Objective To evaluate the significance of AFP-IgM, this is one of new tumor markers, in the diagnosis of primary hepatocellular carcinoma (PHC). Methods The contents of AFP-IgM and AFP in serum of 103 healthy subjects, 74 patients suffered primary hepatic carcinoma, 27 patients affected by liver cirrhosis and 63 patients affected by chronic hepatitis were detected by means of enzyme linked immunosorbent assay and electrochemiluminescence. No-PHC is comprised of liver cirrhosis, chronic hepatitis and health subjects as control group. Results The area under ROC curve of AFP was larger than that of AFP-IgM (0.85 vs 0.72, Z=3.21) and the best cut-off value of AFP-IgM and AFP was 3×105-AU/L and 10 ug/L respectively, which was determined by ROC curve. Under the cut-off value, the sensitivity of AFP- lgM and AFP for PHC were 64.9% and 79.7%, and the specificity were 75.6% and 80.3%, yet their efficacies were similar. However, for early diagnosis of liver cancer (stage Ⅰ and Ⅱ), the area under ROC curve of AFP-IgM was larger than that of AFP (0.91 vs 0.82,Z=1.73). The sensitivity of AFP-IgM andAFP were 94.4% and 72. 2%, and the specificity were 81.9% and 79.9%. The differences of AFP-IgMand AFP for early diagnosis of liver cancer were statistically significant. When both of the test results combined AFP-IgM with AFP are positive, it can be diagnosed as liver cancer. The specificity of combineddetermination of the two forms was 89.1%, and the efficacy was 79. 0%. Conclusions Both of thesensitivity and specificity of the AFP-IgM test were higher than that of the AFP for early diagnosis of livercancer. We also found that combined determination of the two forms significantly increased the specificityand the positive predictive value for the diagnosis of PHC, thus AFP-IgM was of especially significance forearly diagnosis of liver cancer.

Objective:
To explore mental health status of vocational college students and its association with physical exercise and exercise motivation, so as to provide data support for the promotion of physical exercise, exercise motivation theory and the protection of mental health among vocational college students.
Methods:
From June 2 to July 2, 2023, a convenience sampling method was used to select 1 763 college students from three vocational colleges in Sichuan, Chongqing, and Guizhou for the survey. Physical Activity Rating Scale (PARS-3), Motives for Physical Activities Measure-Revised (MPAM-R), Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) and Flourishing Scale (FS) were used to assess physical exercise, exercise motivation, depressive symptoms and flourishing levels of vocational college students. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted to examine the relationship between physical exercise, exercise motivation, depression as the negative indicator of mental health and flourishing as the positive indicator of mental health.
Results:
There were negative correlations between physical exercise, exercise motivation and their five factors with depression scores among vocational college students ( r=-0.162--0.133, P <0.01). Physical exercise, health motivation and pleasure motivation were positively correlated with flourishing and its eight factors among vocational college students ( r= 0.054 -0.099, P <0.05). Depression scores and flourishing scores varied significantly across students with different levels of physical exercise and exercise motivation ( F=11.18-15.69, 2.80-16.05, P <0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis indicated that physical exercise, health motivation, and total exercise motivation scores were negatively correlated with depressive symptoms ( β = -0.02 , -0.11, -0.35), and physical exercise, health motivation, pleasure motivation, and total exercise motivation scores were positively correlated with flourishing ( β =0.31, 0.32, 0.50, 0.30) ( P <0.05).
Conclusions
Physical exercise and exercise motivation are significantly associated with mental health of vocational college students. Enhancing physical exercise and increasing exercise motivation in aspects of health and pleasure can promote mental health of vocational college students.

Cancer Research on Prevention and Treatment 2024;51(9):772-778
Objective To investigate potential causative associations between immunophenotype traits and cervical cancer by using two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis. Methods The genetic instrumental variables (IVs) of 731 immunophenotypes of peripheral blood were obtained from the GWAS Catalog database. The GWAS summary data of cervical cancer were obtained from FinnGen database. The inverse-variance weighted (IVW), weighted mode, weighted median, and MR Egger methods were used for evaluations. The sensitivity analysis and reverse Mendelian randomization analysis were conducted to eliminate bias and reverse causality. The MR Steiger directionality test was further used to ascertain the reverse causal relationship between immune cells and cervical cancer. Results A total of 71 immune cell subtypes associated with cervical cancer were identified, of which 31 had a strong association. The majority of the B cell panel was protective factors for cervical cancer. B-cell activating factor receptor (BAFF-R) was the most frequently expressed molecule in this analysis. It is expressed on several B cell subtypes. The CD20 on IgD+ CD38+ B cell (OR=1.887, 95%CI: 1.078-3.306, P=0.026) is the risk factor for cervical cancer. In cDC panels, the CD123 expression on plasmacytoid dendritic cell (OR=2.48, 95%CI: 1.229-5.003, P=0.011), CD123 expression on CD62L+ plasmacytoid dendritic cell (OR=2.5, 95%CI: 1.231-5.077, P=0.011), CD80 expression on plasmacytoid dendritic cell (OR=2.62,95%CI:1.244-5.515, P=0.011), and CD80 expression on CD62L+ plasmacytoid dendritic cell (OR=2.641, 95%CI: 1.246-5.596, P=0.011) were positively associated with the incidence of cervical cancer. All gynecological cancers in this study have no statistically significant effect on immune cells, according to reverse MR analysis. Conclusion This study emphasized the genetically predicted causality between immune cells and cervical cancer. In clinical practice, it is important to pay attention to the screening of peripheral blood immune cells for patients with cervical cancer.

Objective To characterize the distribution and assess the exposure to phthalic acid esters (PAEs) in the indoor dust of Shanghai City. Methods Samples were collected from 33 sampling sites, including homes, hotels, offices and public places, in Shanghai in 2018, 2019, and 2020. The samples were pretreated by 100 sieves, extracted and concentrated, and then analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry in selected ion mode (SIM). Results Results on the characteristics of PAEs in indoor dust in different places showed that concentrations of PAEs were in a range of <0.01-2 464 mg·kg-1.The average concentration of 16 PAEs was 613 mg·kg-1. Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), di-iso-butyl phthalate (DiBP), di-n-butyl phthalate (DBP) and di-n-octyl phthalate (DnOP) were the main components of PAEs in indoor dust, accounting for approximately 99.5% of 16 PAEs. The intake of DEHP, DBP, DEP and BBP was lower than the tolerable daily intake (TDI) and reference doses (RfD) set by EU CSTEE and U.S. EPA. Conclusion Average daily dose (ADD) via indoor dust is estimated, and the order of intake through different pathways is hand-oral intake>skin contact>respiratory inhalation. Exposure risk of PAEs in children is greater than that in adults.

Immune checkpoint inhibitors are able to reactivate the immune system therefore enhance the anti-tumor effects. However, over-activated T cells may induce immune related adverse events (irAEs). Hematological irAEs are rarely reported, which mainly represent as mono-lineage cytopenia or pancytopenia, including autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA), immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), neutropenia and aplastic anemia, sometimes even lethal, such as hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis. The clinical manifestations of hematological irAEs will be summarized and recommendations of diagnosis and treatment are proposed.
