ObjectiveTo evaluate clinical value of evidence-based nursing intervention in treatment of elderly patients with cardiovascular interventional surgery during perioperative period. Methods 150 cases of elderly patients with cardiovascular diseases who underwent interventional surgical treatment were selected. They were randomly divided into the observation group(80 cases)and the control group(70 patients). ResultsThe occurrence and degree of discomfort of bedridden patients in the observation group were milder, and the complications due to use of anticoagulants and pressing dressing were significantly less than the control group. The satisfaction degree and mastering of disease related knowledge in the observation group were significantly better than that of the control group. ConclusionsApplication of evidence-based nursing intervention during perioperative period for elderly patients with cardiovascular interventional surgery can reduce discomfort and complications of patients,as well as improve satisfaction degree and mastering of disease-related knowledge of patients and their families, which is worthy of promotion.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2009;11(5):597-599
Objective To study the effect of high glucose and lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC) on the role of fibronectin and plate-let activating factor (PAF) via the interaction of endothelial cells and mesangial cells. Methods The model of intercellular interaction be-tween endothelial cells and mesangial cells was established and divided into 4 groups: control, mannitol, high glucose and LPC, and BN52021 group. The level of fibronectin and PAF were determined by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay in the culture media. Results The level of fibronectin and PAF of high glucose and LPC group were higher than those of control group in co-culture and monolayer cell cul-ture (P<0.05). Intervened by high glucose and LPC, the level of fibronectin and PAF of co-culture were higher than those from monolay-er cell culture (P<0.05). The level of fibrocentin in the BN52021 group was lower than that of high glucose and LPC (P<0.05). Con-clusions Exposed to high glucose and LPC, endothelial cells and mesangial cells can interact with each other to produce more fibrocentin and PAF. The increase of fibronectin is partly concerned with PAF.

Objective To study the effect of astragalus membranaceus on the interaction of mesangial cells and endothelial cells in the media of high glucose and lysophosphatidylcholine. Methods The model of intercellular interaction between endothelial cells and mesangial cells of diabetic nephropathy was established and divided into 4 groups:control, mannitol, high glucose and lysophosphatidylcholine, intervented with astragalus membranaceus. Endothelial cells and mesangial cells were co-cultured in DMEN with or without astragalus membranaceus in high glucose and lysophosphatidylcholine media up to 24 hours. The level of collagen Ⅳ and fibrocentin were determined by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay in the culture media. Results The level of collagen Ⅳ and fibrocentin of high glucose and lysophosphatidylcholine group was markedly higher than that of control group in co-culture and the ordinary monolayer cell culture (P

As one of the important factors that impact the life of quality to the elderly, visual impairment has become a research highlight in developed countries. And some related results have been found out.It is in the primary stage of establishing the elderly community extending service system in China.Based on this background, literature about the impact of visual impairment on quality of life of the residential setting elderly and related interventions were reviewed.By drawing the experience from developed countries,we aim to innovate perfect interventions, improve the quality of life, avoid unexpected events such as fall and medication mistakes.

Problem-based learning (PBL)was used in resident standardized training in depart-ment of pediatrics of Changhai Hospital. Attending doctors with authority were taken as leaders teach-ing group and 3-5 resident doctors as team members. Cases were set up according to the targets of resident standardization training and common clinical diseases in each system. According to the results of the questionnaire after the teaching , both teachers and students were satisfied with the teaching effect and expected targets were reached. Residents made great progress in handling clinical problems.

Object To optimize the best extraction of the total saponins in the root of Ophiopogon japonicus (Thunb.) Ker-Gawl. (RO). Methods The extract condition of total saponins in RO was observed by orthogonal design with ophiopogonis D as index. Results The optimum extract condition of RO was established. The more effective way was to smash RO to 5-10 mesh and extract total saponins in RO with ten times amount of 80% alcohol thrice by refluxing, one hour each time. Conclusion The total saponins in RO could be fully extracted in this condition.

Objective To observe the learning and memory function of rats after heat stroke. Methods 60 Sprague-Dawley rats were divided randomly into heat stroke group (n=44), sham group (n=8) and control group (n=8). They were tested with the Morris Water Maze 7 days after modeling. The escaping latency was recorded in the first 5 days, and it was recorded with frequency crossing the platform area and the duration in the target quadrant after ridding the platform on the 6th day. Results 16 rats died in the heat stroke group after modeling. The escaping latency increased (P<0.05), and the cumulative duration in the target quadrant and the frequency of crossing the previous platform decreased (P<0.05) in the heat stroke group compared with the other groups. Conclusion The learning and memory ability is impaired after heat stroke in rats.

Objective To study the application of standardized patients practice and agent physician system in digestion medical clinical practice. Methods One hundred and fifty five-year-clinical medical students who began digestion medical clinical practice from 2008 to 2009 were selected and randomly divided into teaching reform group and control group, each group containing 75 people. According to teaching reform group students' willingness and through the selection, 69 were identified as agent physician. Standardized patients and agent physician simulation clinical training were applied in the teaching reform group while conventional teaching methods were used in the control group. Sta-tistical analysis of the experimental data was conducted using SPSS 11.0 statistical package. Measure-ment data use independent-samples t test and rank sum test was used for heterogeneity of variance. Results Teaching reform group students' inquiry contents and skills scores for each project were higher than those of control group and the score difference was statistically significant (P<0.05) in chronological order, the transition language, interrogation schedule, repeated questions, summary records, citing verification, instrumentation courtesy, friendly behavior, praise and encouragement, eliciting the patient's views, concerns about the effects of disease, care and support and assistance aspects. After the end of the third internship, two groups were compared in operation results, reform history collection, physical examination skills group score and the excellent and good rate being higher (P=0.002, 0.001). After three times' practice, teaching group students' scoring pass rate in medical ethics demeanor, interrogation techniques and physical examination skills, case analysis is higher than that of the control group students, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Application of standardized patients and implementing agency resident simulation clinical training in the guide teaching of digestion department of internal medicine has achieved good effect.
