Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(07):-
Objective To analyze the efficacy of repairing unilateral cleft lip (UCL) with Millard method, and explore the individual operative procedure. Methods According to the difference of lip height between non-cleft and cleft sides, MillardⅠ, MillardⅡ or modified Millard Ⅱ operative approach was chosen to repair UCL, then the clinical effect of operation was evaluated. Results The ideal operative effects were obtained in 208 cases of UCL using various operative approaches based on the individual deformity. There were consistent lip height between both sides, normal vermillion bulk and satisfactory facial appearance after operation. Conclusion The satisfactory efficacy could be obtained by choosing Millard method's operative approaches based on the individual deformity. The modified Millard operative approach could repair all kinds of UCL.

Objective To investigate the mRNA expression of CC Chemokines, including RANTES (regulated upon activation, normal T cell expressed and secreted), monocyte chemoattracctant protein-1 (MCP-1), monocyte chemoattracctant protein-3 (MCP-3) and macrophage inhibitory protein 1? (MIP-1?), in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of patients with chronic urticaria, their mutual correlation, and the relationship between the expression level of CC chemokines and the serum level of IgE and eosinophil cationic protein (ECP) in the patients. Methods Reverse transcription-polymerase reaction (RT-PCR) was applied to semiquantitatively analyze the mRNA expression of RANTES, MCP-1, MCP-3 and MIP-1? in PBMCs from 31 patients with chronic urticaria and 22 healthy subjects. Results The mRNA expression of RANTES, MCP-1, MCP-3 and MIP-1?was significantly higher in the patients than those in the normal controls (P 0.05). In the patients, the mRNA expression of RANTES negatively correlated with the serum level of IgE and ECP (P

Chinese Journal of Endocrine Surgery 2019;13(6):466-470
Objective:
To study the effects of liraglutide on bone metabolism and Wnt pathway in type 2 diabetic osteoporosis rats.
Methods:
SD rats were randomly divided into control group, model group and liraglutide group. The latter two groups were fed with high-fat and high-sugar diet and intraperitoneally injected with low-dose streptozotocin to establish type 2 diabetic model. Liraglutide group was subcutaneously injected with 0.6 mg/kg/d liraglutide for 8 weeks. Bone mineral density, calcium and phosphorus content, the expression of Wnt pathway molecule [Wnt3a, low density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 5 (LRP5) , β-catenin] and the contents of bone metabolism indicators [ALP, osteocalcin (OC) , osteoprotegerin (OPG) , receptor activator of nuclear factor-κ B ligand (RANKL) , tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (TrACP) , cross-linked carboxy-terminal telopeptide of type I collagen (CTX-1) ] in serum were determined.
Results:
The tibial bone mineral density[left (0.158±0.024) vs (0.232±0.041) g/cm2, right (0.152±0.027) vs (0.219±0.038) g/cm2,

Journal of Modern Laboratory Medicine 2015;(1):27-30,33
Objective To study the effect of small interfering RNA targeted on Apollon for proliferation on pancreatic cancer cells and its possible acting mechanism. Methods The small interfering RNA targeted on apollon in our previous study was transfected to the cells using LipofectamineTM 2000,after 48 hours transtection. The inhibitory effects of small interfering RNA targeted on Apollon (Apollon siRNA)on cell proliferation were detected by WST-8.Their inhibition rate and IC50 were calculated. The percentage of apoptosis cells were determined by flow cytometry. The expression of Apollon mRNA was analyzed by real time fluorescent quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction. The Apollon protein ex-pression levels were detected by western blotting. Results Apollon siRNA could effectively inhibit the proliferation of pan-creatic cancer cell. The amount of apoptotic cells increased significantly. The early apoptotic rate was 37.1%,and the RT-PCR results showed that the relative expression levels of Apollon mRNA were down-regulate,and shows a dose-effective-ness relations. The protein expression levels were decreased by Apollon siRNA.Conclusion Apollon siRNA can effectively inhibit the proliferation of pancreatic cancer cell. The mechanism may be work together to promote pancreative cancer cell early apoptosis and decreased the expression levels of gene and protein, which provides a novel potential approach for treat-ment of target therapy of pancreatic cancer.

Objective To measure the levels of plasma D-dimer,activated coagulation factor Ⅶ (FⅦa) and activated clotting factor Ⅻ (FⅫa) in patients with chronic urticaria (CU),and to investigate their relationship with the occurrence of CU.Methods Venous blood samples were collected from 50 patients with CU and 50 healthy human controls.Dry-column immune scattering chromatography was performed to detect the plasma level of D-dimer,and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to measure the levels of FⅦa and FⅫa.In addition, autologous plasma skin test (APST) was conducted in 43 patients with CU,and autologous serum skin test (ASST) in 41 patients with CU.A correlation analysis was carried out between the above three parameters and disease severity as well as between the results of APST and ASST and plasma level of D-dimer.Results The levels of plasma D-dimer and F Ⅶa were significantly higher in patients with CU than in healthy human controls (both P < 0.05),while no significant difference was found in FⅫa level between the two groups (P > 0.05).Moreover,the degree of increase in D-dimer plasma level was positively correlated with disease severity in the patients with CU.The plasma level of D-dimer was significantly higher in APST-positive patients than in APST-negative patients (P < 0.05),but not significantly different between ASST-positive and-negative patients (P > 0.05).Conclusions Coagulation mechanism, especially the extrinsic coagulation pathway,is related to the occurrence of CU.Studies on coagulation mechanism are beneficial to the evaluation of severity, and clinical treatment,of CU.
