Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2008;15(4):592-593
Objective To compare plasma levels of ANP in experimental and control groups and continuously explore the value of ANP in diagnosis and treatment of acute PTE. Methods Thirty guinea pigs were randomized to PTE group(n = 15) and control( n = 15) group. The plasma level of ANP was examined by radioimmunoassay. Moreover, pulmonary embolism(PE) was explored at dissection and on microscopic examination after PTE. Results (1)The plasma levels of ANP in the early phase of PTE group were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.05). (2)The plasma levels of ANP after PTE were significantly higher than those before PTE( P<0.05). (3)In the late phase of PTE, the plasma levels of ANP in PTE group declined to normal levels, compared with control group, and there was no significant difference( P>0.05). Conclusion (1) ANP, as a vasodilatory factor, was involved in mechanism of PTE,especially in the early phase of acute PTE. (2)The levels of ANP in plasma played as a sensitive marker used to observe conditions and seriousness of PTE.

OBJECTIVE:
To assess the association of CYP2C19 and CYP3A5 gene polymorphisms with the risk of myocardial infarction.
METHODS:
Five hundred patients with myocardial infarction and 500 healthy controls were randomly selected. Fluorescent PCR and Sanger sequencing were used to detect the CYP2C19 and CYP3A5 gene polymorphisms. Logistic regression was used to analyze the correlation between the polymorphisms and myocardial infarction. Quanto software was used to evaluate the statistical power.
RESULTS:
The two groups had significant difference in the frequency of AG, GG genotypes and A allele of the CYP2C19 gene rs4986893 locus and the AA, AG, GG genotypes and G allele of the CYP3A5 gene rs776746 locus ( P<0.05), but not in the frequency of genotypes and alleles of CYP2C19 gene rs4244285 and rs12248560 loci, and the AA genotype of the rs4986893 locus. After correction for age, gender, and body mass index, Logistic regression indicated that the AG genotype and A allele of the CYP2C19 gene rs4986893 locus, and the GG genotype and G allele of CYP3A5 gene rs776746 locus are associated with susceptibility of myocardial infarction, while rs4986893 GG genotype and AA and AG genotypes of rs776746 may confer a protective effect. Based on the sample size and allele frequency, analysis with Quanto software suggested that the result of this study has a statistical power of 99%.
CONCLUSION
CYP2C19 and CYP3A5 gene polymorphisms may increase the risk for myocardial infarction.

Objective:To study the correlation between fatigue symptoms and living condition of liver transplant recipients after discharge from hospital, so as to provide reference basis for preventing postoperative fatigue symptoms in recipients. Methods:From September 2018 to December 2018, 280 liver transplant recipients were selected from the liver transplantation clinic of a grade-three hospital in Shanghai by convenience sampling method, and clinical data of the patients were obtained by questionnaire survey to analyze factors of the symptom of postoperative fatigue. Results:A total of 280 patients were included, among which 130 patients showed fatigue symptoms, accounting for 46.4%. The results of single-factor analysis showed that the postoperative survival days, gender, total time of exercise, body mass index, working status, mode of payment of medical expenses, Sleep quality, negative emotions, and nutritional risk all exert an influence on fatigue symptoms ( P<0.05). The results of multi-factor analysis showed that the total time of exercise during a week ( OR=0.674, 95% CI:0.512-0.887), postoperative survival days ( OR=0.993, 95% CI:0.989-0.997) and the score of negative emotion scale ( OR=1.484, 95% CI:1.157-1.902) had significant influence on fatigue symptoms in patients ( P<0.01). Conclusions:Postoperative survival days, exercise time and negative emotions are the main factors affecting fatigue symptoms. Medical staff should evaluate and manage patients' psychological and activity exercise to improve fatigue symptoms.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the effectiveness of the varicella vaccine immunization strategy in Shanghai, and to provide evidence for enhancing prevention and control measures by analyzing the incidence and trends of varicella in Songjiang District, Shanghai from 2013 to 2021. MethodsA descriptive analysis was conducted on 12 417 varicella cases reported in Songjiang District between 2013 and 2021. The epidemiological distribution of varicella cases was described, and the incidence rates were compared among different demographic variables, including registered residence, gender, age, and occupation. ResultsA total of 12 417 varicella cases were reported in Songjiang District from 2013 to 2021,with an average annual incidence of 77.03/105. The incidence of varicella showed an increasing trend from 2013 to 2017 (χ2trend=19.39, P<0.001), followed by a subsequent decrease from 2017 to 2021(χ2trend=758.62, P<0.001). Varicella cases demonstrated significant seasonal variation, with peak incidences occurring in April to May and November to January of the following year. The incidence rate among local residents was higher than that among non-local residents (χ2=2 935.58, P<0.001). Most (38.59%) of the cases were students aged between 5 and 9 years old, accounting for 23.45% of the total cases. However, the age distribution of cases varied over the years (χ2=615.57, P<0.001), and the incidence among children aged 5 to 9 years showed a declining trend since 2017. ConclusionThe overall incidence of varicella in Songjiang District exhibites a declining trend in recent years. Although varicella primarily affects children, there have notable changes in the age distribution. Adjustment of the immunization strategy for varicella vaccines in Shanghai effectively reduces the proportion of school-age subjects.
