated receptor γ(PPARγ) agonists pioglitazone combined with radiotherapy on colon carcinoma xenograft in mice.Methods The colon cancer cells CT26 of mouse were inoculated in the right side of the rib loins of BALB/c mouse.Established BALB/c mice tumor models.The mice were randomly divided into six groups:untreated group,tumor contral group,DMSO group,pioglitazone treated group,radiotherapy group,radiotherapy combined with pioglitazone treated group.To observe the tumor growth of each group,to compute and compare to the tumor inhibition rates.the pathological varieties of the tumor were observed.Results The tumor volumes were compared with each group after two weeks of radiotherapy.Compared with tumor contral group,pioglitazone treated group,radiotherapy group and radiotherapy combined with pioglitazone treated group could decrease the volume of tumor (P =0.008,P =0.001,P =0.001).Compared with pioglitazone treated group,the effect of radiotherapy group or radiotherapy combined with pioglitazone treated group was more evident (P =0.026,P =0.018).Contrasted with radiotherapy group,radiotherapy combined with pioglitazone treated group had no significant difference (P =0.335).The tumor inhibition rates of pioglitazone treated group,radiotherapy group and radiotherapy combined with pioglitazone treated group were 46.30 ％,68.60 ％ and 70.01％.The pathological varieties of tumor were obvious.Conclusion Pioglitazone,radiotherapy and radiotherapy combined with pioglitazone could inhibit the growth of tumor.PPARγ is a new target for tumor treatment.

[Objective]To analysis the factors influencing the results and complications of displaced intra-articular calcaneal fractures treated with open reduction and internal fixation or sledging.[Method]Twenty-seven cases,29 displaced intra-articular calcaneal fractures treated with open reduction and internal fixation or sledging were reviewed and followed with 7～60 months.The postoperative results were evaluated with AOFAS.[Result]The scores were between 53 and 100 with average 87.2,with good results.The functional results of Sanders Ⅲ and Ⅳ fractures were worse than type Ⅱ fracures.[Conclusion]The patients with displaced intra-articular calcaneal fractures should be treated with operation.With less invasive manipulation,extensive lateral L incision hasn't more relation to infection.The degree of initial injury and the operative quality are important factors influencing prognosis.

Objective To observe the effect of enteral nutritional emulsion on nutritional status and immune function in patients with gastrointestinal cancer. Methods From January 2014 to January 2017,100 patients with gastrointestinal cancer in Yuncheng Central Hospital were selected in the research and randomly divided into two groups according to the digital table, with 50 cases in each group. All the patients underwent chemotherapy, the observation group was given enteral nutritional emulsion during chemotherapy. The indicators of nutritional status, immune function, the effect of chemotherapy, the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment,the prealbumin,albumin,transferrin and hemoglobin levels in the observation group were (0. 30 ± 0. 07)g/ L,(32. 93 ± 1. 67)g/ L,(2. 61 ± 0. 15)g/ L,(109. 94 ± 2. 31)g/ L,respectively,which in the control group were (0. 19 ± 0. 09)g/ L,(30. 89 ± 1. 49)g/ L,(2. 49 ± 0. 14)g/ L,(108. 07 ± 2. 04)g/ L,respectively, there were statistically significant differences between the two groups(t = 6. 822,6. 445,4. 135,4. 291,all P < 0. 05). After treatment,the CD +3 ,CD4 / CD8,NK cells in the observation group were (43. 84 ± 7. 65)％ ,(1. 70 ± 0. 18) and (37. 78 ± 7. 51)％ ,respectively,which in the control group were (36. 12 ± 6. 57)％ ,(1. 52 ± 0. 19) and (31. 07 ± 4. 20)％ ,respectively,there were statistically significant differences between the two groups ( t = 5. 413,4. 863, 6. 124,all P < 0. 05). The objective response rate of the observation group (64％ ) was significantly higher than that of the control group(44％ )(χ2 = 4. 026,P < 0. 05). Conclusion Enteral nutritional emulsion can effectively improve the nutritional status and immune function of patients with gastrointestinal cancer during chemotherapy,but also can effectively enhance sensitivity to chemotherapy,improve the effect of chemo-therapy,and the safety is reliable.

Objective To observe the effect of selective intra-arterial thrombolytic therapy for central retinal artery thrombosis. Methods 100 000-250 000U of urokinase were injected into the ophthalmic artery via a catheter in the ophthalmic artery or the internal carotid artery to carry out the thrombolytic therapy. Results The visual acuity was significantly improved from light perception or finger counting to 0.1 in 8 of a total of 26 cases, partially improved in 10 cases, and no change in vision in 8 cases. The time interval from the onset of the disease to thrombolysis was within 8 days in the 18 patients who showed improvement, 3 of them showed significant improvement, of whom 2 received the treatment within 3 days. Conclusion Selective intra-arterial thrombolytic therapy is effective for the treatment of central retinal artery thrombosis. The effect was closely related to the time interval from the onset of the disease to thrombolysis. The thrombolytic therapy should be carried out as soon as possible.

