Clinical Medicine of China 2011;27(3):261-264
Objective To explore the clinical significance of the changes of renal artery blood stream parameters in patients with essential hypertensive by color Doppler ultrasonography. Methods Ninety patients with essential hypertension were enrolled and divided into three groups (grade 1,2,3 ) according to their clinical blood pressure from May 2006 to July 2010 and each group included 30 cases. Thirty normal individuals were assigned to the control group. Color Doppler ultrasonography was used to determine the blood flow spectrum of bilateral main renal arteries, segmental arteries and interlobar arteries of kidneys. The parameters included Vmax, Vmin, Vmin/Vmax, resistance index (RI) were recorded and analyzed. Results In the control group, the Vmax,Vmin,Vmin/Vmax and RI in main renal arteries were (63.99 ± 7.68)cm/s, (23.86 ± 3.07) cm/s,0. 38 ± 0. 05 and 0. 62 ± 0. 05 ;in segmental arteries were ( 52. 93 ± 4. 24) cm/s, ( 20. 89 ± 2. 47 ) cm/s,0. 40 ±0. 04 and 0. 60 ±0. 04;in interlobar arteries were (35. 32 ±4. 22)cm/s, ( 15.07 ±2. 54) cm/s,0. 43 ±0. 04 and 0. 57 ± 0. 04. Compared to the control, only Vmin, Vmin/Vmax and RI in interlobar arteries were statistically changed in grade 1 hypertension group ( P < 0. 05 ). While in grade 2 hypertension group, all the blood flow parameters except Vmax in main renal arteries statistically changed compared to the control group(P < 0.05 ). In grade 3 hypertension group, all the blood flow parameters showed statistically differences when compared to control group (P < 0. 05 ). The Vmax, Vmin, Vmin/Vmax decreased along with the blood pressure increased, however, the RI increased along with BP. Conclusion The renal artery blood stream parameters determined by color Doppler ultrasonography can provide important information to evaluate abnormal renal function in patients with hypertension.

Objective To study the HLA match rate of 222 living-related donors for kidney transplantation, and to give suggestions for clinical selection of suitable donors and recipients. Methods We analyzed the HLA match rate of 222 kidney transplantations from living relative donors from April 2006 to December 2008. There were 168 male recipients and 54 female recipients. The ages of 222 recipients ranged from 10 to 58. There were 133 male donors and 89 female donors. The ages of 222 recipients ranged from 21 to 64.Results The HLA-A, B, DR, DR, antigens of 87 kidney transplantations from living parental donors were half-matched, of which 14 were higher than half-matched. The HLA-A, B, DR, DQ antigens of 7 kidney transplantations from living children donors were half-matched, including 2 cases higher than half-matched.Among 56 kidney transplantations from living sibling donors, 12 cases were totally mated, 34 cases were half-matched, and the rest were less than half-matched or mismatched. Among 72 kidney transplantations from other living relative donors, 20 cases were higher than half-matched and 5 cases were completely mismatched. More than 4 HLA antigens in 6 cases were matched, but not half-matched. Three HLA antigens or less were matched in 41 cases. Conclusion The HLA match rates from living parental, children, or sibling donors were higher than other relative donors.

AIM To compare the protective effects of norepinephrine preconditioning(NEPC)and ischemic preconditioning(IPC)on myocardial ischemic/reperfused injury in rats in vivo . METHODS Rats were divided into control, ischemia/ reperfusion, classic IPC and NEPC groups. After 20 min reperfusion, several indexes including cardiac function indexes, MDA were tested, the myocardial ultrastr ucture and the injury reaction of catalase observed. RESULTS Both IPC and NEPC could protect myocardial ultra structure, ameliorate left heart function, decrease cardiac MDA content and protect the activity of catalase. CONCLUSION Extra micro norepinephrine preconditioning as a non injury method can mimic the protective effects of classic IPC and shows its clinical values.

Objective To investigate the relationships between expressions of HPV and EBV in larynge-al carcinoma. Methods DNA flow-through hybridization and gene chip genotyping technology(HybriMax)and real-time quantitative PCR were used for 37 subtypes of HPV detection and quantitative detection of EBV in 101 cases of laryngeal cancer paraffin embedded tissue specimens. 43 cases of vocal cord polyp of paraffin embedded tissue specimens were used as the controls. Results The positive rate of laryngeal carcinoma was 13.86% in group HPV and 9.3% in the control group ,with no statistically significant difference between the positive expres-sions of HPV in the laryngeal carcinoma group and control group(P>0.05). The positive rate of laryngeal carci-noma was 63.37% and 13.95%,respectively ,in group EBV ,and the control group ,with significant difference between them(P < 0.05). In respect of the positive rate by comparing differently differentiated EBV in laryngeal carcinoma ,there was no significant difference in the positive expression of EBV in well differentiated and differen-tiated laryngeal carcinoma(P>0.05),but the difference was statistically significant in highly differentiated EBV as compared with those with low differentiation type, medium differentiation and poor differentiation(P < 0.05). There was no significant difference between the groups in view of sex ,age and course of disease in the patients (P > 0.05). Conclusions The incidence of laryngeal carcinoma is closely related with EBV infection ,possibly relationed with HPV and high-risk subtypes of HPV have a certain role in the process of induced laryngeal carcino-ma. The gender ,age and duration of disease have no significant correlation with EBV infection. This study will provide a basis for further invesgitation of pathogenesis of laryngeal cancer and prevention and treatment of larynge-al cancer.

Objective To study the microsatellite instability (MSD) of D310 and D16184 located in mitochondrial D-loop region in acute leukemia (AL). Methods The HV-1 and HV-2 regions in D-loop region of 100 persons with the untreated and treated acute leukemia was amplificated and screened by PCR-SSCP,then the abnormal samples was amplificated and sequenced directly and compared with revised Cambridge reference sequence (rCRS) and mtDB. The mutation rates of D310 and D16184 was measured by SPSS11.5 statistics software, x2-test. Results The total mutation rate of D310 was found in 49.0 % (49/100) of our patients. Its mutation rates in untreated group and treated group were 32.5 % (13/40) and 60.0 % (36/60)respectively. The mutation rate of treated group is higher than that in untreated group (P < 0.05). The total mutation rate of D16184 was found in 32.0 % (32/100) of our patients. Its mutation rates in untreated group and treated group were 20.0 % (8/40) and 40.0 % (24/60) respectively. The mutation rate of treated group is higher than that in untreated group (P < 0.05). Conclusion There was a high mutation rate with various types of mutations of microsatellite D310 and D16184 located in mitochondrial D-loop region in AL, which led to a doughty MSI. Chemotherapy could cause a more doughty MSI.
