China Pharmacy 2005;0(13):-
OBJECTIVE: To study whether the therapeutic action of compound glycyrrhizin(SNMC) on allergic disorders can be achieved through inhibition on the expression of chemotactic factors in peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC).METHODS: PBMC of 15 healthy subjects were obtained and divided into 4 drug-treated groups: SNMC group, dexamethasone group, mizolastine group, and loratadine group;meanwhile,a positive control group(proinflammatory stimulant was added) and a negative control group(no proinflammatory stimulant was added) were used as control.Fluorescent quantitation polymerase chain reaction was employed to determine the mRNA expression of the chemotatic factors including RANTES,MCP-1,MIP-1? and ELISA was employed to detect their concentrations in supernatant.RESULTS: In the positive control group, both the mRNA expressions and the concentrations of the 3 chemotatic factors increased significantly, and which were significantly lower in the drug-treatment groups than in the positive control group. There were significant differences between the positive control group and dexamethasone-treated group or SNMC-treated group in the expression of MIP-1? mRNA(P
4. Dual contrast-enhanced ultrasound for diagnosis of obstructive diseases in upper urinary tracts
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2014;35(2):141-148
Objective To establish a dual contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (DCEUS) method for diagnosing the upper urinary tract obstructive diseases, and to discuss the diagnosis criterion and value. Methods A total of 147 patients with upper urinary tract obstructive diseases underwent dual contrast-enhanced ultrasound examination. A dose of SonoVue solution was directly injected into the renal pelvis via the puncture tube, and the antegrade contrast agent movement within the upper urinary tract was continuously monitored under CPS mode. Meanwhile, intravenous contrast-enhanced ultrasound was performed to observe the capillary filling of the urinary tract and surrounding structures, that is what we called DCEUS. And all the patient received magnetic resonance urography (MRU) and urinary contrast-enhanced CT within one week. With the operative findings and/or postoperative pathology taken as the golden standard, the accuracies of DCEUS and MRU in diagnosing the obstructive levels and severity of upper urinary tract obstruction were compared, and the accuracies of DCEUS and contrast-enhanced CT in diagnosing causes of the obstruction were compared. Results (1)The accuracy of DCEUS in revealing the obstructive levels were 100%, showing no significant difference with MRU(98. 6%)(P>0. 05). (2)The accuracy of DCEUS in evaluating the severity of upper urinary tract obstruction was 98. 6%, which was significantly better than that of MRU(89. 8%, P<0. 01). (3) The accuracy of DCEUS in diagnosing the obstructive causes was 93. 2%, showing no significant difference with contrast-enhanced CT (93. 9%, P>0. 05). (4) No complications were found during renal pelvis puncture or administration of SonoVue in the 147 patients, and no late complications were noticed during 1-6 months ultrasound follow-up in the 143 patients whowere followed up. Conclusion DCEUS is a safe, effective method; it can accurately locate the upper urinary tract obstruction and help to make qualitative diagnosis, and combination with percutaneous nephrostomy can yield even better clinical values.

Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2015;33(6):519-524
Background Different depthes or distances are prompted with many visual cues on the flat screen.Which kind of depth cues plays a major role in the accommodation of human eyes,in addition, whether this effect exists in the different distance are still below understood. Objective This study was to research the effect of the monocular space depth perception on accommodative response at different distances, and to analyze the effect of linear perspective and size-constancy perceptual depth cues on the level and amplitude of accommodative fluctation. Methods Four groups of visual targets were designed by FLASH software and placed at the front of eyes with the distance of 50 cm or 33.3 cm,representing static change from far to near and dynamic change from far to near, from near to far respectively.Twenty-six healthy volunteers aged 22-26 years were included in this study, with the spherical power of (-4.06± 1.99) D and cylindrical power of (-0.38±0.41) D under the informed consent. The accommodative response and accommodative fluctuations during monocularly watching the targets were recorded at 5 times/second by Grand Seiko WAM 5500 automatic infrared refractor. This study was approved by Ethic Committee of Wenzhou Medical University, and written informed consent was obtained from each subject before entering the study group. Results At the distance of 50 cm,the accommodative response caused by the depth perception of near was (1.52±0.46) D,the one of distance was (1.37±0.46) D,with a significant difference of 0.15 D under the combined effect of linear perspective and size-constancy (P =0.016).The accommodative response caused by the depth perception of big car was (1.43 ± 0.35) D,and the one of small car was (1.43 ± 0.36) D,without statistically significant difference under the effect of size-constancy alone (P =0.467).At the distance of 33.3 cm,the accommodative response caused by the depth perception of near was (2.40±0.53)D,and the one of distance was (2.35 ±0.51) D,without significant difference under the combined effect of linear perspective and size-constancy (P=0.379).The accommodative response caused by the depth perception of big car was (2.38±0.48)D,the one of small car was (2.39±0.52)D,without statistically significant difference under the effect of size-constancy alone (P =0.820).In addition, the total curve of accommodative microfluctuation showed apparent fluctuation periodically caused by the distance perception involving linear perspective only. Conclusions Monocular space depth perception has some impacts on the accommodative response at certain distance.Linear perspective, which is one of the depth cues of space perception, plays a major role in the accommodative response.Compared with the size-constancy,linear perspective can provide depth perception at higher level. The size-constancy has a little or contrast impact to the accommodation, because it depends on the assistance from other depth cues like linear perspective.

