Objective The purpose of present study was to compare the efficacy of topical dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO),intralesional hyaluronidase(HAase)and intralesional HAase plus topical DMSO on skin damage caused by docetaxel extravasation in a rat model. Methods After the establishment of animal model of docetaxel extravasation on each hind limb in 30 SD rats, the animals were assigned randomly into 6 groups with 5 rats for each group:topical DMSO group(TD),intralesional HAase group(IH),IH plus TD group(IH+TD),topical normal saline group(tNS),intralesional NS group(iNS),and control group(C).The extent of skin damage and the healing time were observed and compared. Results The extent of skin damage was different among the 6 groups:severer skin damage was seen in tNS,iNS and C groups compared with TD,IH and IH+TD groups. The healing time was significantly shorter in TD group than in both tNS and C groups [(19.10?2.13)d vs(23.70?2.41)d and(25.70?2.26)d,P

Objective To explore the effects of guideline-based symptom cluster management program on the severity of fatigue, pain, sleep disturbance and the quality of life in lung cancer patients. Methods A total of 88 lung cancer patients admitted from July 2017 to November 2017 were divided into the intervention group and the control group with 44 cases in each group by the wards. The control group received routine nursing. The intervention group received health education and related skills guidance about symptom management of fatigue, pain and sleep disturbance on the basis of routine. The severity of fatigue, pain, sleep disturbance and quality of life were compared between the 2 groups after 3 weeks intervention. Results After 3 weeks intervention, the scores of fatigue, pain and sleep disturbance in the intervention group were 3.65 ± 0.97, 2.44 ± 0.79, 9.30 ± 2.41 respectively, the scores in the control group were 3.89 ± 1.05, 2.77 ± 0.88, 10.09 ± 1.97 respectively. There was no statistically significant differences in fatigue score (F=1.60,P>0.05),but there were statistically significant differences in pain and sleep disturbance scores between two groups (F=7.83, 5.13, all P<0.05). The scores of quality of life, physical, psychological, social, environmental domains in the intervention group were 52.42 ± 4.71,14.02 ± 2.05, 12.39±2.36, 14.39±2.45, 11.61±1.84 respectively, the control group were 50.77±4.11, 13.31±2.21, 11.89 ± 2.04, 13.65 ± 2.69, 11.92 ± 1.86 respectively. There was no statistically significant differences in scores of psychological and environmental domains (F=0.52, all P>0.05), but there were statistically significant differences in total score, scores of physical and social domains between two groups(F=5.03-6.86, all P<0.05). Conclusion The guideline-based management program could effectively control the deterioration of the severity of fatigue, pain, sleep disturbance and improve patient's quality of life.

Objective To study the effect of nursing intervention on the catheter prolapse of the powerpPICC (high pressure injection type PICC catheter). Methods A total of 140 patients with powerpPICC were divided into observation group and control group by the catheter inserting time, with 70 cases in each group. The observation group received conventional nursing care, and the control group the targeted care measures based on analysis of catheter prolapse in the observation group. Result The rate of catheter prolapse in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusions The prolapse of powerpPICC is related to catheter material, exposed length, fixed method, patient's compliance, catheter caring method. The care measures based on the different causes can decrease the rate of catheter prolapse and extend its duration.

Objective:To investigate the effects of Resolvin D1 (RvD1) on the inflammatory response and the expression of Nod-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3) inflammasomes in mice with acute lung injury. Methods:The 30 male BALB/c mice weighing 25-30 g were divided into 3 groups(each group with 10 mice). Mice in the normal control group were given normal saline by tail vein injection.Mice in the lipopolysaccharide (LPS) group were given the same volume of LPS (10 mg/kg) via tail vein injection.Mice in the RvD1 group were injected with RvD1 (5 μg/kg) through the tail vein 30 minutes prior to LPS administration.Mice were humanely sacrificed after 6 hours.Histopatholo-gical changes of lung tissue, the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines interleukin(IL)-18 and IL-1β, and the expression of NLRP3 inflammasomes in lung tissue were measured. Results:After LPS administration, the lung of mice showed pathological damage. The levels of pro-inflammatory factors IL-18 and IL-1β as well as the expression of NLRP3, apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a card(ASC)and Caspase-1 in the LPS group were significantly higher than those in the normal control group (all P<0.05). After pretreatment with RvD1, the pathological damage of lung tissue was alleviated. The levels of pro-inflammatory factors IL-18 and IL-1β as well as the expression of NLRP3, ASC and Caspase-1 in the RvD1 group were significantly lower than those in the LPS group (all P<0.05). Conclusions:RvD1 can attenuate the pulmonary inflammation in acute lung injury and inhibit the release of pro-inflammatory factors, which is possibly related to the suppression of NLRP3.
