1.Cultivation of Medical Students′Humanistic Quality in College English Teaching
Chinese Medical Ethics 2016;29(2):337-339
Firstly, this paper introduced and analyzed the humanistic quality of medical students. Thereafter, this paper discussed the advantages and thinking of college English teaching in the process of cultivation of medical students′ humanistic quality. At last, it pointed out that college English teachers could cultivate the medical students′ humanistic quality and effectively improve the comprehensive humanistic quality for medical students through changing educational concept, digging teaching materials about humanistic quality education, enriching the means of college English teaching, expanding the teaching space of humanistic quality, strengthening the emotion education, and training critical thinking.

OBJECTIVE:To study the effects of scorpion’s proteins with different molecular weights on angiogenesis of the transgenic zebrafish. METHODS:The vascular fluorescence transgenic zebrafish models were established. Scorpion’s proteins were separated by ultrafiltration and ion exchange chromatography to obtain the scorpion protein fractions with different molecular weights (3-10 ku,>10-50 ku and>50 ku). The embryos of transgenic zebrafishes were cultured in the above 10,100 and 500 μg/ml scor-pion’s proteins. Intersegmental vessels of the transgenic zebrafishes were counted under the fluorescence microscope to optimize the most suitable scorpion’s protein molecular weight. The vessels were counted again with >50 ku scorpion protein component 1 and 2,so as to select suitable component.RESULTS:The >50 ku scorpion’s protein fraction component 1 with the mass concentration of 500 μg/ml had the highest inhibitory activity for the angiogenesis of the transgenic zebrafish, with inhibitory rate of 92.59%. CONCLUSIONS:Scorpion’s protein and its fractions have the activity of angiogenesis inhibition, which may be one of anti-cancer mechanisms of scorpion.

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of using rituximab and atoxiban in the treatment of cervical incompetence after emergency cervical cerclage surgery. Methods Sixty patients with cervical incompetence admitted from May 2020 to February 2022 were selected as the study subjects.Divide into control group A,control group B,and trial group C using random number table method, with 20 cases in each group. All three groups underwent emergency cervical cerclage surgery. After the surgical treatment, control group A received treatment with rituximab hydrochloride, control group B received treatment with atoxiban, and experimental group C received treatment with atoxiban on the basis of rituximab hydrochloride.Analyze and compare the inhibitory effects of uterine contractions, incidence of adverse reactions, and neonatal outcomes among three groups. Results The inhibition rate of uterine contractions in control group A and test group C was higher than that in control group B(P<0.05);The incidence of postoperative complications in experimental group C was lower than that in control group A and control group B,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05);Compared with control group A and control group B,the incidence of fetal loss, neonatal asphyxia, and low birth weight infant outcomes in experimental group C was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Compared with control group A and control group B,experimental group C had a longer gestational week extension and a higher Apgar score for newborns, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination treatment of rituximab and atoxiban after emergency cervical cerclage surgery for this disease has good effects, can better inhibit uterine contractions, appropriately prolong gestational age, improve neonatal outcomes and prognosis, and reduce adverse drug reactions in pregnant women.

Objective:By analyzing epidemic characteristics and prevention and control measures of Corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in South Korea and Japan, to provide reference for prevention and control of the epidemic. Methods:Information on COVID-19 from official websites of the South Korea Central Disaster Safety Management Headquarters and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare of Japan as well as authoritative media in South Korea and Japan, were collected and used to analyze the epidemic characteristics and prevention and control measures. Results:The first confirmed case of COVID-19 was reported in South Korea on January 20, 2020. The epidemic peak occurred early in South Korea at the end of February. The South Korean government controlled the epidemic in early April by active searching, quarantine, testing and treating every case and traced every contacted person. In Japan, the first confirmed case was reported on January 16, 2020. The epidemic peak occurred late in Japan in early April. The Japanese government controlled the epidemic in early May by adopting containment measures that issued a "Declaration of Emergency" to the whole country, calling on the public to avoid unnecessary and urgent travel, staying at home, and asking businesses to close down. But at the end of June, the epidemic of Japan rebounded. Conclusion:The epidemic situation in South Korea and Japan is generally at a low level, and some prevention and control experiences are worth study and absorption, especially the prevention and control mode in South Korea needs further follow-up observation and study.