Objective The study systematically reviewed the therapeutic effect of the Kidney-Nourishing therapy on aromatase inhibitor-associated bone loss (AIBL).Methods The databases CNKI, CBM, VIP, Medline and the Cochrane Library were searched. Cochrane collaboration's tool for assessing risk of bias was adopted to assess the quality of trials. The Revman 5.3 software was used for the analysis on the outcome index such as bone minernal density and the level of serum estradiol. Results Meta-analysis was conducted on 11 randomly controlled clinical trials. All 11 studies were concducted in China, and the quality of researches was low. Meta-analysis revealed that the decrement of bone mineral density in the group receiving kidney-nourishing herbs was significantly smaller than that in the control group(P<0.001), theMD was -0.070, 95%CI was (-0.087, -0.053), but there was no significant difference between two groups in the outcome of the serum estradiol level (P=0.159), theMD was -2.622, 95%CIwas(-6.273, 1.030).Conclusion Kidney- Nourishing herbs can delay the process of aromatase inhibitor-associated bone loss, but may not influence the serum estrogen level.

Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2014;32(5):425-429
Background Angle Kappa is the angle between the pupillary axis and visual axis, and it is a major consideration in corneal refractive surgery and strabismic surgery.Researches showed that age and refractive status affect angle Kappa value, and additionally, the measuring results of angle Kappa are associated with instruments. Objective This study was to investigate and weight the influences of axial length, anterior chamber depth and corneal curvature to angle Kappa. Methods A cross-sectional study was designed.Fifty health volunteers were included from Dec 2009 to Aug 2010,with the age of 18-38 years and average diopter of-1.0 D and best corrected visual acuity of 1.0.The horizontal and vertical angle Kappa was binocular measured with a testing machine designed by laboratory of School of Optometry & Ophthalmology Wenzhou Medical University.IOLMaster was employed to measure the ocular axial length, anterior chamber depth and corneal curvature radius.A multiple linear regression model was established to analyze the influences of axial length, anterior chamber depth and corneal curvature radius to angle Kappa. Results An efficacious regression equation was established as Y =15.554-0.587X1+0.724X2+ 0.232X3 with the independent variables as axial length(X1),anterior chamber depth (X2),corneal curvature (X3) and dependent variable as horizontal angle Kappa (Y) (R =0.788,R2 =0.621,P =0.000).Horizontal angle Kappa showed a negative correlation with axial length (b1 =-0.587,β1 =-1.002,P =0.000) and a positive correlation with anterior chamber depth (b2 =0.724,β32 =0.296,P =0.030).No significant correlation was found between corneal curvature radius and horizontal angle Kappa (b3 =-0.232,β3 =-0.068,P=0.338).A new regression equation was Y =14.235-0.622X1 + 0.824X2 after removed the corneal curvature variable (R =0.786,R2=0.618,P =0.000),with a negative correlation between horizontal angle Kappa and axial length (b1 =-0.622,β1 =-1.062,P<0.05) or positive correlation between horizontal angle Kappa and the anterior chamber depth (b2 =0.824,β2 =0.337,P<0.05).In addition,a multiple linear regression equation among 3 independent variables and dependent variable of vertical angle Kappa was Y =0.492-0.020X1 +0.038X2 +0.089X3 (R =0.436,R2 =0.191,P =0.000).However,no significant correlations were seen between vertical angle Kappa and axial length, anterior chamber depth or corneal curvature radius (all at P > 0.05).Conclusions Ocular axial length and anterior chamber depth have an obvious influence to horizontal but not vertical angle Kappa.Axial length appears to have more influence to horizontal angle Kappa than anterior chamber depth.
10.Effects of different ventilation modes for one-lung ventilation anesthesia on respiratory function and F(A)/F(I) changes during sevoflurane inhalation.
Journal of Southern Medical University 2011;31(4):714-717
OBJECTIVETo investigate the effects of different ventilation modes for one lung ventilation anesthesia on arterial blood-gas, airway pressure, intrapulmonary shunt, and F(A)/F(I) changes in patients receiving sevoflurane inhalation.
METHODSThirty ASA class II-III patients with lung cancer undergoing pulmonary lobectomy were randomized into 3 equal groups. The patients in group A received volume-controlled ventilation (VCV) without positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) (VT=8 ml/kg, Rf=12/min), and those in group B, after a preceding VCV stabilize the airway pressure, had pressure-controlled ventilation with maintenance of an identical peak pressure (Ppeak) (Rf=12/min, PEEP=0). In group C, the patients received small tidal volume ventilation with PEEP (VT=6 ml/kg, Rf=16/min, PEEP=5 cm H(2)O). Blood gas analysis was carried out at 10 min after TLV and at 20, 45 and 70 min after one lung ventilation (OLV); the heart rate (HR), mean arterial pressure (MAP), SpO(2) and Ppeak were also recorded and blood samples collected from the artery and jugular vein at these time points. Inhalation of 1.5% sevoflurane for 20 min started at 20 min of OLV.
RESULTSCompared with those in TLV, the Ppeak increased, lung compliance decreased, arterial oxygenation (PaO(2)) decreased and intrapulmonary shunt (Qs/Qt) increased during OLV. Group B showed the fastest increase of F(A)/F(I) in the initial 8 min, followed by groups A and C, but the curves became similar with the passage of time.
CONCLUSIONSDuring OLV, the 3 ventilation modes result in similar F(A)/F(I) changes during sevoflurane inhalation but PCV can increase pulmonary compliance.