Background and purpose: Currently, intraoperative radiation therapy (IORT) has become the adjuvant therapy of cancer. The study was to establish the daily quality assurance (QA) program and analyze dosimetric characteristics’ long-term stability for mobile IORT accelerator. Methods:The QA program of this study included two parts:safety and functionality and energy and output. The two years’ QA datasets were acquired and analyzed to investigate the stability of energy and output. Results:All safety and functionality tests passed on a daily basis. The energy index was (0.666±0.015)mm, (0.839±0.009)mm, (0.781±0.010)mm, (0.724±0.009)mm and the output dose error was (0.511 ± 0.671)%, (0.278 ± 0.516)%, (0.368 ± 0.532)%, (0.382 ± 0.912)%for all energy, respectively. There was no signiifcant time trend in the dosimetric characteristics. Conclusion:The daily QA program is suitable for mobile IORT accelerator. The long-term stability is acceptable for IORT in clinical use.

Objective To monitor the performance constancy of the HS-126E automatic X-ray film processor and to investigate the effects of chemical processing time on the reproducibility of film dosimetry.Methods With films having identical exposure,15 ready-pack Kodak X-omat-V films from the same batch were divided into 5 groups and exposed one by one under the identical conditions.One group of test film was processed per day from Monday to Friday with identical temperature and time.All films were digitized with a Vidar VXR-16 bit film digitizer. The average optical density(A) at irradiation field center was analyzed with RIT113 film dosimetry system software.At the same time,another 10 films in 5 groups from the same batch were exposed with vertical method and processed to get the calibration data and sensitometric curves.The film sensitivities,i.e.,ratio of A to delivered dose,were calculated and compared between groups.Another 15 films in 5 groups were exposed with horizontal method and processed similarly to the test films,the point dose at 1.5?cm depth on the central axis was calculated with sensitometric curve and compared with the value measured by ion chamber.Results Variations of A value in each group was less than 2%.During the processing period,a trend of decrease along with time in mean A value decreased day by day was observed.Both the standard deviations and coefficients of variation in all groups were within 2%.One-way ANOVA showed that there was a significant difference of the mean A value among all films from Monday to Friday(P

Objective:To investigate the effects of growth hormone combined with triptoreline acetate on growth and sex hormone in girls with central precocious puberty.Methods:Sixty-two girls with central precocious puberty who received treatment in Xin'an International Hospital from January 2017 to December 2019 were included in this study. They were randomly assigned to receive treatment with either triptorelin acetate (control group, n = 31) or triptorelin acetate plus growth hormone (observation group, n = 31) for 12 successive months. Before and after treatment, bone age difference/chronological age difference (△BA/△CA), body height, body weight, uterine and ovarian volume and sex hormone level were compared between the control and observation groups. Results:△BA/△CA in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group [(0.64 ± 0.17) vs. (0.95 ± 0.13), t = 8.065, P < 0.05). Body height and weight in the observation group were (127.32 ± 1.08) cm and (33.42 ± 2.37) kg, respectively, which were significantly higher than those in the control group [(126.34 ± 0.87) cm and (31.01 ± 2.15) kg, t = 3.934 and 4.193, both P < 0.05]. Uterine and ovarian volume in the observation group were (1.68 ± 0.29) cm 3 and (1.26 ± 0.18) cm 3, respectively, which were significantly lower than those in the control group [(2.41 ± 0.46) cm 3 and (1.83 ± 0.26) cm 3, t = 7.474 and 10.036, both P < 0.05). After treatment, there were no significant differences in serum estradiol and luteinizing hormone levels between the two groups (both P > 0.05). Conclusion:Growth hormone combined with triptoreline acetate has a good effect on central precocious puberty in girls because it can improve the growth and development of girls and reduce serum levels of estradiol and luteinizing hormone.

Objective To investigate the expression pattern of transcription factor Olig 2 in cuprizone-induced mouse model of acute demyelination .Methods C57BL/6 mice were fed with 0.2%cuprizone to induce acute demyelina-tion.Immunofluorescence and qRT-PCR were used, and Olig2, MBP and GFAP were detected in the brain tissues of con-trol group and cuprizone-treated groups for 6 weeks and recovery for 2 weeks.Results Severe demyelination occurred in the corpus callosum following 6-weeks exposure to cuprizone , while remyelination was detected in the white matter after the mice were given diet without cuprizone .In the normal mice , Olig2 was expressed in a low level , while the experessions of Olig2 and GFAP were significantly increased , and Olig2 +/GFAP+cells were detected after demyelination .But the expres-sion of MBP was below the normal level with demyelination .After recovery for 2 weeks, the experession of Olig2 was lower, but the experessions of MBP and GFAP were increased .Conclusions Olig2 may play an important role in the glial differ-entiation from neural progenitor cells into active astrocytes , and in the glial scar formation .
